You have to manually change the image colors in the SystemUI apk or download a tc theme with your desired colors.

[REQ] White top bar for sense roms.

Everyone is making tons of black top bars for their froyo Tom's. But what I really want to see is a white top bar and maybe the stock icons too made for sense 2.1 roms.
Can anyone help?
Am i the only one who wants this? I like sense but i really would like a white top bar!
I too would like to have white status bar with stock icons, hope someone cares to share it.
White top bar = more power usage no one want's that
we have amoled displays. why would we worry about battery usage of the display.
i want it too.

then you have to change services.jar to change text colour to something but white, or you won't be seeing a thing
I'd be willing to do it if i knew how. I guess it's just me interested in doing this then?
? do you want only the status bar at the top or do you want the icons in settings to? shud it be like an unrooted desire? i think i can fix it.

Spareparts options!

I just changed my current theme using metamorph to a white status bar theme however I can't see the writing on the status bar because it is white also. (I came from a black theme) I then when to spareparts but this rom version does not offer the option to change the color of the text in spareparts.
Any solution?
Sounds to me like the white bar is assuming you're coming from stock so it doesn't bother to change the text back to black, and the black bar is assuming the same thing, so it changed the text to white.
The best solution would be to reflash the ROM and then install the white bar mod. Most ROMs can just be reflashed on top of themselves with no issues, but if issues appear, wipe and reflash.
However, make sure you nandroid before doing this in case I'm wrong.
Is there a white bar mod? I am just using a theme.
Either way, flash back to default ROM and reflash that theme.
The wysie color mods were moved to cm settings under settings. No need for a wipe.

I am a bit confused. Wysie color mods? I am using SuperCSDIv4 and it is black themed. So I used metamorph to install a 1.6 template stock theme but the text on the status bar is white still along with the white bar. lol
So where is this wysie color mod?
there probably isn't he was assuming your using Cyanogen mod
So how am I suppose to change the text color of the ticker? Is there a ported version of the new spareparts for 1.6 with the ticker color change option?

If the theme was not made for the ROM, the only way to do it is to change the text yourself in the default ROM then reflashing the metamorph. Sorry, I can't help on this. :/
No, there's no ported version. 1.6 is pretty much dead.

[Q] Help editing UI bars color

I want to change the color of UI bars, for example the bar that appears when I adjust the volume or RAM usage bar in task manager. I want to edit the necesary files, but I don't know how to do. I think I have to edit a xml file and find the color in hex code and change it... right?
Someone helps?

I can't find those pngs, In framerok-res.apk I find progrees bar pngs, for example the bar that appears when you are downloading an app, but I can't find "static" bars, like brightness slider bar or volume control.
I want to change the color of mentioned bars, not progress bars.
They are a 1x1. 9.png like title_bar.9.png
Sent un Samsung Galaxia S Quatro LTE
also, editing the styles.xml can change the progress bars height.
Sent from my GT-I8190 using xda app-developers app
It is progress_primary_holo_light.9.png
I told you that they are same, progress bar and slider
I have changed all framework pngs many times and the brightness slider and volume control bar always have the same color.
try this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32092724&postcount=2
no. 9 guide
I've tried that personally and works!
SOLUTION: Edit progress_horizontal xml in res/drawable in framework-res.apk
THANKS TO ALL!!!

notification bar font

Is there a way to make the font on the notification bar smaller? I changed the system font to the smallest, but that doesn't change the bar. With all the icons and battery percent it nearly takes up the whole screen.

I've also noticed that changing the system font doesn't change the font in the notification bar, either. Anyone have any ideas?

Issue with 3minit battery/clock

So I'm trying to live with the fact that I can't remove the 3minit battery and clock from the ROM I'm using, but I have an issue that is driving me insane. The battery and clock are set to white, so when I go to a screen with a white background, like settings, the battery and clock disappear.
Is there any way to make them change to black like the rest of the system status bar icons? If not, I guess I will be going back to my old ROM...

Go into the 3-minit clock app and tap each one of the bubbles to open up the settings you can change the color of the clock parts there then click on the bubble at the bottom and select apply changes.
As for 3minit battery you can change the colors of the battery if you download one of the colorable battery themes

Yes, I understand that, but there is no way for the color to adapt to the background. So if the background is light, the color should be black. If the background is dark, then the color should change to white. With 3minit, it's either always black or always white (or whatever color I set it to). The system default is to adapt to the background. Why is that not an option?

What I always did with 3minit (before this V20 which I want battery in the second screen) I used it to hide battery, then use system settings for battery percentage in status bar. That way it should adapt.
Id look into the ModControl and ModInstaller apps being developed here for the V20.
It has the ability to add and remove a ton of ui mods. Depending on the rom it may change a good bit as it replaces the systemui with a modded on.
But it would allow you to turn 3mini clock mod off or on in your rom. Making it a revert to stock kinda option persay. It should be very universal on v20 stock roms.

Unfortunately, the mods are hard-coded into the ROM and are not configurable through ModControl, which would have made better sense. I like customization, but not at the expense of options. If I wanted that, I would have stayed with an iPhone. I think the best solution is to just go back to your ROM.
3minit clock
Hi,
Please did you manage to get the clock changes the color based on the background ? Thanks
