Yes but I wouldnt recommend it, just 2 weeks left till official release for Arc anyway.

i actually didn't use Nordic release but i think there should not be any difference except some regional app and support

it works on arc LT15i but a little laggy, you can use some custom kernel, I recommend Doom'sKernel v4 for ICS beta then you can use the overclocking to get the LT18i performance.

I don't think this upgrade really worth it, I'm using GB .62 ROM with the Xperia Arc BIG PACK V3.1 and it feels like having Xperia S inside my arc phone

I just updated officialy my unrooted GS3 from 4.0.4 to 4.1 !!
Go to settings => about device => software update => update and hopefully there will be an update for your gs3 too!!

Pleas paste the info from *#1234# in the dialer so we can find the full ODIN package for this rom.

Update (if it does exist) would be for UK unbranded (BTU) phones only.

i'm on 4.3 journalists rom. No update notification for this. I also have another thread on updates. With these unofficial ROMs will the automatic update notifications not work? The walkman app that came with journalists rom is also v7 whereas the v8 is already out. Still no update nofitication? why?

Because the rom is unofficial.. and is not registered on Sony servers the firmware basically not exists

Thanks. When i had the 4.2 generic spain rom on my xperia z (4.2 is not available yet through my carrier) i still didn't get any notification for the walman. I think it was v5 or 6 for walkman on that rom. Why would that be the case?

Because Sony doesnt push updates for each region at the same time.. i can understand this in case of fw updates but why apps?... Anyways you can still install apk file of the latest walkman app its the same, just different way of instalation..
I am from Europe so my cust is "Central Europe" generic ce"
And i have allways the update notification.. Like today with new album app..

Thanks - may be i'll try the central europe rom just to see wheter i get the updates
BTW, I love the 4.3 rom..its so smooth and amazingly fast. Battery is also slightly better. I hope the official sony 4.3 is release soon..

Could you please elaborate how you got full root on 4.3 for 6902.
I followed the link from the post above but can't seem to find instructions.
I am on stock 4.2 rooted with recovery installed.

i think you want to stop USSD alerts from your operator, Right? If so , you have to Root and install Xposed Framework .
