laptop ad hoc and u8800pro cm7

I'm running newest geko cm7 version, i can see wireless ad hoc connection on u8800pro but i can't connect, any suggestions?

wlan not working

I try to switch on wlan it is on for a while but it doesn't find any connections and it then shuts itselfl. Do i have to reinstall android or what?

What rom are you using? When this problem occour? Does your wlan mac 0?

maybe there is no connection, but wlna work, try where you are sure there is a wifi network

I'm using Huawei's android 2.3.5 beta so it's not a custom rom but I think I will flash aurora ics. I haven't noticed this problem before.

[Q] Wifi hotspot not working

Hello!
i am using defy Running on CM9 nightely build-120413.
wifi hotspot doesnt work. when i click turn on wifi hotspot, it says turning mobile hotspot on and nothing happens. is this problem common for all defy users on my build n will this resolve if i update to later builds? or is this a problem with my phone?
p.s however, i used to hotspot when i had Defy running on official froyo.
any help would be thanked n appreciated.

If you are using Eppy's ics then I would recommend you go with the latest nightly

Try "WiFi Tether" you can download from play shop.

I have the same problem Running it on JB and just like it did on ICS it just sticks to TURNING WiFi ON (or off)

Try wifi theter for root user.

[Q] Authentication problem with wifi on Aurora 4.0

i can't connect to my router, it says authentication problem everytime.
i can connect with my laptop but not with the phone. why?

Try the old wpa supplicants, it might work.

Hi
I have GingerDX v026 on my X8. On tablet I have android 4.0.3 and I would like to use my phone as a 3G modem to my tablet.
Is there any way to do this?
I`ve tride to use USB tether but its not working, same as Barnacle Wifi Tether.
