So here it goes... people are always asking about how Live Wallpapers influence the battery consumption of the phone... in this case i tested on a Galaxy s3 i9300.
For this test i kept the screen on until the battery gone down to 30%.
This is how i made the test.
I used the Live Wallpaper Magic Bubbles, you can find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.apofiss.magicbubbles&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5hcG9maXNzLm1hZ2ljYnViYmxlcyJd
I think this LWP is good coded so there's no problem about that influencing the consumption of the battery.
I kept the brightness on full too. (100%)
To keep the screen on during all the process i also used the app, Screen On Toggler: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.malcolm.screenontoggler&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5tYWxjb2xtLnNjcmVlbm9udG9nZ2xlciJd
To keep the results fair as possible when doing the test Without the live wallpaper, i took a screenshot of it and then crop it and applied it as wallpaper so i could have the same colors coming out of the screen.
So this is all the details i think... the rom used was foxhound 1.7, although i think it doesn't matter.
This was the result then.

So as you can see its a big difference and yes the LWP has a big hit on the battery consumption... although of course you will not keep the screen always on.. this was just a test so i hope its helpful to you. Next time i will had a test but with a black background... or a darker background... to see the difference between a colorful BG and a darker BG.
Please post your opinions and thoughts...

I have the Wing with Itje's Touch IT 7.1PB running Ultimate Launch and battery status.
Does anyone know how I can get the wallpapers to be shown in real colours?

I'm just gonna guess and say the transparency level is set a little high instead of it being 0% to show the actual picture? When you set a wallpaper, it lets you set the level to where you want it (0-100%). The higher the % = the lighter the picture.
Yeah it was it but I didn't know how to reaarange it...Now I know it's in the picture and videos prog of the ROM
on your sd card or where ever the pictures are installed, select pic / menu / set as today background
im havin the same problem, but i cant adjust the transparency
set as background make sure transparency is set to 0%
I know the Vega is supposed to be cheap and the screen not the best but for what it is I really like it. However, I've noticed quite a few times now when I'll be doing something or when I pick certain things that I get lots of graphic artifacts on the screen in the form of long lines. It goes away as soon as I leave whatever made it happen and it is repeatable in some cases such as loading a profile image on TweetDeck.
I've got a badly shot blurry photo of the artifacts on the screen but it's clear enough to show what I'm referring to. If anyone has any information on this or, I hope not, think that this may be a problem that will get worse in time please let me know! I've intentionally left this as a full view of the screen to lower blurryvision, it's the lines all over the lower half or left half if held in landscape but this is pretty random and can be anywhere on the screen.

It is a known issue in the 1.08 version at least, and in the 1.09. They're bothersome, but I have never read that these artifacts can create any long-term problems on the device. There's no reason to panic AFAIK.
I thought the screen looked pretty good until I played this video and noticed the grass didn't look right. Then I played it on my XYBoard 8.2 and WOW what a difference! The XYBoard has an IPS screen just like the N7, so I'm not comparing it to a Super AMOLED, just another screen of the same technology.
I should mention that both are at max brightness. And it's not that the N7's screen is just brighter, because the whites on the XYBoard's screen are actually brighter than the whites on the N7's screen.
I'm wondering if there is some way to adjust the contrast and saturation...
XYBoard is top, N7 is bottom:

Happens after HD playback. There's a script you run to fix it. Also I would love some contrast and color control as well...

I too find that my nexus lacks contest and- to a lesser extent- saturation.

as per the other thread on this , if you are rooted and dont mind paying for the app here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.widgets.big.tegra.prism.toggle
it fixes it.. i noticed quite a difference..
Try a test-card image and you'll probably see that yellows, green and cyan are really weak. I'm pretty sure this relates to the badly calibrated screens mentioned here: http://www.displaymate.com/news.html#8 and all devices have it.
Hiya! A while ago I was using the AICP lollipop rom based on CM, and it had a setting that allowed me to calibrate the color of my screen. A long while back My screen has a very noticeable green hue to it, and i used AICPs color calibration to make it less green. Now that I switched roms (a lollipop touchwiz rom), this new one doesn't have color calibration. Is there any apps or mods that could give me that functionality? Thanks in advance.

There are some color options in Accessibility, I don't know is they will meet your needs but it's worth a shot.

So guys I'm kinda worried, I just got an s8 today and check this picture from contacts:
https://ibb.co/nLKobQ
As you see, the most left part (that is usually all black on most applications) is darker than the rest. Is your s8 like this as well or just mine? Not sure if its supposed to be like this or I should have it replaced. Thanks!

It's supposed to be that way. You can choose what color you want the navigation bar to be and the default is off-white.

Thanks! Was gettin worried...
That's normal though. As tharghan mentioned the navigation bar is off-white by default (which is sort of like a VERY light gray) and this helps prevent burn-in.
It's most likely not going to become an issue as soon as on other phones like the 6P and Pixel since the navigation bar and buttons consistently change color when you switch apps. If you notice the navigation buttons are white on the home screen but they turn dark gray once you go into an app.
