Hi, I flash my SGY from Hyperion to STOCK via odin. Next is my phone cannot detect signal sometimes it will detect but very poor. Ive tried other SGY but they pick up strong signal, but my phone cannot get a signal

It depends on which network you are.Whenever your signal is low,Dial *#*#4636#*#* and go to Phone Information>Scroll Down and select your preferred network.This will help you easily.
Rom:Jelly Blast V3
Kernel:Kurotstogi
Theme:Xperia Theme with some personal modification.
Select GSM network by that code!! Also goto
Settings->Wireless & networks->Mobile networks
& tick the option saying "Always use 2G networks" (if available...).

I used that but sometimes I get signal but I cannot send messages, it says it will be send if theres an available network.

I've already tried 2 CSC and I have the same problem
Keep flashing n rebooting.
Or flash a full custom rom (not a S-Rom ) n then flash back stock

well u need to go to the mobile network settings and set up ur access point (APN)...
if u r by chance on an o2 locked streak in the Uk as I am, then if u change it to mobile.o2.uk...it works perfectly fine after tht...
I believe you have to factory reset to fix this.

basically flashing the baseband is flashing the amss.mbn file in fastboot...the file can be found in the 1.5.1 thread...

it worked after i installed the phone part, REBOOTED, download modus again, inserted the modem part

i dont know what are apn standing for
but if you mean the settings in the network - mobile networks - use packet data - its ticked

Acces point names! Every operator has its own internet settings apn:s. U should check the right settings. Settings-whireles...-mobile networks etc...

In some roms these functions are part of the rom just like the original roms.

I have had the same problem (eg phone function gone) when tried to flash the Overcome rom.
Tried to install a separate modem using Addon-modem.zip from the roto-JME firmware via the recovery, but installation aborted.
I have finally re-flashed the whole firmware (roto-JME) via Odin and phone function is back and all is OK.
But I want to flash this Overcome 1.2 so how can I do it having phone function working?

i installed jellyblast ROM and my wifi was wworking great and nothing went wrong..Now i updated the rom to 3.0.4 and the wifi stopped working..When i connect it it ssays connecting and then disconnected it keeps repeating that ! i tried changing the advanced settings in wifi to "never" but that didnt work either...Can some please help me with this and can you explain in detail how to fix cuz im not really an expert on my galaxy y:crying::crying:???

first of all its your wifi router's problem!!!if you are using kuro krenel as default in JBv3 !!!if you are using white kernel then flash the wifi drivers !!!
and its a request stop making useless threads like this search button is provided by XDA not for show off use it ,it really solves all the problems!!!:silly

It's not anyone else's router problem.
It's a kernel problem. So, that kuro posted a fix for it.

Bro, my wifi is connecting with JBv3+ kuro kernel and as the OP of this post stated that his wifi was working with OTA 3 !!he was unable to connect to wifi when he flashed ota 4.1!!! connecting problem sometimes happens try switching on/off your router then try its not kuro kernel prob!!! :silly
I am on your side about the useless threads but still you could say it in a good manner.

router means in simple words which transmits the wifi signal!! are using laptop wifi then switch on/off your wifi of your laptop then try!

I am getting really woried now...none of the networks are even showing up anymore!when i connect it says "turning on" and then it starts scanning for networks but none are showing up!I tried "Add Wifi Network but it seems that ,that is not working either!I really need help , i cant have this phone be messed up cause i cant get another phone....HELP PLEASE!!!:crying::crying:

dont worrie flash back to stock rom via ODIN!!
download stock rom of your region and flash read this thread carefully every post and each word link:---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800
any problem ask me via message !! now i'am going to sleep, if you don't get it what is stock rom etc search it on XDA !!! don't flash untill you know !!

Thanks for the help ! I kind of did something and the networks are back!Now its just the other problem , Wifi keeps saying "connecting" ..."disconnected"
does anybody know how i could fix it withoout flashing stock rom? it works if i change the settings in no frills cpu ctrl but i have to change a settings a few times and then it works..but its really annoying

So, I installed this rom, then today I wanted to go on the web with the 3G, here's the problem..the 3G on my phone is like disabled..I tried to activate it from the status bar, then from the option. Still nothing. I don't know if the problem is mentioned on the guide of that ROM, there are like 400 pages..
If someone know a solution or a thread section post here please.

have u made the settings correctly after flashing jbv3....if not pls check ure 3g settings....then please make network mode to wcdma....now try..it will work cause no one is facing this prob lad... :laugh:

Well, that's why we have search button for that
Try "3g problem" in that 400 pages.. and if there is a solution you will get it.. anyway...

Open settings--> wireless & networks->mobile networks-->untick "use only 2g networks"

open settings wireless & networks choose more then mobile network you will see the 3g network

try reinstalling custom rom then try again your 3g network

I installed jellyblast for my Galaxy Ace (GT-S5839i) and it was fine till I noticed I cant send messages or call anyone. When I go to options It says that I am already registered in a network. Can anyone help me with that ?

anyway you are in SGY forum and im sure u can search some answers in galaxy ace forum.im not pretty my answer on how to do it coz we have diferent fon,so it is much better to go to galaxy ace forum.

Jelly blast is banned from xda becuase its creator broke the rules and stole others work.
In other words we cannot support you. Flash another rom

All the ROMs there (except banned ROMs) can be flashed on your 5839i.

suggesting roms is not allowed on xda and this thread should be closed now this is a banned rom
im using samsung galaxy S4 and its in 4.4.2 android version ...
my problem is i dont have any network when im trying to switch to wcdma network
i can only use 2g/GSM only
and when i switch to LTE/WCDMA/GSM there no network signal

I have the same problem. What you can do to make some more checks:
Search with google lte networks to see what band your operator uses
try the code *#2263# (if not working install Phone Info from market, it gets acces to secret codes)
go and try each LTE band. Most probably it will allow only a wrong one
check if your CSC is correct (again, the app above is pretty useful). Try to change to your correct CSC (attention, this with reset your phone).
i also do not have the solution, seems like Samsung blew it this time.

Thanks bro .. im from philippines ... i already tried all of the LtE and wcdma band in *#2263# but still i cant get signal from my network ... only gsm negwork is working ... and i installed the phone info ... and get screenshot of my csc info .. can you help me if theres something wrong with my csc? .. i compared it to my friends csc info , we have the same network provider and his product code is ( i think its the name of his unit) and my product code says ( not active )

I have no idea. I think the only possible solution is to downgrade, but that might be a difficult process. I will try these days and if I succeed I let you know the results.

i checked my phone info ...
my RF cal is none and my hardware revision is not active do you think somethings wrong with that so i dont have network signal in 3g/LTE mode?

Tw roms are touchwiz based roms i.e. based on the stock firmware (where they say based on xxuxxxx firmware)
I have the same problem in CM11 based roms. They are aftermarket android builds from scratch.

Check the firmware you are on and the op uses. The device type and the device model too.
And follow all the steps religiously.

done flashing echoe rom ... but still my 4g /3g cant find a network .. do you think it is a hardware problem ? ...
After trying several official versions, it seems there is a problem with my phone. As it is still in warranty, I have sent it to repair to Samsung.

Sounds like a hardware problem. Maybe you should go to a phone service with it.
