Fixing housing cracks - Xperia Arc General

Some time ago i did full housing replacement of my Arc S - my original midnight blue replaced with white one from some china store.
I found that housing replacment i bought is very poor quality (definitely replica), so in christmas i have some time to try to fix my original housing to replace it back
Attaching some photos of in-progress action, lately i will add detailed information if ill be sucessfull
Conditions:
Arc's housing is made from PC (PolyCarbonate) with 10% glass fiber - strong material, not easy glue-able.
After some small regional market research choosed this glue:
http://perfumerialavirgen.es/index.php/ceys/ceys-plasticos-dificiles-3gr-4ml.html
feels very good and strong (different league for me comparing it to cheap kyanocrylate "super" glues i used before)
What i am working with:
disassembly guide:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfGOCGeMiWc
Todo:
find right/close color code/paint...
ATM i found Midnight Blue color in Saab, Mazda, Toyota and VW color guide, but which one fits...

It has some dust, but you get the point.
Looks nice, right?
LOL, that is PRECISELY what I suggested to someone who had the same question some time back.
BTW, it's a bit surprising to me the silver ring around your camera is perfectly intact. Mine started scratching and peeling off from one point just weeks after purchase (Where the ring rests on the surface where it is placed). (It is in a cover now 24x7, so, it no longer happens. Also the reason why the back letters are intact)

Well, I've had this Wildfire for a little more than 1 year, no guards/covers/cases/pouches what so ever since day 1 and it has absolutely no scratches on the screen/body (that line seen on the picture on the back "metal" isn't a scratch). Only the letters... The "T" came off today and I just removed the others, now it's unique, and good looking.
i dont get it

[Q] Can this be fixed without buying a new part?

While disassembling the HD2 to fix the overheating CPU issue, I accidentally snapped the cable that is attached to the volume controls. Since hacking on the hd2 always involved the volume controls, it's necessary that I find a solution, so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
I circled in red the point on the cable that snapped. So all in all, I ask if this current board/cable can be repaired or do I need to find a replacement.

Ok judging by all the replies so far suggesting I just buy a replacement, it's safe to say that this part is unfix-able and must be replaced?
Only ever seen a ribbon repaired once & that was done by a micro soldering expert & done due to lack of available part.
best bet is new at about $25 inc P&P WW .
Used can found on xda I expect if browse or post a wanted part thread ...
I m a good electronic tecnichian,I solder from about 10 year,I chipped many and many ps1 ps2 xbox ecc.I have a professional aoyue 968 soldering and reworking station, and really good hand and sight.I ve tried to solder the flex of my hd2,the one for spare parts,so I could maybe have 2 hd2 instead of one.I can tell you that it s not possible, and I m sure that no one could solder a thing like taht

Is anyone sporting a white Note 3 with an OEM black battery cover?

I just recently purchased a Note 3 in white and am in search of a couple of things.
First off I cannot find a single photo of someone with a white 3 and an OEM black cover?
I also cannot seem to find an official back cover from either Samsung or otherwise
I really enjoy the branding on the original cover and would like to purchase either an aftermarket with the same branding or an official Samsung cover.
Any help would be great!

Ebay has quite a few, there are even some aftermarket carbon fiber covers.

Not sure if your quote was suppose to be blank or if you were looking for the same answer.
I was thinking of this too. I've found a few replacement backs but was wondering what it would look like with a white face. Also thinking of just getting the smart cover replacement back..Maybe a black on white?
One of the reasons I would like to see it is because of the camera module remaining white. I thought if the smart cover as well but am unsure if I could deal with the "flap".

As one of the XDA reviewers and long time users of both STRATA and FRAME, I'm drooling over this
The Verge just did a write up as well: http://www.theverge.com/2014/1/6/5277128/metawatch-meta-premium-smartwatch-brand
Coincidentally, Pebble going to introduce Pebble Steel which is the same as regular one but with a metal frame/bracelet, but it's nowhere near as elegant as this one. Sorry, but I think it was brilliant how they incorporated 4 corner buttons as part of the bracelet buckle (obviously Frank Nuovo design). Also, fantastic move to switch to epaper display.
Can't wait to test it out!!!
yeah really like the new steel pebble, the matte black with leather strap looks really nice
still, wish HOT Watch would be getting here sooner, really want to try the private calling function, if it's not to my liking i'm interested in something else
Btw, I haven't seen anybody confirm those hinges are secured by 4 corner buttons. I'm just assuming they are keeping functionality unchanged since the original MW has 6 buttons and going down to 2 would be too much of a change. I'm also curious if it's going to be waterproof like FRAME and if they're going to use a similar charging clip or something else, maybe magnetically attached one? As soon as I find out more details, hopefully after CES, I will post it in here.
I am more excited if there are much faster development on the Android software front!
I like the new hardware of course but at the moment pebble steel wins overall due to the solid development work on both official and unofficial software.
Still praying hard for my metawatch frame to be revived with this new announcement!

While sony center will be like : Sir, have you tried repairing the software with pc companion?

And here I thought when I saw the 'pickup truck running over an Xperia Active' that smartphones are becoming sturdier..
They should change the rolled over test from a truck to a lift
But seriously, 6 tons?? A smartphone would have to be made of diamond or something to withstand that.
Clearly you did not have a screen protector on it... shame on you
The magic question is... are going with the same color?
