Hi. I have tried several ways, but none works. How can I change Android splash screen? WinMo default splash is already changed, now I want to change that one which is included in rom/kernel (android). I can't unpack kernel, so how can I do that?
wait..you want to change the image that comes before magldr or clk...or you want to change the roms splash screen that comes after?
After

flash a splashscreen, just like flashing a rom, but no hard reset required.
HERES one
Thanks Sam. I just installed one but I still get the annimated tmo get together crap before the newly installed one opens. Do you think its something I'm doing wrong?

i suspect you installed the cab, not flashed the bootscreen, , , , its a multi image process, first the bootscreen, then the roms loading animation, then the welcome screen, and you only need to change the bootscreen, which is an nbh file, the other two parts are cabs.
You need the first part, the HD2 Splash Screen V2.zip from part A
actually, ive just thought, i havent read anything from tmous users flashing splash screens, i doubt theres a difference, but maybe best to hold off, , ,, please be careful!
Cheers Sam!

no problem, ,, is that 'cheers i flashed it and it works', , or 'cheers for the warning i wont bother for now'
cos if you have flashed it, id be interested in confirmation that it works. (Cant see why it wouldnt, but ...)
Hey Sam, it works perfectly. That said, now I need to find a solution to the tmo goodbye annimation when you turn the thing off!

Hi I have tried this rom which you put up, but it goes into a bootloop (shows android for a second). Did it actually boot into android for you? If yes, can you do this, and then create a CWM backup, and share the backup? If I can install the backup, then I'll definintely help with improving the android experience.

Yeah it's that only. It replaces the splash images from the splash partition and is independent of the ROMs and doesn't get replaced on changing ROMs.
