So,
as many of you may have already realised (see post here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36025159&postcount=39), if you are on a rooted JB 4.1.2 ROM, enabling multi window is just a matterof adding the app code to a system file (namely /root/syste/csc/feature.xml).
This is easy to do manually, but it'd be awsome if some willing developer could develop a very simple android app, where you get the list of installed apps and yoiu choose the ones for which you want multi window embaled.
I'd pay for such an app, and I am ready to be a beta tester
Anyone?

I would be willing to pay for this app and test as well. I have manually done a few myself but its just a pain.

no that's not what I am talking about...
What I suggest is an app that lists all installed apps and at the same time reads the apps in the feature.xlm to mark thise already enabled for multiwindow.
The app allows to select/deselect the installed apps to add /remove them to/from features.xml
That would be a 2h job + testing, nothing fancy...
I'd really pay for that...
no need to flash anything with recovery or be deodexed...
just install the app...
only requirement is to be rooted to access feature.xml

This could not have worked more perfectly. This is exactly what everyone is looking for, I think. Thank you so much for your efforts! Do you plan on putting this on the Play Store?
I will mention that this app works flawlessly, but not all apps format perfectly. I tested about 30 apps, and about 3-5 of them either didn't work at all, or were barely functional. This still takes this tablet above and beyond where it was though.
I suggest you create a new thread with this information. I dont think people will find it buried in her. This deserves its own space!

It works. Thanks for developing this. One small issue, I unticked YouTube in the list, but it remained multi-window. I think for any unticked apps, you still need to include them in the features.xml file, but they need to start with a "-" , e.g. -com.google.android.youtube

A downgrade indeed... in terms of features. You can't view the permissions of the app before downloading now, updates don't seem to show up on top. There is a possibility that I might have missed those features since I'm new to this.
On the plus side, it's super fast now and there are more useful categories. I hope they bring back the old features if they've been removed.

But how about the updates? I know there's an app that has an update because I didn't grab it yet. Lo and behold, the app does have an update button in the app details BUT it doesn't show up on top of the list. Maybe I'll try doing stuff like rebooting my phone.
Oh, and one more thing. There's no longer the auto-update check mark like before. Is it really missing or am I just missing it?

My two updates are at the very top and seperated. And of course you can see permissions. Click download and a seperate page comes up to confirm and shows permissions and more clearly I might add.
Also its only showing the updates of apps actually downloaded from the market. I too had two that weren't showing but they did in fact have updates. The reason is those two were backups from like November and I don't remember if I got them from the market or here.

This is really a good update. I just need a wifi at my house so I can now rent movies.

So it turns out that all of the features that appeared missing (uninstall, auto-update, permissions section) were mostly caused by my apps losing their market links.. and being too quick to judge for the permissions one. After rebooting, the list of all my installed apps disappeared where they were in the "not installed" section before. So I think I'll have to find a way to restore them. It's either with market doctor in Titanium and/or clearing the market data, right?
I hear rooted users can not rent movies though the new market. Is this true?

Yup, rooted phones can't watch movies. I don't see them removing that policy because of piracy issues.
But it really sucks to be this way, maybe they should do what amazon is doing? Making sure that the movies will only work on the account that downloaded it?

tried the market apk on the latest cm7 nightly, but when i try to open it i get the message "you must add an account to the device to continue. Do you want to add one now?" so i choose yes but nothing happens i logged in to google thru the browser but no luck there either any suggestions??
After spending about 15 min with this, I have to say that this market is a nice improvement. The issues I encountered were all temporary (missing update button, security permissions lists before download, etc). Sucks that they decided to stop rooted users from video rentals. I can see why, but in the end someone will figure out how to bypass that.
If anyone has issues listing their installed apps in My Apps my solution was to use titanium backup to wipe the data of the market app clean + using the market doctor. I also had two accounts in accounts and sync and had to get rid of the secondary one to get to load up my default sync data.

Hey guys...
As you know you can now get asphalt 7 for free os samsung apps(yay! ) but when i downloaded the graphics were pretty bad for my standards...
Anyway i decided to look into in and i messed a bit with the games files...
The results i got were sweet!
Features:
Now the game has:
1)anti aliasing enabled
2)the car and enviroment looks much better and the biggest plus
3)it it runs 60 fps most of the time!! (i need confirmation about this, although it's much smoother!)
4)POTENTIALY decrease battery drain due to less workload for the gpu with the new settings...
I've played 20 minutes and only 5% is gone!(using lh3 ics and siyah 1.5.2 with undervolted and overclocked cpu+gpu (1600mhz cpu,533mhz gpu)
New in V2!
Fully blown out graphics!
All details maxed out!
-Enabled High quality car shader
-Lod back to highest value
-Gamma luminance enabled
-Dynamic reflection optimized
-Car reflection in garage enabled
This looks ULTRA SWEET!

2)I'm not sure if the ones that bought it have the game installed in that directory!
If you do,you're most likely in luck fellas!
If you don't,i can't do anything sorry....
3)Seems like it doesn't work on jellybean...:/
Sorry guys,i'm using LH3 ics rom...it should have theoreticaly worked with jelly bean....anyway,try it you may be lucky!
There's no risk..

When you post i'll have the version ready for that device,i found the issue that caused the download 1mb update and made the file working!
But in order to fix it,i'll need your ORIGINAL file!
By the way i also need an xml of the paid S3 version so i can make this work also.
Thank you guys.
EDIT:Added Galaxy S3 version V2 with even better graphics while maintaining great performance.
I need feedback on this one!
For now it only works on sammy version but as soon as someone with the paid version posts me his xml i'll make it work for the paid one as well...
P.S. The universal version will be based on the V2 not on the old one, don't worry...

1)I've made some screenshots but there's not much difference there!you'll notice the difference when you play, not in static images...
2)This WILL NOT WORK ON OTHER DEVICES...yet!
I you want it to ask me and i'll try to make it work for that device....
(and you can be a tester... )
I'll start a universal version soon so stay tuned!
3)I am not responsible for anything that happens if you mess up,delete data, cause a nuclear war,or have kittens assault you and anything else!

maybe try to search for "gameloft" or "A7" on your sdcard with your file explorer (Root Explorer at least has this option), should give you all folders & files with gameloft or A7 in it. Maybe that helps to find it

If you buy the game from the playstore, all the data is stored in the following location: sdcard/android/obb/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA7HM. There is no ".../files/" folder.
All the data is capsulated into a file, main.100.com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA7HM.obb, that has 1.4gb.
I copied the config file but the game graphics are the same. I guess that you need to put the config file into the 1.4gb file .

Update: I unzipped the obb file replaced the config file and zipped again the files(i zipped all the files into a .tar file, and after that i changed the extension name). After that i replaced the current file withe the official .obb, but the game fails to run. :|

Yeah, not really what I'm looking for. I know generally what would be in a gapps package, or included in an AOSP ROM, but I'm looking for something that lists the apk's individually, so that I can remove what I want without breaking functionality. Especially since some of their names aren't relevant to what they do.

Yeah, I'll be adding the apk for that app to the above collection by the end of the weekend.
Yeah, I noticed after I posted that it was YOU that had made the other post and I was referencing you on your own thread... Oh well, thanks for this. It's great to know people are working with this watch. Lol

Hey all, I finally found a decent, tiny footprint wireless widget that functions really well. the app/widget is by Rounded Labs and is in xda_share/APK_add_12082013
I can't quite understand why smartQ put a Bluetooth toggle in the quick settings. That's something I never turn off...but the Wi-Fi, I want direct access to enable and then immediately disable. I am in the process of testing some wireless managers that take a more automatic approach to WiFi mgmt. Since the watch gets GPS data from the phone, all seem to work pretty well. However, noticed a lot of stuttering after install on most. Let me know if these auto-wireless mgrs interest you.

So i tested some apps, made this site - zwatch.tk. Names/screenshots presented. Other apps - left menu item, Default apps - second item.

U may extract it from official firmware (update.zip) with any archiver.
Ok guys, gotta anothercool app to add to the list.
My BIGGEST issue with this watch was the lack of a BT disconnection notice. My sw2 has this feature , which is one of the reasons I use tree Sony more often.
This is about to change. The lady grew weeks I've been testing an app called Bluetooth Notify. This is solely an alert app for bt connections.
In testing, I found that my N5 had issues with this app and didn't function well. However, with my other 4.1- 4.3 based phones, the app is functional.
Try the free version first with a pair of headphones...to ensure functionality...just if case the .99¢ is hard to find due to the holidays.

any calculator apps that work? Just got one of these for Christmas and I'm ready to tinker haha. Does anyone know if apps for the SW will work on here?
