There is port only for Mozart, Titan, Radar, Trophy, Pro and HD7. I saw only one WP7.8 RTM ROM for Surround: [Cerebellum ROM] HTC Surround 7.8 RTM Build 8858

I want to have exactly the same rom like we can found by default on HTC HD2 Leo? What room i have to choose?

hello all,
i just wanna share my experience with DFT 7720V1 Custom ROM.
i did the following step:
1. run DFT_RSPL_WP7FG2_LAUNCH.exe, so i got RSPL on my surround device
2. run DFT_HSPL_WP7FG2_INSTALL.exe, so i got HSPL on my surround device
3. Flash the custom rom: Mondrian_DFT_V1_USA_CHT_CHS_JPN_KOR.7z
4. Flash spl_1.52_502: spl_1.52_502.rar
5. apply mondrian_2250.21.40500.502.cab using WP7 Update Cab Sender(xboxmod-Yuki 2011)
6. done
finally i have dev unlocked official mango on my htc surround device
fyi: htc mondrian = htc surround

I did the same to My Surround .
I get other surround but it has a 4.XX SPL and i can't install any ROM... urg!!
But DFT Roms rules!!!!
if you want to install another rom, you need to flash the stock rom RUU_Mondrian_Cingular_US_1.03.502.07_5.51.09.06_22.30.50_RELEASE.exe
and then DFT_RSPL_WP7FG2_LAUNCH.exe and then DFT_HSPL_WP7FG2_INSTALL.exe
after that, you can flash another custom rom again

you can unlock your phone and flash any ROM (better flash WP7.8)

My friend bought HTC Trophy (T8686) unlocked GSM phone from France and he gave me as a gift. My phone has Dark Force Team WP 7.5 version. I would like to update the phone from Microsoft Windows 7.5 to Microsoft Windows 7.8. I tried microsoft zune trick but it not worked for me and also I tried through WIFI in my phone but it not showing any updates. I would like to update genuine WP 7.8 so please help me where can I download the genuine WP 7.8 ROM so that I can update the phone. There are so many branded ROM's available on net but I don't know which one is compatible to my phone.

Your Trophy is the regular Spark edition, I'd recommend you install the Dynamics ROM.
