Hi.
I just upgraded to CM10.1 on my 16gb wifi n7, and I'm looking for away to install the games that I previously had on AOKP 4.1 and stock 4.2.
They come up as "incompatible" on the Play store.
The apps that don't work include MC3, Shadowgun Deadzone, Asphalt 7 and Dark Meadow.
Is there a way around this?
Did you install any of the "tablet ui" mods or change your dpi in the build.prop?

Hi guys,
i know that is a common problem but i cant resolve.
I have a lot apps that couldn't be installed.
I have a original rom, rooted with pixel density 177.
Example : facebook is installed, if i go on its market page it says "not compatible"
Example 2 : if i search "Splashtop" for istance ... i found only 2 chinese apps
When i clear cache, user data, updates, cache and dalvik cache then it return working.
But soon the problem return.
Any ideas ?
Thank you

Ok but if i return to 177 the problem return
Yeah the problem will return because the playstore doesnt like some dpi configs and it mess's with the store, imo 160 looks loads better anyhow

I'm rooted with CNA installed and using Franco as my kernel. If you did get it to work, what was your setup?
Doesn't work on mine, I'm using motleys kernel

Works on stock unrooted. It may have to do with DPI if that's changed.
Works on mine. EOS tablet mode with Trinity kernel.

I'll try EOS. Thanks
I'm stock, not rooted. Works perfect for me. Are you sure you're using teh latest update? It just got updated about a month or so ago to work on Nexus 7
Yea, I downloaded the latest version from Google Play. It must be the cna. Once I get back from work, I'll install EOS and give that a try. I really hope it works. Its one of my fav games on android.
You guys rock! EOS works perfectly with NBA Jam! I'm now a very happy gamer

any help?
i have an unlocked and rooted nexus 7, but i changed the dpi to get the tablet mode and notification bar.
what do i have to do now to play nba jam?
what is EOS? do i have to go through a lot of trouble to install a custom rom?
all i want is the tablet style notification bar, as i use nova launcher anyways.

Set your dpi back to the original dpi. That was causing the issue for me not launching.

I have no problems with changing the dpi, except I want to keep the tablet taskbar..
any easy way to doing so?
i'm on paranoid android, i used all the dpi settings, and none of it works for me.
when i load the game, in the beginning it loads the screen on the upper left corner
then the big screen comes on, then it shuts off.
i've changed my dpi from 160 to 213 to bigger, none of it works. any help?
I'm running stock 4.2.1 with Franco.kernel 38. I really like stock and don't really want to switch. Is there anyway I'm able to force apps like YouTube to use the tablet ui versions other then the phablet/phone ui?

There's something called Xposed framework and a module for it called Xposed settings that can change the DPI of individual apps; however I don't know if it can change the layout though.

There's no such layout anymore. You can downgrade to version 4.1 of the app though

Thats a shame as the YouTube layout for mobile is seems really bad in my opinion.

You can change it in a build.prop editor. I'm using 280DPI with no Play Store compatibility issues on my nodded and tweaked Slim Bean Beta2 build. I think if you keep the DPI in a certain "stock" range you won't have any issues.

Is there other apps like it? Widgetlocker is so old and outdated that the stock lockscreen works better then it. I just mainly want something I can customize and use as a lock screen.
MagicLocker.
How about MagicLocker? It's pretty easy to use and works well. I tried Go Locker, Stock, even Widgetlocker, but I always come back to ML. I use it on my S3 & Nexus 7. Very happy
Play store pulls a not compatible with this version, I'll search for the apk.
The version i got is rather laggy..

Have you changed your DPI? All of the apps mentioned in this thread show as compatible when I check the Play Store.

Actually, widgetlocker gave me a very nice, jelly bean lock screen back when I was on stock. It has been updated. You just need to remove those gross froyo sliders
