These "I am not sure but want to be the first posting this news" threads are starting to consume a lot of time for me and I am sure many other readers.
I am aware of the many stickies, but...
A sticky thread stating that any information posted should be well-checked and check-able trough at least one credible outside link would not be a bad thing.
And while we are at it, the sticky could also remind people to read two, no make that three, times exactly what is written instead of posting the n'th "I did not read the information very well and therefore read what I would like to read instead of what actually is written" thread.

Is it still on for this week? I've seen no news about it since the initial reports weeks ago.

I saw jelly bean official and got excited x_x anyway if all goes well then yes this Wednesday unless they didn't fix the bugs of course then they will delay it more..

Lol, confirmed? Sure if you call one website quoting the other confirmation

Fact if it does indeed start its roll-out on xx day that does not mean you will get the update that day or even that week or month come to that .
Roll-out is usually on an area basis to start with .
Phone vendors will not push out the update until they have checked it and modified as they want .
Actually that should not be a problem for any XDA member as we don't use Kies or OTA updates or vendor supplied firmware .

hell it doesnt matter who gets it first, we can all flash who ever gets it. I am definitely looking forward to the day i get it and my wifes iPhone gets the ios6 update because she will see why google is more important. No Gmaps, or Youtube haha!

Lh7 seems about 99% finished to me. Even if it doesn't come for another two weeks let's be grateful that jellybean is so close for us. I don't see any jellybean leaks being posted over at the one x forums.

I still think that they should test it quite thoroughly before releasing it. Much longer than 2 days. More like test it for two months.No rush, HTC seems to be nowhere close and even if they were, them releasing it first won't change much.

This afternoon I managed to download OTA Jelly Beans for my new SIM free S3. I only received my S3 today and able to update it stright away. It seem to work well.

y worry for an update when a leak has already come months back! and people have made so may good Custom Roms based on it (with all features working) 4.2 is what we need to worry about actually cuz even if the update comes through its gonna be almost the same as the jb leak - (at least when it comes to the features) but it still wont have the latest additions like Sphere camera which is on 4.2

Who needs to wait when we already have the Neatrom by sale
