That happened and I fixed it by flashing a stock Rom that contained boot loader and pit the Rom wasn't from my region so I first tried to flash the pit and bootloader from that rom with my regions firmware but that didn't work so I tried with that rom from in its entirety several times and it eventually worked and fixed my problem I then flashed my regions firmware so I wouldn't have data problems which was also successful so I flashed Hyperion but now I can't get 3g it's stuck on edge
It's worth mentioning that I used the doky73`s galaxy toolbox that came with Hyperion to unlock my phone but I always unlock my phone though not by this method I usually flash unlock.zip but anyways could that be the problem if so how do I fix it

You tried flaring csc of your region ?
One more thing - there are no differences in bootloaders and pit files for different variants of firmwares - i use the same pit file and bootloaders with all Roms and it works fine for me . Haven't had much experience unlocking so can't comment on that stuff

The pit file that came with the rom was different it was called pit.pit and was larger than totoro pit file for our phone and yes I flashed the entire Rom from my region including csc
Edit:I don't know why but only my phone file flashed via odin my csc and pda didn't change I checked by pressing *#1234# is their anyway to flash them without odin

The problem has something to do with the multi csc that I flashed

I didn't really explain my situation well sorry. I went through all the steps to unroot my s4 but I ended up with slightly different firmware than what I originally had so wifi wont even turn on and kies does not detect the device at all. Right now I am reflashing to see if that helps.

The flash came up as fail on odin 3 times and I seem to be in the same place with no wifi. I found out the rom I got was not the correct rom because this one comes with alot more bloatware and some of the icons are different but it was the only one I could find that didnt fail when I downloaded it (I got suckered into trying to get a different one from the sites that have you pay for download speed).

Boot screen corrupted + many issues after softbrick fix ...

Hi all !
My phone Exynous N910Hwas bricked due to some stupid mistake i made about a month ago but somehow managed to fix it in odin ...
so here is the thing right now when i start the phone or reboot it instead of the samsung galaxy note 4 logo i get this ...

plus the kernal is not seandroid enforcing
and recovery is not seandroid enforcing
i also get lots of errors in twrp when trying to flash a rom ... error 1 and 7 and 225(could be255) i think if am not mistaken
trying to wipe the phone or do a factory reset gives me the error unable to mount storage ... trying to repair file system or changing it also same thing
the phone right now is running resurrection rom android 6.0.1 ... yes somehow despite all the errors i managed to flash that one rom
trying to flash DNS 0.5 rom ends up in a boot loop on that screen then to recovery after a few mins
after i fixed the bootloop i got hold of this firmware N910HXXU1COH4 and managed to flash it but the issues still remain even though i flashed it successfully
at some point i was running several roms using dual boot patcher snapshot and they worked and even dns worked when i flashed it in the app .
when i was fixing the brick i kept getting errors in odin something like nand flash error (been about a month since it happened cant remember the exact error)
think i must have clicked repartition or something and ended up with this mess at the start
so there ... what should i do to fix the phone ?
OK well can anyone share the latest stock firmware and pit file ?think it might fix it if I have the pit ...

yeah i cant find the last firmware on any site other than sammobile or samfirmwares and both have terrible download speeds (50kbps) ... and i live in SYRIA i get electricity a few hours each day and the download fails every time .
and for the pit file i found one on another post on xda which seemed corrupted here and i dont trust to download a pit somewhere else ...and i wouldn't want to risk hard bricking my phone with a bad pit file .
PS : i actually tried google before posting here ... and my post is to address the boot issue correctly as i am not sure flashing with the pit will actually fix it

your problem is not living in Syria. Your problem is:
how to use google?
with 15 minutes of electricity, you could have everything you want without opening a single thread:

Software upgrades without losing data and without explicit backups

I'm a big fan of upgrading my Android software without ruining my data. The problem with that is that my phone is rooted + encrypted. This is now the case with my Note 4 (N910C).
I used to get a similar configuration to work with my Note 3. There, I started with a specific lollipop image, and then root my device. Then, every time I hear about a new update, I reflash my device with that image, which removes SuperSU's binary and all other non-official stuff, and then I upgrade my phone using the official update. Then, after the update is successful, I reflash TWRP and SuperSU.
I would like to do the same with my Note 4, and I would just like to hear from you, experts, whether there could be problems with this for 2 reasons:
1- I have my internal memory encrypted (my /data partition)
2- I'm not sure what image Samsung Kies used. I believe if I reflash a different image, it could lead to problems.
After I tripped knox in my Note 4, I had to use Samsung Kies to recover my phone's software. I'm not sure what software is used that I can flash it again the same way I did with my older Note 3.
So my first question is:, the following is a screenshot of the about dialog in my phone:

Does this correspond with the following stock firmware image I found on SamMobile? How can I know for sure?
N910CXXU2COJ5_N910COJV2COJ2_ACR.zip
and my second question is: Does having an encrypted /data partition ruin my plan at all?
Thanks for any efforts
For FW:
Download Phone info app from play store, and find ur active CSC code.

Thank you very much for your reply and information. My CSC code is BGL. Now I'm downloading:
N910CXXS2CPB3_N910COXX2COJ2_BGL.zip
Based on what you said, this should be the original that I currently have. Now hopefully I can flash and not worry about messing anything.
What about encryption though? Do you think it would ruin anything when I reflash because my /data partition is encrypted?

Thank you for your response. Perhaps I misrepresented myself there. When I used to do this with my Note 3, I never used Kies (which is why I never lost my data). I always used ODIN. The time I used Kies is recently. It's because my Note 4 completely stopped working and responding and I couldn't even access the Download Mode. It said to connect it to Kies for recovery, but I don't plan to do this again unless I must. My plan is to flash my Phone with ODIN when I want to do upgrades.
Disabling encryption is not a problem-free operation, especially when root is enabled. A failed encryption/decryption operation guarantees that data is lost. This is actually the reason why I needed to use Kies in the first place.
That's why I would like to know whether flashing with /data being encrypted could have any negative impact on the data.

just got my edge and ya.... i brokeded it

so i followed the instructions here on how to flash 935U to my verizon variant and i cant get the ODIN process to work. keis and smart switch tell me my phone isnt supported because i tried to restore the phone.. help please. i followed the instructions which are simple to follow. i put my phone in download mode. started odin and loaded all the files and it failed. what can i do now.. waiting for the stock firmare to dowload now but its taking forever
oh and just incase this is why. im on a mac running windows 10 bootcamp. maybe i dont have some drivers needed ?
Head to sammobile and get the official 935v firmware again, or download through samfirm. Make sure you have ODIN 3.12 and leave the phone unplugged and in dl mode. Unzip the fw files and place them in the appropriate boxes (bl, ap, cl, csc) and once they are all in Odin plug your phone in. If the box goes blue as recognized you are hits to press start. Tart will get you back to original asks try again.
And get a pc, lol
thanks for the reply
i have a pc but i am at school for 2 months without it.. i booted windows just to get by for now.
i downloaded the firmware from sammobile and it may have been currupt becasue it didnt work as well. i am worried but i dont think its hardbricked. i just cant seem to figure out why i cant flash the 935U FW

I wouldnt worry about U. Get V back up and then there is whole separate U thread here with a lot of tweaks. If anything else, look at the PH1 firmware thread (may be under beta thread) and try flashing that, then update to PI3.
are there steps i am not informed on like do certain files need to be in folders together or do i need to run something that was left out in the instructions? i have rooted and flashed with odin before and it always seems to be an interesting experience to say the least. but seriously im getting soooo pissed off right now
yeah tried odin 3. 12 with stock firmware.. put the home file in and the other 3 files in the right places.. still failed.. any other advice?
putting all these files on a flash drive and taking them over to a regular pc to see if this helps.. im really at a loss. this should be EASY right now seriously easy. how am i screwing this up!
tried another computer... didnt work. tried different files and methods.. nothing works.. tried verizon repair tool...joke..... tried everything.
It sounds like Odin/PC is not seeing the phone when it's plugged in. Do you have the Samsung drivers loaded?

it was seeing it when i plugged in.. and it would say so in the log.
suprisingly the verizon repair tool brought it back to life. it restored it to factory settings and firmware.. i want to root but im worried it wont take again

I'm not trying to suggest anything bad by this but did you boot to download mode?
Verizon repair tool fixed it. I dont why the flashing didnt work. I spent too much time. Im not rooting this ****

I have some t350's with issues recovery/MDM/black screen and bootloops

I recently found at the dumps a box of t350's 6/18 didnt like combination flashing the mdm away/new firmware install. 3 failed the same way while putting on newest firmware with odin now they say mdm mode in odin again and i have no debug access. 1 black screens in bootloader and when booting no debug access mdm mode in odin again. BUT ! I have 1 with debug access and see it in ADB BUT it fails to install due to signature verifcation of the ROM's I've tried. I think the later is savable EZ just need a a little help getting TWRP onto it I guess and I'm good. I'll worry about the others later but any ideas ? my brain hurts from trying cables/roms/adb versions lol
Maybe the rom is incorrect have you checked the region and model number etc?

hmmmm how can i fix it ?
It could be hardware issue, I'm not sure how to fix hardware issues. Thats probably the reason they were all together in a box.
no they where in a box because they came from a school and they didn't take knox off, there was 1000+ of them I just grabbed a tray full they have these crazy polycarbonate cases on them too with security screws. they all worked until i flashed knox away with varying results 12/18 working fine 18 worked prior but in knox
Oh that info is noted.
May I help you later. Its pretty late and I have to get off.
Ill help in the mornin
