OK so before starting I do know that there are apps that do this however I don't want two separate battery icons in my notification bar; its tacky and it makes to notification bat cluttered. What I'm looking for is a mod that is known to work with paranoid droid that shows battery percentage instead if the stock android battery.
Any ideas?

Hey guys, I am looking for a battery meter that displays the percent of juice left on the notification bar next to the clock. Any suggestions?

battery indicator
SysTray. Shows SD, memory and battery data and you can decide which one you want to see in the top left corner. In the notifications its fixed and shows all data at once. I love it!

how many apps do you have that notify you? i see a bunch in the status bar. they check for notifications in the background, which takes battery. also, even though you only have 1:25 screen on time, looks like youre device is awake more than half of the 12 hours unplugged. take control of your apps.
I can tell you that its not pa3, i was running pa3 with Franco kernel and averaged over 10 hours of heavy usage...plenty of screen time. Definitely take control of your apps!

Factory reset or better yet, flash anew, start from fresh new install. And don't install apps willy nilly. Research in depth before you install an app. Lots of apps these days constantly send data. Find out how to stop the chatter, if possible. Must install betterbatterystats and learn to use it, not that hard to do.

If you're rooted go to the App & Theme subforum and look for the thread on flashable battery themes. Over a dozen choices.

Not sure what you mean... I have it right here... lol
look at the top right in the circle where it says 89%, but yea it's a custom rom (and the option to pick how it looks is in Interface -> General -> Status bar, on my rom)
Edit: and yes, that's a screen off my Nexus 4, still the same rom and still the same option available.
I use Notification Toggle (free in Play) which puts shortcuts in the notification bar. It has several battery % options that display in the notification area showing 1% battery increments. No flashing required, just install from Play and configure the battery icon.

You don't usually see a "Pure AOSP" rom come with a device other than a Nexus. So if you're seeing it on all other 4.2.2 (that are not AOSP But whatever the manufacture made them as), it's just not a device thing, rather just getting familiar with AOSP Stock.
Hi!
Couldn't find any info if it is possible to display battery as percents in STOCK 4.3 ROM? (As seen in CyanogenMod ROM)
Thanks in advance,
Martin
There are apps that will show percentage, such as https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.darshancomputing.BatteryIndicator
Or there's a thread on XDA with a load of battery icon mods for 4.3. I'd send you the link but I cba searching for it when you can do it yourself

Has anyone had any luck changing their battery icon to any battery icon theme?? The only one I can get to work is in Wanam Xposed, and I don't really like it. I'm looking for a non-colored (battery and percentage text aren't always the same) theme that changes to yellow then red as the battery depletes.
The battery themer module in xposed isn't working for me.
TIA!!
If you are using beans or any rom with 1% battery mod then I have some working batteries in my real icon theme thread. If you dont have the 1% battery mod then dont bother because your numbers will be off. I have some non percent ones but havent ported them yet

They just fixed/updated the xbattery themer (xposed module) so that's working for me now.
