Hello i need info or at least somebody tell me where to get info on how to flash the HTC XV6900 to Metro Pcs fro Sprint. I searched but could not find a definitely answer or a write up on how to do this.I just bough one from a guy on craigslist after reading it can be flashed and since my phone is dying anyway seem like the perfect moment.
I know i can pay someone else to do this but after my wife and 2 girls saw mine and watched a video on you tube of a flashed Touch they all want one so paying $60+ to get it flash plus the cost of each phone is not possible. Also there are people selling the software for flashing but i don't want to pay for something that may not work or maybe can't do myself after all.

Guys, read this link HERE it will help you out with what to read up on, what files are needed and where to get them and a step by step on what you will see when flashing
This is for a Custom WinMO 6.5 ROM from NFSFAN though so if you need something else you can still use it just some of the examples may not relate but the idea is still the same
As for the Linux user - do this via your wifes desktop (I love Linux just have Windows all over my house for work as well)

i am wanting to flash sprint htc 6900 to cricket
i am wanting to flash my vogue 6900 could anybody tell me the right way to do it it and for it to fully work(txt, pic txt, call, internet etc.) please i think i may have found how to unlock it and stuff but i want to make sure its right could anybody help. all the other threads i looked at was to flash the other htc's to cricket but not the 6900 could someone help.

People keep posting links to the HTC Elf/Elfin could someone use the steps to SIM and CID unlock their HTC Vogue using the steps for the Elf/Elfin without it bricking?
As of right now, there aren't any steps(that I'm aware of) for flashing/ CID unlocking the HTC Touch.
The best instructions I found were here. Just scroll down to where it gives instuctions for the Touch. There are even instuctions for flashing ROM via memory card(which I can tell you do work).
Basically you'll need the correct coke unlocker and the new ROM. First you flash the cokeman unlocker that matches your situation and then when that's finished flash the ROM. I recommend flashing the new ROM at least twice before you start using it. I flashed the new NFSFAN's v8 Windows 6.5 ROM three times and it's working way smoother than last time when I was running v7....which I only flashed once. The best advice I can give you is to have patience.

[Q] HELP NEEDED !! hd2 windows phone 7 zune software update???

i am wanting some help to do with my htc hd2 running windows phone 7 with the dft rom and mgldr and when i have my phone connected to my computer it brings up there is an update available but it always times out and i have tried rectifying the problem by downloading the windows phone support tool BUT this is where the problem is, i cant use this tool because the buttons on the phone have changed when the dft rom and mgldr have been installed and now i cant get my phone onto the connect to pc image screen for windows which is a black screen with the phone, cable and a laptop in it, the updates through zune will then be accepted it fails on the last step every time please help!!!! many thanks jamie.
Yes there is a update from Microsoft available for WP7 called NoDo. But a working adaptation of it for the HD2 is not available yet. It was a video released a while back showing NoDo copy and Paste feature working on the HD2 by the DFT. But it kind of seem to be holding out for the Mangoo update or something because a ROM that can either receive the update or has the update included in it has yet to surface that I know of.
So just to make sure you understand, you can not install the update no matter what you do right now. Unless you would like to jump in and steal the spot light for a minute and be the one that officially released said ROM. That is if you are so minded to do it, I personally would love to but I do not have the knowledge to do so yet.

Complete Omnia 7 meltdown

Hi guys !
This is my 4th time I am using this amazing forum to get get brick in to a phone. I've done it with One X , T989, T969 and now I am trying to do the same with Omnia 7
Here is problem. I see only Samsung Omnia 7 white logo ...that's it . IT's not even restarting. Right away I can say that I can get in to Download mode and that's pretty much it. I am not sure but is there an ODIN type tool for this device that I can just reflash it ? I do not care about what rom is it stock or not as long it's operational. If possible can you please send me to the right direction.
Thank you very much !

upgrading u20i (need assistance)

Hi guys, I'm new here. I recently bought new xperia mini pro u20i and I don't really like the old OS in it. Thought to upgrade to ICS but the problem is that I'm not experienced at all in these android update&upgrade things. (I'm mostly a computer guy ) I've read instructions how to upgrade etc.. but I'm not risking do it alone although I rooted my phone few hours earlier (whatever that means ) I need someone experienced to show me either on Skype or any other IM step-by-step how to upgrade my OS before I go crazy about it ICS seems like a cool upgrade and I want to try it out. Reply here or PM me, doesn't matter. Please just help me to accomplish this task. Appreciate it. Thanks in advance ))

Don't hold you breath. The non-existent support at Blu will ask you to reboot your device first. As if it has anything to do with it. Then they will tell you how important your business is to them, but that there's no plan on upgrading the OS of this device.
So I would suggest that all owners of Blu devices somewhat recent, ask for a 4.4.4 update. I hope this works for you in a near future.

Cheers and good luck.

There is some time that I'm searching for a ROM for this smartphone, but I did'n found any. I think that if you format your phone the problem will be resolved, make a backup before this. Sorry some error in my english, I don't speak very well
