Hello,
I've just got a new nexus 4.
I have a really big problem - the screen freezes all the time and I can't operate the phone.
The vol buttons and the power button works fine but the touch screen keeps getting stuck and is un responsive.
Please help me...

No
What is open Recovery?
Talk to a Google CS for then troubleshoot it, it will most likely have to be replaced/RMA..

Yes and I've sent it to factory mode several of times.
It's like there is a problem with the touch screen.
Maybe I can install the touch screen drivers again?

did you flash another ROM?
looks like its time for a hard reset. hold down the red button and press the reset button with the stylus without letting go of the red button. press up and it will reset the phone. remember, backups take space, but save you later =]

hopefully you did Hard SPL before Flashing if so you can relax your phone isn't bricked. to get it working again go to the tri colored screen by holding power and side camera button and while holding that tap the reset button on back. when you get to the tri color screen plug your phone to the computer and flash a different ROM that has been tested to work then your good to go hope this helps

to access the CWM you have to hold down volume up and down, home button, and power button. once the phone vibrates once, stop pressing the power button. keep holding the other buttons until it goes to CWM.

hello, I'm no longer on CM10.2 so can't really help you. Try CM11, I find it pretty cool even if it's still in BETA 3.
Btw do you use Snapchat ? because video recording isn't working on my phone don't know why :/
I appear to have bricked my phone while trying to get back to stock firmware. I am using a galaxy s4 on verizon with windows 8 for reference. My problem is I cannot enter download or recovery mode. When I try to enter either of them it flashes for a second and then disappears. After that I have to remove the battery because the phone won't respond. The same thing happens on a normal boot so I am stuck. Also I am noticing that the phone boots up on it's own when I put the battery it. Could the power button be stuck or something? What can I do to get the phone back to working order?
POWER BUTTON FIX: Ok after some more research I found this which solved my power button problem (Can't insert the youtube video until I have 10 posts) but you basically flick the top and bottom of the phone near the power button to fix it.
Now I am able to go into recovery and download modes

Great mate!!
Glad it was easy.
So i was downgrading to Kitkat from Lollipop and when finished flashing the ROM through Odin, i found out that i forgot to put the Auto-reboot on.
After powering it down, now the device wont start AT all even by click on the power button
Any help/suggestions please?
Samsung Galaxy A300F
I am almost sure it has nothing to do with auto reboot, something went wrong with the process i am guessing. Its dumb thing to do to downgrade
Try to hold volume up+down with power and homebutton at same time for some seconds, helps me on my a5,its boot to download mode then.
GREEETZ!!!!

No, infortunately, they can't fix it, the only thing they can make for you is replacing your phone, don't worry
I seen many topics around here with this problem..
Hi
I have rooted my A7. I all time recive message :"
were detected unauthorized activity, please touch to.... (sory because bad english, but i mean that you now what is problem. How i can disable this notifications?
I'd like to say thanks to the live chat for this info
This is pretty much a fail safe recovery
If this fails we have no luck till blank flash
1. Make sure the phone is plugged into a wall charger
2. Press and hold the VOL DOWN key
3. While still holding the VOL DOWN key, press and hold the POWER key
4. Hold both keys down for over 120 seconds. This is more than 2 minutes and will seem like a long time, it will help to time this to ensure the customer holds the keys long enough. Note, it must be more than 2 minutes!
5. After holding the keys down for more than two minutes, release the POWERkey first and then release the VOL DOWN key a few seconds later.
6. The Fastboot screen will display, and the Normal Reboot option will be highlighted
7. Press the VOL UP key and the device will reboot normally or go into fastboot

I'm here to help , not to be treated like a piece of dirt u can stamp on
If there is an issue with the actual bootloader such as it missing, then this method obviously won't work, you can't simply summon it if you don't have it.
If this is meant for booting one into recovery then it couldn't be done if for example the user had no recovery partition, and could not flash a recovery as their device is not recognised by another which had the ability to flash via fastboot.
Has there ever been an incident in which this method has worked?
