Pretty effin' cool. As talk has been thrown around about a CyanogenMod phone before, could this be it? Maybe, maybe not. But cool, none the less, to hear of such a high profile dev climbing the ranks.

HTC’s bootloader unlocking tool isn’t the only big news in the Android hacking scene today. The founder and lead developer of CyanogenMod, Steve Kondik, added “Samsung mobile” to his Facebook profile, effectively announcing that the company has hired the man we fondly know as “Cyanogen.”

If HTC had him working on the Evos' kernels and Aamikam working on optimizing their ROMs they would be set.

Hey guys,
can any1 plz port the ICS theme in zip file for latest Oxygen rom..
searched everywhere but can't find it , but did find the ics themed oxygen rom for N1 on rootzwiki...

AdamG is currently working on an ICS version of Oxygen , so if you can wait a week or so you should have the actual thing .

Oxygen 2.3.2 doesnt have theme chooser so you will need a zip version.
I made a full one for gsm and cdma for myself

So, how can we get this theme? By far the best I've seen for oxygen.

Would you please give us your email? I think most of us want to download your theme but I have seen on your homepage that you want us to write an email for that.
It would be cool if we could give it a try.

The email is on his site. This is a paid theme however.

Its an impressive theme, but considering the work that others put in on XDA for free, and just ask for donations, I am not prepared to pay. Sorry, but its not the spirit of XDA. If you made posted it up, and then just asked for donations from people, that would be much more welcome by everybody. Yes, you may have put a lot of work into it... But I don't see the dev's demanding a payment before you download their ROM...
I'm not trying to bash you, I just think most would agree here, XDA is about sharing, not selling...

Mate, I am not flaming you, you say you are unnapreciated, you have almost 1000 thanks from people on here... That's not 'no gratitude'
I'm sure if you posted your theme up on here, plenty of people would download it, try it, give feedback, hit the thanks button and maybe even donate. Hell, I'm on a Sense ROM, and your theme tempted me away, until I saw it wasn't available on XDA- if it was, I'd say thanks, I always do for those who provide useful posts and work that I use.
Don't group everyone on XDA together- sure, there are those who just take and don't donate or say thanks, but there are plenty of the others, too. You are appreciated it seems, else you wouldn't have so much thanks, but I'm sure you would be even more appreciated if all your work and effort were freely available on here...

i dont like this kind of topic but have to agree with you

I wish I could vote for both joker and epinter for their work in porting CM10 to the Atrix but I had to choose one so I went with epinter since I am currently using his rom. Thank you to both Jokersax and epinter for your hard work.

i agree with that buddy the developers work hard for their family's 8 hours or more then on the free time work on android to bring us a better experience on android that moto cant give us. btw this is really unnecessary to the atrix development community to make a competition on wich better rom developer imho, as much of them are not present to support or offer more support for the threads as others because they are doing the background work and didn't have time to support threads. take an example of turl,faux, cm development team,samcripp,jokersax,thebill and all the people that work to unlock and root the device. without their helps we should don't have aosp development so please im dont want to sound rude or like im demanding something but you sure consider close this thread for the respect of the pioneers and hard workers developers here in this community.:good:

I think this is pointless too. My POV? They all work hard, and many of the ROM's we have are collaberations. Lets not forget that Faux's kernels are almost exclusively used. You cannot possibly pick one developer. Look at it this way.......at least its not another battery thread!!!

Lol.... but on a serious note, I got something good I've been cooking up & scripting to perfection all week for my next update. It will include something to please everyone and allow full customization of a ton of features, mods, apps and tweaks that are all chosen by the user and the updates will no longer only include my choices of what to include\exclude.

Well, im yamil.
Also leader of skydragon... Soon will get my M8, im looking for coders, app makers, themers, testers that want to join my team.
First, the main idea is to have fun and share knowledge about roms.
Always private life first. No rush no pressure.
As you can see in my profile, i m a regular user, not a dev. But i love htc and making bases for roms. I m not in a rom competition, also i would never say my rom is the best, just is the best i can do today.
So far, mates from m7, hox and butterfly S are getting m8, and few know about theming. So for a start we have something to get fun together!
But we lack of coding guys, people capable of making an app or codes for the rom... Which is not the most important but give the rom a plus.
I hope you really enjoy this forum and your M8, if you want to be part of this team, free feel to pm me.
And thanks for taking your time for reading this thread, joining or not, we will meet in this m8 forum!!!

I would love to have a chance to learn about rom development. I have some experience with kitchen and a very good knowlege fo java, c++ and linux commands. I am getting my m8 very soon. And iots great that you say personal life comes first cuz i am a college student with two jobs.

I am coming over to join you guys at T-mobile after being with Sprint since 1999!! During this time I have build a very good friendship with one of the best Devs on XDA. His name is Freeza. I have linked a couple of his threads. Not only does he dev on roms, but he also devs on kernels as well! We also have a great friend you all should know, dwitherell!! We are very close on raising money for dwitherell to dev the Note 4 and I have talked to Freeza and he is very interested in deving for T-Mobile. They are even talking about doing a rom together!! Ladies and gentlemen, this would be the Best Rom ever developed!! Let me add Mr. Josh Beach to the guest list! That's right, the man, the myth, the legend is close to signing with this All-Star team! I've been running infamous alpha 9 for almost a year... I'm a flashing junkie and haven't felt the need to move from this Rom!
I was just hoping the note 4's additional features would appease my needs for change... thanks for supporting the junkie in me.

Yes, @freeza is an outstanding Recognized Developer, with talent to burn. And aside from being about the most humble, giving dev on these forums, most know @dwitherell either due to the innate talent that is palpable, or from the scores of devs whom have benefited from his constant solutions to problems that others cannot derive, eventually used everywhere.
Above all, these two fine devs never concern themselves with whom gets credit, just that all benefit.
The terms "respected," "humble," and "gifted" seem appropriate when referring to these two particular gentlemen. Neither famous nor infamous seems fitting.

Great to see freeza and micmars here from the Sprint side! I'm not familiar with the others yet, but I'm sure I will be, if my TMO Note 4 ever gets shipped.

I used his ROM for my S3 back in the day before going to CM. I'll keep an eye out for sure.
