[Q] Eye-Fi with a Nexus 10? - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently bought the Eye-Fi 16GB Pro X2 SDHC Class 10 Wireless Flash Memory Card which does a great job with my 5D MkIII and Nexus 4.
It works so well out in the field that I bought the Nexus 10 for the much larger viewing screen.
I haven't got it working yet on the Nexus 10.
When I sign in to the Eye-Fi app on the Nexus 10 I get a screen that says DISABLE "Avoid Poor Connections".
The Nexus 10 does not have that option while the Nexus 4 does.
Any suggestions?
EDIT - SOLVED!!
Eye_Fi explained the solution in their forum. Now it works perfectly. As I shoot with my DSLR the photos appear fullscreen on the Nexus 10.
There were steps that I had missed in the Eye-Fi app to tell it to send to the N10 instead of the N4. Once I did that it was fixed.

Is there anyone moved from galaxy s2 to tab 2 7?

For me, the move from 8mega pixels to a 3.2 does feels like a downgrade so as the 8gb internal space. So if anyone have moved from s2 to tab 2 7, have you ever "man, I miss my S2"? thanks:laugh:
Also how is the camcorder? I don't care if it can't go 1080p but the picure quality is more important to me.
I moved from LG Optimus 3D to Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 3G.
The camera is mediocre but this is a tablet after all. The camera is by far better than the cameras of most tabs I've seen so far and is OK for occasional shooting in good light conditions.
So far I'm perfectly happy with tha Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. I was a bit sceptical that I can use it as a phone but it works amazingly good. So no more carrying around 2 devices. That was the main point in buying it anyway
Yeah it's also lacks in auto focus and flash but it's has good spec and worth for its money I'm soo happy and satisfied except that camera thing

The tab 2 doesn't have super amoled thing, so It's a no go. So It definitely a downgrade to me. Maybe I'll wait for the galaxy note 10.
Moved from my SGS to this Tab as I've already had a Asus TF101.

[Q] Custom made Nexus 7

To start off, I'm new here.
Just ordered my nexus 7 and supposed to be here on Monday.
But for a while I've been asking myself, what would I do if I could make my own tablet.
I wanted to ask you all and see your ideas.
So if you had any budget, how would you customize your own tablet?
Screen?
Processor?
Memory?
Any options such as size, ports, camera, etc.
Hope everyone has some interesting ideas!

Why not go in offtopic instead of opening such a useless thread in general. Has nothing to do with nexus 7

Photo Quality: Nexus 4 vs HTC One X

Hi everyone,
We know the Nexus 4 is a spec beast over the HTC One X (At&t 2012 model), but in terms of photo quality (outdoor),
is the Photo quality of Nexus 4 (with Camera Mods) still loses compare to the HTC One X (stock) ?
If anyone can provide a video or a photo sample links, I would appreciate that.
I tried searching in google and youtube, but most photo samples are comparison of Htc One (2013) and Nexus 4 (no mods).
Mods? If are you talking about the uncompress image mod for nexus 4; that doesn't make a huge improvement.

Sunlight Readability

I decided before I got rid of my Note 8.0 for the TabPro 8.4 I'd do a couple photos. But of course I can't link to the full gallery yet. Basically, the 8.4 is a tiny bit less readable in sunlight than the 8.0. But the difference is barely noticable. Both are a bit better than the iPad Mini Retina and a bit worse than the Nexus 7 2013. The 2 photos attached were taken with slightly different camera settings, so don't compare them between the photos, only within the same photo.
Thanks for this. It doesn't matter to everyone, but some of us look for this feature. That's one reason I kept the N7 FHD over the LG Gpad whose size and build I preferred. The screens on both the Tab Pro and iPad mini 2 look fantastic I'm the store.

I'm pretty sure the Tapatalk app is compressing these. They look much better in the photos app.

I have the iPhone 6+ and Note 4 around; I've used the Nexus 6 camera for an hour (indoors only). From what I used it is slower and not as well balanced than the iPhone 6+ camera. Note 4 was just as fast as the Nexus 6, maybe a bit faster.
Both the iPhone 6+ and Note 4 have far, far better software for the camera app and thus they both take far better photos (for a smartphone) compared to the Nexus 6. In low-light the Nexus 6 performs like a Galaxy Nexus (which I've used often) compared with the iPhone 6+ and Note 4. There are many tests which show how bad the Nexus 6 is in low light, especially without flash.
From my limited experience it was ok but noticeable worse than the iPhone 6+ and Note 4. If you were testing all three together in a store, you would see the difference.
Potentially if someone creates a new camera app with far better software in the app - puts it for sale on the PlayStore (so you don't need a rooted phone to use it) - the Nexus 6 camera could be much better. As it is the stock camera app post-processing software is terrible compared to other flagships. The current cameras on the PlayStore (that I've used) do not get the best out of the N6 camera either.
From what I know the camera hardware in the N6 is comparable to the Note 4 so theoretically it can match the photo quality of the Note 4 in all conditions. The software though is not comparable.

Note 4 has sony exmor imx 240 which is the newest sensor from sony that's why note 4 is the top dog nexus 6 has imx 214 sensor which is the same as one plus one but takes far better pictures than one plus one . we gonna see new amazing third party apps soon since lollipop camera api has been released from google.

Great thanks for the confirmation on the sensors; then the Nexus 6 will never compete with the Note 4 or iPhone 6+ on the camera front, it will always be a step behind. When they said 'premium, no compromises' I think they were joking. I honestly expected it to at least match the Note 4 with camera tech for the price. Worse screen I expected, but not the camera tech.
The Nexus 6 is essentially a Note 3 with a faster processor (but you probably wouldn't notice due to the encryption) and stock Android. Ideally should be priced like a Note 3 then...
I was at the LA Auto Show yesterday. Here are some pics I took.

I had note 4 for a week and it lag like hell everything seems slow motion compare to nexus 6 thats the reason I sold note 4 on the front facing camera it could compete with iPhone 6 plus but not with note 4 cause it has 3.7mp wide angle lens.
