Hey guys. I just noticed a friend who had an iphone 5 and he had a pretty neat bumper case on it. It had a clear back plastic piece that went over the back cover of the phone. Now "Griffen" does make the cases but i went on their site and couldn't find anything for android phones other than the s3. Nothing on amazon or ebay either. Seems like an awesome accessory since it is not bulky and actual will protect and show off the back of the n4 at the same time. If anyone could provide any links to a similar product that would be great!
Right now only poetic bumper and Official bumper for Nexus 4,
and some replica of official bumper coming from China.
No more choice now, and there is already tons of bumper threads around here..

I think what is meant is that there are limited bumpers available for the nexus 4

Your title is misleading, the case you are describing is not a bumper case. it is a clear case with coloured sides.

I got the white one of these the back isn't transparent its closer to the back of an atmosphere case just not as fuzzy as the atmosphere case

but i did see the pic and it's sort of similiar to what my friend had but the back was a lot more transparent. it was more like a plastic piece that fits between the bumber on the back and has cut outs, thats all. I have a black one I picked up from GameStop today in the US. It has the exact same markings as him, where it says BRN. I couldn't find anything else that might tell the color. The Nexus does look pretty black though, so I can't be sure.

OK, I just got more information. Apparently there are two different models: brown and black:
Canada Brown Model : NEXUS7 ASUS-1B16-CB. USA Dark Gray Model: NEXUS7ASUS-1B16.
Can someone with a black model post a picture of the sticker on the box? I'd like to compare it to the brown one.

Yup I'm going to and I think its right to say see ya to you guys because you guys were awesome and I will probably come back here and then. I just hope that the epic lives a little longer. Anyway I wanted to thank the hard working devs that need to be thanked, all of em. Oh I got the galaxy nexus I was looking at it for a while and 50$ is worth it to me. 50$ more for a lighter, Bigger screen size lol 1" but it looks wider than Nexus. I honestly think the S3 Would outlast and outsell the Nexus. As well the S3 has more features if I'm not mistaken. What about the whole AOSP thing with Google?

It's just not "officially" supported for AOSP builds directly from them. Doesn't mean they aren't built or perfectly stable like the one I'm on now.

I can't even look at my Epic anymore. It's like the ex that let herself go and is begging you to come back while you're dating a wonderfully amazing, smart, funny, fun, awesome, insanely hot sex freak that's madly in love with you and you feel the same.
So I'm giving it back to Sprint for a $54 credit since they don't care that my screen got all messed up by sand the last day before I upgraded while I was at the beach with my girl.

Staying a while in China and want to buy a original N7.
Does somebody have advices to identify a fake N7?
Been on android since 3 years. Cheap fakes are easy to identify but I'm uncertain if I can can identify good quality fakes.

Ok I know this thread is a bit old but I just got Nexus 7 from **** Smith's in Oz and the buttons are on the wrong side!!! Power button and volume rocker are on the top left if the camera is on the top. All pictures I've found show the buttons on the right. Someone please tell me I haven't got a rip off...I'm super confused!!!

Sorry, but it sounds like you've bought a turkey. My condolences.
The volume rocker buttons and the power button are located at the upper right hand edge of the Nexus 7.
And it should have the words 'Nexus' and 'Asus' inscribed on the rubberised back.
On mine, there is a transparent sticker (also on the back) just above the USB charging port, with the devices serial number.
Hope you can get your money back.

That is done so you can wave out the car window with your right hand, and still continue to operate your tablet while driving in Australia.
Either that or it is a fake.

I just found a cracks close to the camera and yes its like hairline, so I called them for an exchange but out of luck cause there is no more phone left

No noticeable seams or lines around the edges on my phone.
No dude there seams are u kidding me? My phone has them same spot just not as pronounced guarantee every phone has them.... How do you think they fused that piece of plastic

Dude my line is in the same exact spot as yours. You think that's just a coincidence?
Anyone suggest I try to return for another, I know waiting another one would be a long process. The seam or crack doesn't flex or move.

I have two seams at both top corners... they aren't cracks. For those who are saying you don't have it: you do. It's not easy to see and you aren't looking hard enough or in the right lighting.
OP, I don't know what it means to you, but I want to assure you that this is a result of the manufacturing process and not a crack. Both of my seams are at the exact same height but on opposite top corners. Unless this is a fundamental structural issue, I don't think each phone produces hairline cracks at the same spot, and so cleanly (it should straight and perpendicular to the plane of the phone).

I like my Moto X better than my HTC One google play edition because I can actually hold it in my hand! the One feels like a slippery bar of soap when I hold it after owning a moto X for the past 2 days. I'm glad I no longer have to use hand gymnastics on my cell phone.
