How to use Note you needs device rooted.
1. Download latest Xposed framework 'XposedInstaller.apk' from this original thread post #1 for any query/support regarding framework post here
2.Install downloaded apk
3.open installed application and select install/update
4.Reboot device.
Now get your required modules Apk from below mentioned link and install it

Z.xQuick Setting : - allows you to select a theme or customize the colors of various parts of the toggles including background, text color and transparency without reboot (only a SystemUI restart).
Download modules you need from link given you above and install
You will see notification regarding xposed framework not active, tap on notification and select module from list.
-Reboot device.

How far does this embeds itself in the ROM? In other words - if we decide to uninstall it would be there any problems?
Other than that - amazing work

Just unselect module (see in picture 2) and uninstall apk, thats it.

There is also a multi window hack using xposed framework.

I installed it on my Note running stock LSZ and it works flawlessly.

TW launcher stock is not modified to work under dpi of less than 213 I guess. So it will not work. You need to used a nodded TW launcher or any other launcher from the play store like apex or nova

I have no problem with launcher....n I'm even not using TW launcher.....its SystemUI itself which force closes.
I also tried to set SystemUI DPI to 213 and applied TabletUI trigger in modules but it still FCs.

I have never used tablet ui, but I think it can be done with android system
Though I am not sure, there is thread in applications and theme section of note2 for this module only, which may useful to you.

Parsing error
Hey doc i tried installing the multi window as well as the 5x4 apk, but it doesnt install, keeps saying parsing error, is there something wrong im doin??

[Root][App][Guide]Per App DPI! Bring out Phablet/Tablet Mode

So we all want the cool TabletUI or PhabletUI in our phone,But sadly if we change the whole DPI using Dpi changers,it messes up badly. There Are no Paranoid-Android ROMs too.
But who cares! Here it is the way to change EACH App DPI to suite ur need of Tablet or Phablet UI.
Instructions
•Get the Xposed-Framework app from this thread! A big big thanks to the developer.

•Now Install xposed framework app.

•Click on Install/Update then Reboot.
•Install App settings module apk. You will get a notification click on that notification then tick on it to apply and reboot.
•Now u will see an app called "App settings" on the app drawer and go there select your app on which you wanna change the dpi and look. And apply the settings.
•Close the app or kill it if you were using it already.
•Remember i did not test on System apps much so test on them at your own risk.

Nice Man :good: but what about battery life, does it change something (does it drain more than normal UI), and what if I want to turn back on my normal smartphone UI without reflashing any ROM?

For normal just set DPI to 0 and Display to (default) in the app module settings and no battery life same as the normal UI.

How to Theme Roms that don't have Theme Chooser

Do you love the stripped down or stock based roms but miss the theming ability of CM? Yea, there is the xTheme Engine, but with limited options (they have to be converted or built for xTheme) and so-so support for 4.4 at the moment, this isn't necessarily the best option. Enter: Cydia Substrate and Winterboard. If you are know about iOS and jailbreaking, likely these sound familiar. Install Substrate : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.saurik.substrate then open, link files, then reboot. Then install Winterboard and your favorite CM10 theme(s), select in Winterboard : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.saurik.winterboard and reboot the SystemUI or reboot and enjoy! IF you are having issues getting Cydia Substrate to link, then make sure you open /system in a root file manager and grant it R/W access and try again. I also had luck with getting it to work after installing Xposed (they do work kind of similarly - and for some roms, I had to set R/W as well). Now, this allows you to run any CM10/11 theme, though CM10.x themes will not touch the battery icon, unfortunately. I got this to work on roms like Cataclysm and Mahdi and suspect it should work on about any rom as long as you have working root, /system as R/W and the linked files sticks. If you need more detail, lemme know and I'll see if I can point you in the right direction.

The one theme i want to use on my phone (HoloGlass) doesn't work with this method, probably because it isn't updated for KitKat. Didn't test with another theme. Will remember this for when HoloGlass goes KitKat

Hmm. You're just on the stock rom? Did you get an error of some sort? Hardly any of the themes have been updated to Kit Kat. This works with CM 10 themes.

I'm on cataclysm and keep getting the same error where it says IRS installed but not activated please reboot then after the reboot it says the same thing and I can't view the gallery

I believe that is because it has a difficult time creating the app_process type file. Did you try and make sure the /system is mounted read/write with a file explorer with root access like Root Explorer or Es File Explorer? Try that and install the Xposed beta framework too. If that doesn't work, I'll flash it and see what's up. I'm on DroidKang right now and it won't work, but it has the Theme Chooser already so doesn't matter.

Please do a step by step guide to use these apps

I tested it and it won't change anything for me....
First I couldn't link it, but after installing xposed etc, this worked.
I also see and can select the theme(s) in winterboard.
But nothing happens...
Any advice?
PS: I'm also on Cataclysm Rom.

It seems like it was theme related. I tested another and this changed some things (even not all).
I didn't check all posts here before as I tried exactly the same as mentioned in second post
I'll test a bit more now and maybe I'll find a good one.

This is what i do. I ported the black infitium theme chooser to my rom. Plus i use gravitybox.

This is sick. Love it I uninstalled xposed after I got it working I didn't want to deal the battery drain problem again.

Did you just choose the theme in winter board and reboot? I can't seem to get it to theme anything on Slimkat. Not even using themes that others have gotten to work.

the apk run in data/app....
Make flashlable.zip and flash via recovery...

Works perfectly, but as said before widget is missing. I tried to install the one from the prevoius version but IT didn't work. Any idea?

Yeah, I m using xperia home (z2). I found walkman widget on playstore, but it doesn t work as the official one, the album pic isn t shown

Try perhaps the official widget.
You can either do the following :
1. Find a walkman port thread and take it from there (the widget's code barely changed over time).
2. (Recommended) Download @Jishnu_Sur™ 's media apps from the Z2 port and extract the widget from /system inside the zip.
(Usually called MusicWidget.apk).
Then it's far recommended that you instead of installing push the Widget Apk to /system/app manually and give the appropriate rw.r..r.. (Or 644 if you prefer) Permission. Then take a reboot.

Of course push to system/app and give it rw.r..r.. (0644/644 permission).

Can anyone get the app to stop music when receiving a call on vibrate mode? I have no idea I'm getting a call and end up missing them.

I can say that works on dalvik but won't install on art!

it installs fine for me on Nexus 5 with ART , but i cant see the controls on the Now Playing screen
