I'm dealing with the same issue. I think its freezing in superone click because the phone requires the "SPC code" to apply the root. What i've found is you have to patch the phones firmware first, and then attempt to root it. I've tried using SUT LR to patch it, but before the patch can be applied, you have to enter the "SPC code". This is where i'm at in the process, I can't figure out how to figure out the "SPC code" for my particular phone, the Defy XT 555c.
I've tried having aLogcat running in the background while trying the ##data# method, doesn't seem to work on this phone(works on my other phones). I've tried using several calculators that would take the ESN or the MEIE and converting it, that didn't work.
The "SPC code" is a 6 digit number required to change the firmware. My phone is through straight talk, so i tried getting it from them but they said i would have to try motorola. So emailing motorola is my next step.
Hopefully anyone who views this that knows a little more about it than we will stop and give their two cents.. any and all help is greatly appreciated!
Your farther than me. I havent got that far lol ill try to look up the spc code and if i find it i will post it

Cannot root Motorola Defy XT 555C. Please help?? Have tried pretty much everything
Hi,
Could someone help me out. I just recent got a Motorola Defy XT 555C from Net10 and am trying to root it. I had an LG Optimus LG L45C Android and got this newer one.
I have tried to access the denied permissions, tried numerous approaches over the past two weeks about rooting the Defy but still no luck. Can some give me in layman's terms what I need to do? Sorry to ask but am not the most tech savvy person at times. I am disabled with Parkinson's and use the Android for a lot of features that are voice activated since my hands shake quite a bit so voice technology has been a life saver. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, John
:good:
check out my thread for rooting info. im off to figure out how to get custom recovery now... i think its going to require downgrade flashing a fixed sbf. this device cannot be downgraded using only stock sbf's, they have to be fixed.
how to put 555c to diag mode???
sut lr connect phone but not grate com port..
help please.. need to flash prl to it.. mdn i changed

Boot loader unlock

I guess it may be too early to know, but does anyone know if the boot loader will be unlockable on the US version? I know it doesn't release until mid July. I'm contemplating this because I like the looks and even the specs (I don't need the latest and greatest processor). The copper colored one on Amazon looks fantastic.
I think this thread is important. Keeping an eye on it. Would consider a purchase if unlockable. It would be a ****ty move to not unlock it. They could sell more phones if unlockable
Hello guys, im not sure but lenovo k6 note has equivalent specification as Nokia 6 so i think is possibile to root/unlock bt using k6 note methods ?? anybody can check ?

Ok so i got all the files required to root a lenovo k6, theres probably something that will need to be modified.
File are here : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B2dVzKZymUDWQnJXbFlBeXZCQUk?usp=sharing
please correct me if im wrong. Hopefully someone can dig into this because i really dont get time to search and try and test it on my own. Plus this is my main phone, cant ruin it.(half ruined with no g services already)
Also i want to add that i tried the blackberry method too, https://forums.crackberry.com/black...lts-official-google-apps-landing-page-965257/
its pretty outdated i guess.

Product ID Generator

Product ID Generator
Hi everyone, in case anyone of you want to unlock your bootloader now that the page is back up, you know that you'll need to get the product ID from EMUI.
if your device is bricked and you can only get to fastboot, you'll be unable to read it! I wanted to solve that problem, and that's why I've launched a product ID generator.
In order to use it, go here and type your serial number (you can read it with 'fastboot oem get-psid').
In a matter of seconds you'll have your product ID and you'll be able to unlock your bootloader!
PS: The page may be a bit slow, since the server is not as powerful as it should, I'll fix that!
I hope you find it useful.

https://www.emui.com/en/unlock_index - You'll still need an account to access it and from what I understand, it'll only be working for 60 days after it was updated(I believe it was updated 3 days ago? So about 56/57 more days.)
As for OP, is the website down right now? Was heading over to it, but wasn't able to load the page. Thanks in advanced, though!

I'm trying to put twrp on this phone, but it seems locked. Is the product ID what I need to achieve my goal? If so, can you point me in the right direction? In another thread (ongoing), someone suggested DC unlocker. Is that the only way?

No, product ID will not help you unlock your device. As of now the only way I am aware of to unlock is the paid service such as dc-unlocker.

Currently latest binary there isnt any unlock for but I am working on it some. It is one of the more difficult ones to do due to Sprints new security. Only one team so far (at least made public) has done unlocks for it. If you have older binary builds there are some unlocks available on clangsm forum. Might check there.
Well not so much of a challenge anymore I guess on this one. The Yemen fellows have managed to unlock this long ago and now it seems everyone has a solution for it heard so much for Sprint's latest RSA haha

I have this phone and see many different methods. Some say very difficult and easy to brick, others are just not clear (to an old man).
SM-J337P
Software Version: J337PVPU4BSJ2
If you hade one in your hand right now, do you have a favorite tutorial / method to obtain root?
What about a custom rom, you have a recommendation?
Thanks in advance to all with input, I value it

Hey there nice to meet you. Pretty much the 337 P can be rooted if you have cheated PRP for it that is about the easiest way to go about it. You can also get the boot image and go ahead and use it with magisk in a Flash the boot image back get it rooted and then use something like AAP ke flasher to flash TW RP but again you would need a custom as men are built in mine is not finish it. However you will run into some issues if you do the ladder as they will need to be signed images at least I have came to find out. And remember Ruth should be treated all up most respect otherwise you will have a phone that is vulnerable to just about everything in the world haha. Take care

getting bootloader code hash?

Hi,
Since Huawei closed giving away bootloader codes,
and I've blowed 60 USD on dc unlocker,
is there a way to get the bootloader code hash to decrypt it with hashcat, for example?
Best Regards,
Aleksander

Yes but don't know how to get the bootloader code
Downgrade as low as possible and give it a try.
haexhub/huaweiBootloaderHack: Huawei-unlock-bootloader (github.com)
Edit:
First Download This -> SkyEmie/huawei-honor-unlock-bootloader: A simple tool for managing Huawei/Honor devices to unlock bootloader (github.com)
then grab unlock.py from haexhub and replace it. Then its a 'All-in-One Package' - no need to install anything.

THANKS A LOT M8!!!!!!!!!!!
I've started the program but i am just curious how many different codes/how many attempts can there be in total?
Thats a good question, im sure u can find the answer in one of the 2 repos. One is endless (pure bruteforce) vs IMEI + HASH.
I'm still too lazy to Downgrade my Phone to give it a try (with out rebooting every 4 attempts), because no clue if its worth all the effort, as Huawei modding / hacking seems like almost dead.

Ok thanks I've started the brute force the day same as u shared the github links and it's still on attempt around 97k so I'am still trying...
But do u know if it's possible to copy the WHOLE boot partition without unlocking bootloader?
Oh wow! Didnt expect that it might take this long.
And no, sorry. But i doubt that its possible, otherwise some sneaky hackers would found that gloryhole already.

I have just successfully unlocked the bootloader lock by the Taobao service CNY30. It is done by PC remote control. My P10 phone (VTR-AL00) was firstly downgraded from my EMUI 9.1 to EMUI 5. Then the operation was very fast (ROM firmware loading time was long) & I can't see clearly. At last it was successfully unlocked & the guy gave me the unlock code also. If you guys want to do this, you need to ask a friend who know Chinese writing to chat on the net. Then I upgraded the phone using Huawei official upgrade from the phone to EMUI 9.0. Then I flashed the openkirin ROMs successfully. I've tried all four ROMs (RR, OMNI, AOSP, AEX). All of them have some bugs. One important one is the phone can't be charged when powered off. It will go to bootloader mode when plugged with the charging cable. You need to charge when the phone is on.
Install testpoint drivers ( https://files.dc-unlocker.com/share.html?v=share/18B15B9D02C945A79B1967234CECB423 - these worked for my p10 lite), enter download mode via testpoints then use PotatoNV - https://github.com/mashed-potatoes/PotatoNV , i just did this two days ago then installed twrp and rooted with magisk, fairly simple and insanely useful, only drawback is you need to open up your phone back cover to do it. Works without downgrading on Emui 8
THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT <3
I've succesfully opened my phone with dc unlocker
You may want to try the testpoint method. Worked like charm for me. Check potatonv git and YouTube..
Once we find the code, bootlocker unlocking factory reset it?
