So yesterday I charged my nexus & the battery dropped just 1 % in six hours. Very good,I said. Before going to bed I chatted on gtalk & read some news on the internet and I left the nexus with about 80% .this morning the battery was 65% and in the image is clearly visible that something is waking up the device, forcing it to stay on. What can I do to find this app? I was thinking about monitoring with system panel

I will try that, thanks. Anyway what do you think about the stats that I've posted ?

it seams like tablet didnt entered speep mode for some reason, may be an app keeping it awake.
betterbatterystats would be best option to indentify ur problem source.
also install watchdog if u think some app is using too much cpu.

Having battery woes?
no matter what ROM you are on, these simple steps will help with debug.
Install CPU spy and badass battery manager.
Start the apps and reset statistics.
Let phone run for a few hours.
Open CPU spy.

See deep sleep?
An idle phone should be spending most of the time in this state.
If so, you are fine. All is well.
If not open Badass.
Here click on the bottom line which shows app usage.
Here is what you see. Kernel is at the top for me as there are no rogue apps.
If your device is not going into deep sleep and kernel is the one taking most CPU, it can be ram issue
NOTE : THIS method is android generic. Not specific to note.

I had Facebook show up under kernal because it was accessing my GPS. I use better battery stats which offers a really good way to show you what is using your battery. badass didn't help in that case, it only showed that the kernal was using the battery because GPS falls under it. Better battery stats showed me it was the GPS and then it also showed me that my router wouldn't let me phone sleep, so a static IP fixed it.
Badass is nice, but it's very generic when it comes to android specific functions that are being called upon. It's only good to show apps that are using the processor, not the functions or processes that the apps are calling up if they do so.
Regardless, thanks for the how to guide.

Why doesn't exist
We should email snapdragon app devs to incorporate it
Google Voice via my r72 NeXus⁴ using XDA Premium
Spare Parts kind of does this
I just drop by with the same question. As usual ,a 10 years old laptop able to read a battery wear status.
In other words, after years of improvement on android , there's no battery wear status like it ?
And again , a hard question for dev too ?
chances are that youll long change phones before the battery starts showing wear.
Still no app of this kind?

Battery Monitor Widget shows a lot of these stats, in its Calibration tab: measured capacity, ageing, voltage.
Stock ROM. Rooted and nothing else. How can I fix deep sleep?

One of your apps is keeping your phone awake. You need to check your wake usage to determine which app is causing the wakelock. Facebook and Google now are some of the biggest culprits. There are several battery saving threads here that will help you save battery.

You use greenify and greenify all suspicious apps.
I agree but its always good to know your problem apps.
Sent from my LG-D802 using Tapatalk
I don't use greenify

Then use it! It's a great app.

Tap other and change to partial wakelocks. SS and post. May as well check this out as well. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2453850

Have you been playing asphalt? If not the app is misbehaving and you may need to force stop it.
WiFi seems high as well. Have you turned off wifi scanning? That's helped a lot of people I think.

Gaming uses a lot of battery and more so when is a high end one. So the drain is normal.
Sent from my XT1562 using Tapatalk
Well, i can't tell for sure why you have that drain, but you seem to be using LTE+Location. Both use tons of juice from your battery. High end games also drains a lot of battery. I suggest you to check what is waking your phone from sleep and force close it, or just use greenify.
So this has been happening kinda recently. Samsung Battery info and GCAM are showing 2 different stats from full charge. What is the case? And which would be most accurate?

I noticed the same thing happening on my Sprint GS7E. I emailed the dev but no response, no updates to app. I think the SOT from Settings is more accurate.
Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
Have been noticing the same. Sometimes after soft reboot the gsam monitor starts reading the percent o from from reboot time whole the screen on time and phone awake time remains the same and is not updated after soft reboot

Surely it has to be the latest number that is correct? One of them is losing count leaving the other correct.

I'm not sure! I was thinking maybe I needed a factory reset because something may have been causing this error in reporting different SOTs
