I hope these aren't the only fixes in this release... Btw someone check if this ROM has Huawei's cloud service enabled along with all other possible fixes (wifi, touchscreen feedback, dalvik cache...)

GB 2.3 Final release
Huawei just anounced that the ROM launched at 28.12.2011 is the Official One, they called it Enhanced Version...(of what???).
If this is the last effort by Huawei to do an Official ROM to U8800, it is a very very BAD effort!!! Shame on you Huawei, i expected better!
I HOPE that the final release it's still to come...(it's christmas!!!)

I don't understand one thing why huawei doesn't use phone's online update ?
Never did, since version b133 till b522 there was no online updates, while checking through phone. Why do they think this menu is for ?
I have a bug:
After trying to download updates from the market, the download progress can't be removed from the notification area. Even after reboot, it gave me several errors but progress is still there.
To summarize: Won't recommend to anyone and consider myself huawei devices.

Hi all! After update to 2.3 GB of BETA ver3 (because I do not believe that this is the final product) has no problem with the SD card, with the freeze and reboot. Still not working haptic feedback and 4 functional keys backlighting. Display still very sensitive. In settings - info about the phone - online update - Update the firmware: there are 2 updates for M886 !!!!!! I tried, after reboot start installation new FW and end with an error . After restart everything is OK, the phone works .... uffff! M886 is different hardware, but I had to try

They call the 12-28 released version a normal one. But the actual meaning should be a uniform version.
All the initial integrated apps are same in the oversea vertion and in the verion released in China，like Facebook，Twitter，even though these two service are not available in China.
And this version also support many language for the uniform using.

Just got this little beast to play around with yesterday.
My minote4G is based on KitKat 4.4.2 running on MIUI V5, wondering if there's already any upgrade version to V6 for my Redmi Note Type mentioned above? ...
I read the forum here and miui english forum and seems to have so many types of Redmi Notes with different Type of ROM official Code. This is my first time having this confusing ROM Code compare to other handheld I have.

If coming from an older version of MIUI then you do not need to full wipe. He releases a new version every week/Friday...here is the main page. Search for the latest date and go into that folder. In this case it's 5.1.9(date being 1/9/2015)...Our phone is named "dior". Every week you can go in and get the latest build. Just flash that in recovery without wiping your data and everything will stay intact. You will need to flash the latest SuperSU zip along with the ROM to maintain root or use the built in root app. The fact that you are rooted now does not matter.

If you're coming from anything besides MIUI then you have to do a full wipe....Also, no need to flash a baseband or kernel. I would start fresh with the latest build from 1/10

Talking about doing a full wipe, can I use PhilipZ recovery to do this?

Yes you can use Philz to wipe. Don't flash gapps. They're already included in these MIUI builds and it could cause issues.

I'm at RussiaNBeaR 7.3, based on stock .184 firmware. I miss the PixelMaster app in the RR (and, more precisely, XOSP - my preferred rom), so I come back to stock based. Apparently you can jump from .184 and the first MM build to this ROM (Google Translate, please dont fool me).

flashed this rom via TWRP over russian Bear & Borets Rom based on v184. Now cant boot the phone. only vibrate when press and hold the power button. Any help?

To unbrick your phone, try this: [Guide] Un-brick both (Soft/Hard) bricked Zenfone 2 ze550ml/ze551ml
Apparently, the custom MM ROM has the same implications the official one. I was thinking to flash raw image like the @Russiamen upgrade guide. Maybe this way the system would be closest to stock and reduce the brick chances.

According the 4pda forum yes, there is a chance, and the Russiamen let you to do it this way, flashing RAW image and .184 zip ROM.

ZUI 2.5.406 ROM for Zuk Edge

i'm planning to buy ZUK EDGE from Zuk Official Shop (http://www.zukmobile.cc/buy-zuk-mobile.html)
I'm just concerned about 2 things before my buying :
- Android 7.0 (for the multiwindow mode mainly)
- Multilanguage ROM (French language mostly)
I asked (and a lot of people too did) on the questions page but the people who are answering are once saying "multilanguage is available" and sometimes "just english & chinese".
They updated the sheet recently and it seems clear that Android 7.0 is preinstalled. But which build? They are unclear about it.
I did some researchs on the internet and i found that the most recent and stable build of Android 7.0 for ZUK EDGE is : ZUI 2.5.406
It is apparently bringing every features of Android 7.0, the ability to show "on-screen buttons" (back, menu, app view), and even multilanguage...
Do you have a link to download this 2.5.406 ROM for ZUK EDGE ? Does someone already have it / tried it ?

For what I have seen so far, you'll have to choose between ZUI 2.5 or multi languages. The custom rom are built on 2.3.
Only official rom is 2.5 (my phone came with 2.3 but there was an update ready for 2.5).
I try the 2 Italian rom mention in other post, there is French.
The CM have French too. I'm back on official 2.5,camera is a bit better.

With the OTA,of the update app of zui.
But if you're already rooted, that won't work, you'll need to use the qualcomm tool QTFIL I think, i found the tuto on zuk fan europe I'll try post the link later.

when i open "system Update", it just crashes. my phone goes to first screen.
my phone is Not rootet and bootloader is lock.

I'm just a forum follower, I'm useless with out a good tuto....
From memory it is the official zuk rom, so locked bootloader might work.
fyi, to open the port for qfil i struggle a bit, and once open you need to start the download very very quicly, less than a second....good luck with that.

yes. the original Rom have a lot of chinese apps but u can uninstall them easily

it's Ok with every thing. i had some crashes and notification issues with my previous ROM. but this Rom is Ok with everything

What i am confused about is the phone is advertised as being released with Android 7.0 and i purchased mine directly from ZUK and they say it's Android 6.0, how is that possible? Did anyone here buy official ROM and if so was there an update to 7.0?

I purchased mine directly from zukmobile.cc and it came with Android 6.0 and no updater app or update option in settings. I flashed the latest ZUI from my previous post using this process and it worked perfectly:

Official? I think so anyway, see my post on the previous page. It has English on it you just have to select it manually in settings.

No, I just downloaded QPST and watched the video on mute. You can see everything he's doing.

Ok so i got the phone and it has Android 7.0 out the box! All is good with that. But i have an issue with "ok google" it is greyed out. Anyone?

How to install the rom:
1. Now boot into TWRP by pressing home+volume up+power on while phone is turned off
2. If TWRP asks you about allowing system to be edited, swipe yes to confirm
3. In TWRP, go to wipe, format data (a keyboard will pop up now), type "yes" (this will wipe all your data, make sure to have a backup!)
4. After this, reboot recovery and start the rom installer

No dual SIM and won't read sd
So bc of the dual SIM card support my SD card won't work.

why does your rom not work without magisk? I tried every way to remove magisk but each time my system freeze at startup when I uninstall.
Can you redo a rom without root?

I literally pounced on the download, but it says the file is in owner's trash. Can you please reupload?
I LOVE my Note 7 (original) and have been stuck on Nougat port ROM till I saw your post today and could not believe my eyes.
If anyone else has the link to the file, please share, I can't wait to have 9.0 Pie on my DEAR Note 7

hello, I noticed several problems on the update of the rom:
-the phone application to call plant systematically, it is impossible to use
-The rom is less well optimized than the first version of the rom, slower
-the phone heats faster
Games like fortnite or pokemon go do not work

I am holding off on my install based on this, do you have the original ROM file, can you please share that for me if it doesn't have ant issues?

A big thanks to the OP. This ROM works great on my good old N930F which SAMSUNG never got back. :laugh: Ended up keeping it for free!
After installing Magisk, reinstalling aroma GAPPS and some of the goodies from the Magisk module list (especially the Equinox camera mod) plus the Microsoft Launcher on top, everything works great for me. This puts another year of extended use in my second phone. :good::good::good:

Why does this rom lock my phone after installation? The only way to fix is Odin stock firmware.
