I understand that the question might provoke a bit of negative response as it could be PERCEIVED as a lack of appreciation towards ALL those cooking ROMS. Im sure no offense is meant by the qursetion though. As a not so hard rule, the ROMS most recent are usually based on the most recent kernels (which have improvements and latest tweaks and latest apps, but not necessarily are the best). So I suggest you try a few different ones, but maybe starting from the latest.
May I take the opportunity to thank all cookers who have contributed one way or another to us today having roms that are fantastic.

you have to try them that is the only way to see which is the BEST for YOU. I currently have six different builds most from mdeejay so like i said try them and find out everyone is different i have energy rom tmob usa mdeejay froyo nextsense 2.4.2

first i just wanted to say its not called droid...its android. droid is nothing more than a brand name that verizon uses for MOST of their android handsets. they pay george lucas extra money just to use the DROID name

Thanks for the help.. I've tried a few builds.. Now I think I do something else to my phone to get my voice to sound correct when I'm using the phone.

Make sure you have a recent Radio (the 2.15.50.14 works fine with Android and WM).

of course this will cause a flame war

if you don't like this tread then why are you reading it? if it's posted in the wrong category, then surely a mod will move it. in the mean time, try to carry on in your self-inflicted misery individually, instead of dragging everyone else into your negativity.

If you know how to do it for your co-worker, I'm assuming you have experience, so wouldn't you know which build is stable by now?
Look at my signature. That's the most stable combo for me, works flawlessly as a daily build.

Problems with superuser in HD2 MDJ Froyo Sense HD 4.6

Superuser dont load, its really weird but all other funtions seem to work well any advice??

Why not just direct him to the thread where the build is released instead of directing him to the Q&A forum. This kind of question is best asked in the ROM thread where you might actually get a good reply.
Using the search function within a thread also helps..

First look at what sets your rom apart or is its signature component and then base the name on that. Otherwise use something based on cold.

There is not much i can tell about it, it includes various tweaks and things, a droid 3 theme, and a few more things. Its quite stable. Thanks for all suggestions

Thats what i was thinking about. Apart from the droid theme, there is not much more that makes it different from other roms. Maybe Cold Droid or something similar.

You need to give more information. What are your steps? Tell us exactly what you did. You can follow this guide if you need.

brother my hd2 512 manla not 1024`my rideo 2.15.50.14_2 and i do rest defalt and wip cash from CLOCKWORK MOD and if me restart my phone if htc become make my phone stop working

samsamuel's was obvious sarcasm and yours was incorrect English, but that can be forgiven of course seeing as it clearly isn't your native language. What cannot be forgiven so easily is your reasoning behind pointing out his incorrect use of English. Does it matter? I can sort of understand what he's saying (correct use of he's) and he has read the forum rules so is using a translator to English, which helps us a lot. In other words, don't point out people's English mistakes if they've used a translator. If they are just uneducated British/American people who use English incorrectly, then that's fine.
@ OP, have you checked the partition size is correct and have you actually flashed a ROM? The phone won't boot if there is no ROM.

Well i installed a new rom and i made a mistake of not backing the apps i mostly use . well any ways i go to the market and i search for the xda developers app and its not there . what happen to it ? and can some one upload the app if you have it ? it was free so i dont think is bad if its uploaded here ? or is it ?

Was wondering the same thing...cannot find it either through google, went to appbrain and said it is no longer in the market...weird...

i know . i was thinking it was my phone but i checked with another one i have and the same .. so no one has a copy of it ? i would really appreciated it ..

oh. so they took out the free version cause i only see the .99 cent one ..

I forgot what issue they were having I seen it in another post but I forgot but it will be back up when they resolve the problem.
Also if your rooted download the BlackMarket he he he you will find everything you need and more there
