Best video convert I've ever come across is WinAVI All In One
I'm currently using uRex DVD ripper that I got for free from http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/
If you go there now, there is a free Engelmann i-Studio 6 and Android Converter
Good luck
thanks guys :good:
I use free make video converter its the best I think

Why convert, just install MX Player. It is free and plays anything. The bonus is you do not need different versions (original and coverted copy on your PC)
Wonder share video

This is free today

It's iStudio 6 and has an android converter. I haven't used it, I just happened to see a post about it somewhere and decided to give it a shot.

Because no matter what framerate will suffer. And it is much more battery friendly to use GPU render in then software.

OK I've spent most of the day looking into this with minimal success.
As there are some great sales on today I've been and got an lg smart TV.
To get the nexus 4 to connect I need the smartshare app but as I live in the UK it says it's not available over here yet .
So I've been searching on XDA today and found the smartshare apk and installed it but it won't open .
Can it work any help much appreciated.

Bubbleupnp is also another good one. Will let your phone be either a remote choosing streams from a dlna server to a dlna receiver. Or as a server itself stemming phone content to a receiver

Are there any apps out there that will allow me to stream my phone to a computer, preferably mac? Is it even possible?

That works for video and music but I was hoping to stream games to my computer, but I can't currently see any programs to do it.
You can try MirrorOp. Please Google "MirrorOp".
In KitKat if I click an mp4 link it starts up the video player in the pic.
But in JellyBean, without flash installed, it would ask me which video player I wanted to play the video in.
Is there any way to get that choice of video players for mp4 links in KitKat?

Hey, you can reset your default apps, or use ES file Explorer to change just that one. I'm sure there are other ways and file explorers, but that's the way I do it, so I know that does the trick.
