So I have the 16gb nexus 7 and after checking my storage it says I have 796mb of photos and videos. The thing is though I have a total of 9 photos that are all no bigger then 1mb each and no videos at all. I'm really confused as to how its saying I have used all this space when I haven't.

Have you restarted recently? Sometimes that clears recently deleted files etc. Also, check out DiskUsage as it shows you what files are taking up the space.

Hi,
I noticed that Facebook app does not show timeline view on a person profile when using it in Nexus 7. It worked fine on my Galaxy Nexus running the same ROM (CNA 3.1.0). Any help? Below is my screenshot from both device.

Rejoice? lol
Could just be that Facebook didn't give timeline instructions to appear with this dpi. If you're rooted try changing your screen density, or give paranoid Android a shot and see if that does anything to make it appear.

I believe the FB tablet app needs a lot of work.
The Nexus 7 8GB seems to have (according to screenshots) about 5,9 GB space free for Apps/Media after loss due to formatting and the android system.
Can any1 provide evidence on how much space the Nexus 4 really has left for free use? (screenshot e.g.). I guess for at least 5,5 GB but i would like to be sure before buying.
//EDIT: Screenshot of Nexus 7 http://www.phonearena.com/image.php...memory+and+no+micro+SD+card+slot"&kw=&popup=1
The Nexus 4 has 5.67GB available memory.
The image is attached to confirm this.

I was wondering if anyone here knew a way to change the save directory of any of the many Google Camera's
Having a lot of problems with Samsung Camera so I prefer this one

However the only problem I have with this Camera is it only saves to Internal memory by default and can't seem to find a way to change that so I can save every picture I take to my External SD Card.
I'm currently using the Omega ROM V3.0 and using the Google Camera that is optional in the Aroma Installer and have frozen the stock Samsung Camera.

Hey y'all I was wondering if anyone knows what the deal is with the internal storage. When I enter the menu for storage it says the 6.2 GB of misc files but when I tap it it uses the stock file manager. I don't see any files in there that come close to that. I can't find it with a root browser either. I'm just wondering.

That + everything listed below will give your total.

Thanks LeftyGR. Damn that seems like an awful lot of memory space. My last phone didn't use that much.

Hey guys,
I have some lag issues with my nexus 7. It is really slow and i have 4 or 5 apps installed. I just updated to Android 5 and it is still lagging, i already cleared the cache partition from the recovery menu.
Here is a screenshot of the storage - isn't this strange (the system part only 1% free...) ?

Is this causing the lag? If yes - how to fix this and free some space?
If you have root you can move the YouTube, email, and play movies apps from the system/app folder should give you 15Mb free. As far as I know it won't help the lag, I just did it because after I installed busybox it was saying I had 0% left.. Then my ocd kicked in
