I think you will have better luck in the a200 forum rather than in the a500 thread you posted on.
Acertabletfourm.com forum/acer-a200-roms/ there's no thread on xda for a200. I'm using aokp jb milestone 1 pretty stable

Okay guys I been an XDA member for a very long time and I'm new the tablet scene and just got an A500 I'm still on HC boot loader. I'm using Taboonay ROM but all the themes and mods I see are directed to this ROM. I do not want to cause any harm to the device so how would I go about moding the ROM I use now

Does any body can tell me how to install it or if its not posible please?! :fingers-crossed:
Ask in miui thread.
I am sure you can use humberos kernel.
The miui v4 by ronak.super is based on cm9.

Thanks for the help! I finally installed it but i dont even know how i did it! i just flashed the rom and humberos kernel and didnt get anything... the i tried to get back to the latest alrogers rom MTD and it rebooted by itself, then when it turned on i had MIUI V4 on it! (i had to clear dalvik cache and data!)

I really love the rom!
(Sorry about my english by the way!)
Hello guys i´m kinda new in this world of customizing android devices, the first android was a samsun galaxy ace, 2nd a xperia arc s, but now i have a problem with my acer iconia a200 beacuse it seems like there´s not a post or a tab properly for the a200 here on xda so my question is does the acer a200 is exactly the same as the a500? but more specific the method of changing bootanimations, the kernels and roms works as fine on the a200 as the a500?
thanx!! to everyone that help me on this post.
P.D.1: sorry about my bad english xD
P.D.2: don´t be like "uuhhh! look for info around xda" please be helpfull
I understand this is an old thread but I thought I would share some insight on these a200s. I used some version of James rom on mine to root it and its working fine. It was meant for an a500. That doesn't mean every rom meant for an a500 will work for an a200. Hope this helps someone out there since there's not much on our a200s.

There is supposed to be a version of CM9 in the works but there is no ETA. If you find anymore I would love to hear about it.
Thanks for posting those. There is a build of cm9 but has literally nothing working. It is available here http://www.tabletroms.com/forums/th...[wip][4-0-3]ics-cm9-thinkpad-tablet-port.html
