Have you installed Samsung USB drivers in your computer?
Rom:JellyBlast V3
Kernel:Kurotstogi
Theme:Xperia theme with some personal modification.
You need to install samsung usb drivers otherwise your PC won't pickup your phone
Go here it has links to drivers, stock rom and installation instructions with Odin

Dont panic..Switch off your phone go into recovery mode by pressing (Main button + Vol up + lock screen button) together.Select skin 1980(CWM) you must have that pre downloded and placed in sd card. Now open clear sytem memory and cache.Select update from sd card and click on the rom u want to install.
Or else flashing via odin,if ur phone doesnot connect try this
1)Install kies or samsung drivers
2)After you connect your phone to pc go into download mode (main button + vol down + lockscreen) then remove your battery now it gets connected .
Hit thanx if it helped you

All you need to do is.. go to recovery and wipe data.. then reboot.. it will work
..
Also, remember.. whenever you flash stock via Odin.. do the above steps..
This thread serves the same purpose of this..

You have odin and the stock rom files too? If yes remove the battery and put it in again. Press and hold volume down button home button and lock button and you will be in download mode. Now just connect the phone start odin put the three files on it(pda, modem and csc) and flash and you are good to go

Maybe a conflict between Odin and Kies. Close all kies processes. And be sure that you are in download mode.

Volume down + home + power*
It isn't always necessary to uninstall kies. Reinstalling the drivers only will do.
You should not have any problem if your able to access the "download" or "odin" mode (volume down+home+lock screen). Try to youtube flashing via odin if you are having a hard time with all of this. I believe that visual aids would become very helpful.
Btw. What did you do your phone?
Sent from my GT-S5360 via freenet
Surely, its the drivers.
1 Uninstall KIES
2 Install Drivers ( You can even use Windows Update)
3 Try flashing
How old is your pc maybe its problem with pc... like mine for example its like 7 yrs old already and all usb ports at back are not working except for the two in front but my pc cant detect my phone in download mode, had to use my grandparents laptop just to flash using odin...... but funny thing is i can use adb just fine except for a few times where it cant detect my phone too... same for using mass storage

Lol don't throw into wall yet
Try this :
Remove battery .
Wait for at least 5 minutes .
Plug in micro usb cable .
Start odin .
Keep pressing the volume down and home button .
Now re insert the battery .
If you enter download mode then flash stock .

Here is a quick soln..Think it will work...
1) Try installing samsung kies on your computer.
2) go to download mode(Not recovery mode) via volume DOWN + home + power key
3) If none of the above works download stock flashable zip and import to sd card via some means and try installing it.....
(Tip:Temp CWM might come handy in the final case)
click thanks if my soln works,
Optimus
Thakns both. I have flashed a rom that i found on the internet ,and I'll geve a thanks both

Hey there! Before flashing STOCK ROM. Make sure you have a back-up first. (Just in case) Then, make sure the USB Debbugging Mode is enabled in your SGY. Install USB Drivers to your PC and the firmware package for your country/region. Then put your phone in download mode by pressing the combo buttons simultaneously. Power+VolumeDown+Home. Just follow the steps on how to unbrick sgy. Google it. I know you can
Press Thanks please if I helped you :good:
