I have recently experienced an issue that never happened before while playing demanding games. Basically, my a500 will seemingly randomly freeze on an individual frame of the game an the screen will start to flicker on and off. Audio and touch input from the screen still work as I can hear the sound effects made from touching the areas of the screen (gun firing etc.), however the screen refuses to do anything but flicker on the same frame until I force close the app from the task manager (it isn't even detected as unresponsive). This has taken place on NOVA 2 and MC3 as well playstation and n64 emulators. I just upgraded to Civato's flex jb so I'm not sure if its a compatibility issue with a500, but I seem to remember all of these apps working when I first upgraded so I'm not sure what gives now. Any help would be appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem with my Acer a500. It's incredible to see that it has passed more than a year and there still isn't a solution for this problem. Many a500 users say that it may be a memory problem. Since then, when I need to run some graphic demanding games or apps, I first stop some applications that are running.
My Gt3 does it on mupen too but only if I load state from slower game speed like 50 %

I need some help here.
Every time I pull out my OTG cable from my Nexus 7, the screen hangs and then proceeds to reboot. It's very annoying. This happens with my Xbox 360 controller and my USB flash drive
When I was on 4.1.x, this never happened to me.
I'm using PA beta 6 and Trinity Kernel
Does anyone have a solution?

Are you using stickmount? If so you should pull down the notification bar and touch stickmount to unmount the storage before unplugging. Also not all custom kernels and roms support all features. On stock, rooted it works perfectly.

It's never a good idea to remove peripherals from Linux systems without unmounting them first.
I'm not the lowest of the low, but I am the slowest of the slow. 49.6 mpg avg for 38k miles in non-hybrid Scion xB
I recently got a HDMI Micro converter so that I could plug my Nexus 10 into my TV.
Sound and video is fine (changed resolution to 1920x1080), but every game and even most menus are very laggy.
It's almost as if everything is rendered twice!
Games that normally run on high or medium barely run on lowest (Asphalt 8 for example).
But the second I unplug the HDMI cable, everything is back to normal.
I've tried everything I can think of to fix the issue, but I haven't found a solution yet.
Has anyone had this problem and found a solution, or does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?
installed full nougat on my shield 2015 16gb. tried mapping controller but i found that shooter games have terrible aiming problems and all games often crash if i minimize and open again. so i need touch screen in order to play and using my shield tv as a tablet...
SUGGEST ME ANY SOLUTÄ°ON...HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE. btw i have ipad mini 2 and i rarely play games on it (because majority of them crashes:/) so using its screen would be best for me
Looking to buy LYB android version, got any info on games like PUBG, bullet force, etc. On this tablet? Lag? Stutter?
I just installed it to do a little test. Pugh seems to be running fine on "smooth" settings (lowest). I only played for like 15 minutes or so. I also set it to balanced settings for a short while, and it seems to be ok to.
The sound has some stutters in the menu though.
i play it with a ps4 control and it works fine for me. root and "sixaxis controller" app required for remote.
Ya even I am gonna buy Lenovo yoga book Android...so wanted to check out that does it run smoothly....??
