Hi all,
Has anyone had any luck installing Nitro's Eclipse rom on their dev edition Razr M?
I'm using TWRP and installed it, but I keep getting stuck in boot animation.
Thanks!

Hey guys,
I am new to flashing roms and xda-developers. I saw the post on CM 10 for the RAZR M. But whenever I try to flash it, the CM logo comes up and just keeps spinning without stopping. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Thanks,
Abhi
Details? Are you using safestrap or are you unlocked and using a custom recovery like twrp or cwm?

I am using safestrap 3.05.19. It is a locked bootloader device. The cm version is the latest one posted in the original thread, and gapps for cm 10.
you have to use matglorf's motorola Razr utility 1.20 to unlock, flash and offcourse root with it. I did. :good:

Yep... That's your problem. To run the latest CM (anything AOSP for that matter...) You MUST BE unlocked. Also, wipe data and cache after flashing...

Hey all,
So I'm sure I'm just doing something stupid and need someone to slap me, but here's what's going on...
I've tried installing every Android 5.0 Rom I can find for the kltevzw in here, it will install (after a factory reset of course) and when I go to reboot, I get a black screen for about 5 seconds after the S5 logo then it reboots into recovery.
I have a Verizon S5 currently with Beans' 4.4.4 (v19) and safestrap 3.75. I've got the NI2 bootloader. Can't think of anything as useful.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Dude....You are in the wrong section...XDA made a "Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting" for a reason!....You can probably get an answer threre

Isn't Verizon's bootloader locked? That would explain the black screen you are getting.

Why would the bootloader all of a sudden be an issue with 5.0,when it's not an issue with 4.4.4?

not just that you can only instal TW roms but you cant install ANY 5.0 rom TW or otherwise without the 5.0 kernel which you can't flash due to the locked bootloader, this is the same situation as with AT&T S5 devices. until ATT and VZW come out with 5.0 and we can gain root and update safestrap for 5.0 we are stuck with 4.4.x
So I went to flash the new version of CM12 onto my Razr M xt905. During the flash I got an error straight away "This package is for devices with 4.4 bootloader". So now I can't upgrade to 5.0.. My question is how do I update my boot loader to 4.4?

Sorry but I am unable to find a stock rom for the XT905 only the XT907. Would you be able to direct me to the correct alternative rom or any other solution.

I see that you have blisspop (Sent from my RAZR M on BlissPop Lollipop 5.0.2 from Tapatalk) installed which I might try however is this the correct thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr-m/development/rom-blissstalk-team-bliss-t2917423
I can see that there is a DL link for "MOTO_MSM8960 (JBBL)" which I have 2 questions for:
1) Is this Andriod 5.0?
2) Is it compatible for the XT905?
EDIT: I installed it however once I boot into the OS I get several errors such as 'Unfortunately setup wizard has stopped"

That is BlissStalk, not BlissPop. BlissPop is on droidrzr.com. yes it's 5.0 (as stated in my signature) and it should work since your on a moto msm device.
Edit: not sure about compatibility since the xt905 uses a different radio I believe since it's Australian. Ask the dev

Any fix for this?
Even I have an XT905, and from what i have searched on the net, an official kitkat update hasnt come for xt905.
What can be done to get the latest boot files, so that I can flash the latest custom roms, almost all are based out on KITKAT
You would need a KitKat compatible modem for the XT905. And as you already mentioned, it's not available yet.
But it's still possible to use XT907 ROMs for the JB bootloader.
I am using BlissPop on XT905. You just need to download the "jbbl" version. The first boot takes some time so be patient.
It is buttery smooth and battery life is awesome.
Radio is on separate partition and is not flashed by BlissPop
