I'm not sure but I think some custom ROMs include this.
It's been a while since I used those ROMs but I think parandroid includes that feature

AOKP offers this option.

Really trying to stay with the rom I'm on. I was able to change the soft keys manually and was hoping there would also be a manual way to do this.

Sorry.. Maybe you should be asking this in your ROM thread.

I'm on CleanROM and would like to stick with it. There has to be a manual way to do it. :banghead:

On stock Jb and ics on the Gnex, I remember being able to adjust the brightness by sliding forward or backward on the status bar.. For the Nexus 4 did they remove this? Or do we have to enable it somehow ?
I also miss this..

This was never a feature in stock. Custom rooms like cm10 and aokp had this feature

Ib seen you can get tablet ui on the nexus 7, ib look around for like mod for the navbar so its like tablet ui but no luck.
Does anyone has a way i might have missed to move the navbar to the side?
Its not comfortable where the home button is located in a big tablet like this one :\

If you're up to flashing a ROM, try paranoidandroid. They've brought back tab ui and also allow you to set the ui and DPI for each app independently.

FWIW... I'm on Thundercat from 12/27/2013 and it has a Nav Bar Left/Right/Center option. The ROM performs perfectly for me, too.
As I saw someone changed the 3 button to red color , is it a apps or rom ?
Thanks!

It's the apk modification. This can be done in many custom ROM and via zipthemer or metamorph for those who had stock ROM or just a rom that doesn't support it. Both ways, you must be rooted and must have stock recovery.

you mean the navigation buttons?, paranoid android does it.

I am running the latest AOKP in tablet UI mode and hate the menu button. I am wondering if there is a way to change to the three dots.

Should be able to swap it for what you want in the systemui/res/drawable-hdpi folder I would imagine.

How do I get all these cool emotions I always see on instagram? Is it an iPhone only thing? I'm running on stock ROM and I'm not rooted. Also I use stock Google keyboard.

It's called "emoji" and you must have a rom that supports emoji in order to use them and no it's not icrap specific
