Freeze it with titanium backup if you don't use it. Though you might still notice it sometimes as it is linked with the play store, or something along those lines..

I don't I'm afraid..
Used to bug me as well, could never get rid of them all. It's not necessarily bad though, don't let it bother you too much. Don't let wakelocks bother you too much in general actually! They're part of the game.

How's your s-note response. I had to go to my backup because the lag was unacceptable...also, too lazy to do a reset.

S-Note was fine. I didn't feel like doing it either. Especially since it's not rooted and I used Carbon Backup to restore apps/data. It makes you go to the Play Store to download all your apps again.

this helped too with first update. havent done second update.(rooted)
You can't check for lag immediately after an Android update (and in a lot of cases, immediately after any boot). There's a LOT of activity (most of it being the Media Scanner) right after a boot (especially once the network connects) and since I/O is the reason for Android lag in most cases, that's when you'll see it the most.
Hi every body I have noticed a little bug that is driving me crazy, every time I launch the gallery and select my photos it take at least 5 seconds to load them and then I'm able to see my pics, but I don't know why is doing this, all my pictures are been saved in my sd card and my sd is a 32 gb class 10 and it supposed to be super fast but is not working like supposed to.
I just want to know if I'm the only one with this issue or every body have it and if some one have like a work around to solve this.
Thanks

my gallery does load slower than other apps, but not like 5 seconds, only like 1-2sec max. try clearing data/cache
Thanks I tried but I have the same result, is taking to long for load, any other suggestion?

This is a common issue on the stock touchwiz gallery. It does link up to many other galleries such as facebook, instagram and such, but even after disabling all the sync, it still continues to load up slower. I have a class 10 64GB SD card and it still took forever.
The one and only way it got fixed for me was to install this Google Edition rom and the gallery became instant. It sucks as a workaround but I couldn't find a way to fix it and it was annoying for a top spec phone...
Thanks for the advises I will check what else can be done

I've installed battery monitor from play store to check my battery capacity, Nexus 4 should have 2100mah battery but it only show 1500mah. I want to ask did my battery die or something? I've tested with Note II(3100mah) and HTC One X(1800mah) but all show the accurate reading.
What's the battery lasting you though out the day? Screen on time

But I could tell my battery seems drain more than last few weeks. I bought my phone for just 3 months long.

Is not a software issue, using the phone for 10 minutes in any aplication, and then the device go to 42/45 Celcius, is not software related

this is not what happens to me. the phone keeps cool.
its just that the chrome takes the most of the battery, and its like he's not hibernating anymore.
no heat issues..
Has anyone had an issue where the screen doesn't turn off on its own? I have mine set for 30 seconds, and it does for the most part. But I've had a few occasions when it didn't turn off on its own.

I saw that, but I didn't have any notifications at the times that this occurred.

This notification disappears when the G6 is turned off the Bluetooth, but on continuous display.
I have had this issue and discovered it was due to Nova privileges as Device Administrator for locking the phone. No problems now.
