Many know Goatrip Rom of his old S2, we could talk to Goa to cook for the S3. The only condition is that we only buy a device to help him. Therefore, we have designed a fundraising campaign and already received some donations. Who wants to support him also to have the hottest Rome for his S3 simply a pm to me because of the donation link. mfg Febreze

So it's just another TW based rom, tell me what would make it stand out from all the other TW based roms we have? Because I see nothing.
Goa changed very much in the smalis to allow a very fluid Rom. In addition, he has to change some mods eg Transparents directly in Rom to flash without. You can flash to change icons without that same for the status bar. It also offers different Lockscreens that Rome has no other where you can change, for example in the AOSP style shortcuts. Excuse my bad English
Sounds like stock rom with jkay to me...
What I would donate for on the other hand. .is for jazzk to get an s3..totally made aosp apps run on touchwiz base like caller screen / answer screen and everything visible.NOT theme but actual aosp stuff...used his rom on my s2 and I couldn't find anything that said it was touchwiz..really awesome stuff! There was no themebugs etc because it was not a theme

I started to code a small widget collection to make good use of the nice HTC Desire flash led as flashlight and more...
At the moment only one App Widget is ready for testing, more widgets and configuration options are in the works.
(also works on standard ROMs, no root required)
If someone wants to give it a try:
While in configuration the led is on so you can check how bright your choosen level is.

WARNING: Be carefull about long time operation on all but the lowest brightness level as overheating may kill your led
*Changelog*
- fixed problem with non-functional widget on screen rotate or HTC scene change
- Added haptic feedback/vibrate option to widget configuration
- Widget options now persistent
- Reset widget on Power-/Screen-Off
- Added configuration activity to control torch brightness
- Added a HTC widget style version
*Known issues*
- HTC kernel needed with Froyo-ROMs (e.g. LeeDroid)

I'm liking it so far, the simple on off from the widget is preferable to a program. Thanks f3d0r
Brilliant. Simple. To the point.
Is it possible to do another widget (different program) that does the LED light at FULL power ?
Thanks.
I like the idea. I don't like the icon. And could be brighter?
Screens...
I tweaked the icon a little bit by adding some padding, more sophisticated icons may be following
Does this app require a rooted desire or will it work on any old desire?
UPDATE: Tested it out on my unrooted desire and works fine . Awesome app been looking for one for since i got the desire, i tend to lose things hehe....
A small comment on the request for more brightness:
In full-power/flash mode the led would overheat quickly without extensive cooling (which the desire lacks for sure). The rsult would be a dead led in very short time.
However, a "Boost" widget which switches the led to full power mode for a few seconds will be added next.
I'm keeping this version, I like the slightly larger icon and I dont need a boost
thanks again
and again x
I love the widget as it is, thanks!
Very nice, love it - will it be released on the market?

In fact the Widget does not request any permissions in it's manifest but this seems to be an issue of android backward compatibility:
code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=4101
However, as we don't need this I have fixed the issue by specifying a Min SDK requirement in already updated APK.

+1 for anything that makes it brighter and also Strobe effect ... etc etc.
Thanks
Excellent work
The Widget works well. Maybe make a way to lock screen when you turn it on so you don't accidentally hit other stuff when you're using the light. When I use a light I am usually not paying attention to what I am hitting on the screen. lol.
How did you get screenshots of your phone with Android? I haven't seen any apps that let you do it without root access.

New update v2.0 FINAL
-Tabs on phone fixed

Looks like a good work, thanks! I just didn't get the BG images, seems more almost everywhere is transparent? Phone widget too? In that case there would be a way to go back without this transparency?
Besides that I think it's very nice, going to try it tomorrow (right now going to bed), and I come back with my thoughts =)
FYI.
I posted your theme over at DF cause it's slick and I'm sure they will love it over there. Thanks for this.
Nice theme, thanks a lot!
I only have one issue:
- The menubar + notification area is still the one from CM 6.1 (0.05-10.12.27)
Can you please help me out with that? Thanks a lot in advance!
Edit: After resetting all tweks in the CM settings and restarting my Milestone, the menu bar is black, but without transparency and the text on the menu bar is also black. I have selected the "Ginger" theme in the settings.
Weird. Transparency is only enabled if you Disable wallpaper hack or set a LiveWallpaper. For the colors, set them manually if the xml doesnt work.
I'm using LauncherPro as my default launcher, if that helps. Where can I enable/disable the wallpaper hack? I guess it's a ADW setting, right?
Thank you for your answer!
Edit:
When I pull down the notification area, the right side of the menu bar gets gray, but the left side stays partly black (it's where the date should be, but I haven't modified the text color yet):

Is that a bug?
Nope. If i put transparent background to date its unreadable because the bg content
I see, thanks!
So the wallpaper hack is an ADW feature, right? But I can live withouth the transparent BG, so no big deal here.
Yup, performance enhancement, that's all
Update available!
Thanks a lot! Will try it out as soon as I'm at home this evening!
Edit: I just installed it and everything works fine. I only deleted the boot sound because I find it rather annoying .
Caused a boot loop? Did i do something wrong? using latest clockwork recovery with CM 6.1.2. Just labeled it as update applied zip and it caused that. Should i try it again?
Downloading...
thnx

Hi, I'm currently doing a compilation of an Index for ROMs (based on hospital349's directory http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2006616 ) and I'm 1/4 done. However, in my doc, I'd like to add the ability to have an overview of which ROM has what features.
So for example, if your ROM has the ability to customize the navbar/status bar/navring/lockscreen, or it has CM's Theme Engine in it, or PA's PIE, please just state it. Also, maybe the Launcher and the kernel, if applicable?
Help would really be appreciated because if not, I'd personally have to flash all the 60+ ROMs and find out for myself. You can just post acreenshots of your Settings if you're lazy. Any help is appreciated.
I'll mention the usernames of the people who have contributed, and also you'll get lots of love from me.
Thanks guys!
