HOW TO INSTALL?- Download it and copy it to the SD card
- Reboot into CWM
- Select 'install zip from sd card' and then select 'choose zip from sd card'

- First boot will take a lot of time, around 3-6 mins or maybe more. Please
be patient and do not think that your ace is bricked.

PREVIEWHi guys after more than a month, I bring you a preview of my rom, which has some improvements, so far I do not find any kind of bug, but I want to help me testing for to leave fully functional, if no found are any bug the rom would be completely finished and me would put update the S3 theme.
NOTE:Only there a option the kernel.
My theme galaxy S3 is outdated, do not use it with this release.

The truth is that I do not remember which files were modified as many, anyway I'll pass the link with all the modified files without compiling, basically the files are found in the folders layouts, xml values and here I leave the link with this solves all bugs lus having your subject

Regarding the dialer and contacts if you want to set the tab in the dialer contacts file to modify is in DialerTabActivity.apk \ res \ layout-MDPI \ dialer_activity looking @ touchwiz: color/tw_color005 and change it by a color code and ready

To me if I work perfectly, just enter the details of your company
NaTHaN_GT5830 good rom! The theming in this rom is one of the best out there
But can you make a version with Battery Extender? PSN mod is good to faster SD cards and in mine, class 4 it lags a bit... So i prefer using a2sd script because it is much faster...
PS: if you update your rom put signal bar and wifi icon always blue instead of grey when in 2g

Basic :
_Do not use Jkay's (nor EDT) app to change lockscreens use the LockscreenMenu in settings
_use Jkay app to customize power menu and Jkay 's lockscreen
_use Jkay app to turn on/off media control on Glasslock/ aosp and rotary lockscreen
4tab Lockscreen and MIUI explained :
The upper right tab / right handle (MIUI) has to be set using the custom app section of 'Lockscreen menu' in settings
You can set it to launch anything (folder shortcut or any application )
If you dont associate the tab with something it will soft reboot the phone when you use the tab
Both lockscreens will share the same 'custom setting'
Lockscreen Music Controls explained :
- MIUI - R2D2 - 4tab : Music controls will work with ANY music player except the stock samsung one
SGS2 - Epic - Glass - Puzzle - Aosp - Rotary : Music controls will only work with the stock samsung music player
Just want to point out that double tapping the lock (MIUI) will bring up music controls, cool feature and that MIUI works with Pandora !!!
SGSII lockscreen known issues :
Lockscreen Wallpaper can be set, but cannot be unset. This is because the Galaxy S 2 uses a different Gallery Application. To remove the Lockscreen Wallpaper and revert automatically to the default Wallpaper, delete this file
/data/data/com.cooliris.media/files/zzzzzz_lockscreen_wallpaper.jpg

I really just wanted to try the JV3 modem from this on Simply. I downloaded this file and extracted the modem.bin and installed via odin but I still have KC1. Can anyone confirm this has JV3 modem or did I do something wrong and use the wrong file or something. Thank You

I'm coming from Mosaic III Diet and want to use this ROM, but I'm still new on the GB front. Do I just restore to stock through CWM and then install this ROMs Zip after I clear cache and Dalvik? Or do I deed to use Odin. If so can I get the steps needed to do so. THANK YOU!

Good morning ALL,
I have been putting together a personal Theme (IDM0Racing; colors and icons that appeal to me.) for Serenity over the past couple of weeks that I would like to offer to the community.
I am NOT a developer so my themes are limited to .png swapping, but there were are lots swappings going on... lol
I do want to thank shoman94... He replied to any request I had about theming; and PaulDiddy for theming ideas.

I have included a theme revert for the Serenity v RC6.2.
ADDITIONAL NOTES about my theme:
This Theme will wipe Voltage settings (if applicable), Media Database's, Cache Partition and the Dalvik-Cache, so the initial boot may take a few extra minutes to load. This ensures a fresh theme install.
NO additional mounting is required.
Just Flash and Enjoy.
This Theme will reboot itself when it has finished flashing... THIS IS NORMAL, with my flashes.

GPS Instructions for Serenity
This is how I go the GPS running properly:
- Download the specific GPS.CONF file for your country/region from HERE and flash through CMW
- Enable GPS, open AngryGPS (on dialer, dial *#*#3214789650#*#*)
-- select Settings then SUPL Settings
-- change SERVER to "supl.google.com" (without the quotes)
-- change PORT to "7276" (without the quotes)
-- go back to main menu then Delete GPS Data

People, if you don't like the ROM, mention in the thread explaining what problem you have faced. You're not encouraging developers to improve his/her ROM by giving bad stars, especially when he/she JUST released the ROM.

don't give up on your ROM, the amount of learning you get in the process is reason enough...

installing,, will let you know how it plays on my phone anyway
think it was my phone but had to install three times to get market and bluetooth working looks good and running nice now,, will probably only remember to re-update this if something doesn't work lol

I definitely won't be giving up. You're right the amount I've learned already is tremendous. I'm usually in the garage working on my Jeep or my Subaru so this is a better winter hobby for me that costs a lot less. Should make the wife happy.
I'm downloading the ROM now so I'll let you know tonight how it works out.
FYI about the Gallery bug. Apparently, from what I've read, it's either from modifying framework-res OR from syncing pictures from Picasa. Clearing data for Gallery app and/or turning off Picasa syncing and rebooting usually fixes it for me.

This is a known problem with the KJ leaks. you can use a different photo app or clear data as you stated.
I've been trying as long as I can to hold onto my current rom setup for as long ad I can. Stability is huge deal to me and I feel like I have that now. That being said, a few of Froyo's quirks have been getting to me lately (specifically locking me out of my wifi access points with no reason). But I think your rom will be my first attempt at sticking with Gingerbread. I'll make a write of the process for going from Cog4 to yours for those taking the same route I am.

I would like to know if this ROM is prepared for daily use. I have a friend who uses Galaxy Ace, and he would like to have better battery life and probably better results than using stock ROM.
Is there any known issues such as WIFI, 3G, connectivity, something that I must know before proceeding with it?

So, we are on the 5th version of this brazilian custom ROM and now I think I can say that it can be compared to other high complimented ROMs from XDA, I tried to bring all the goodies to this ROM, including UI design and performance, I've racked my brain on this and as I said, I'm not a developer, I'm just curious, I tried to bring useful things and don't retreat the proposal of being a stock ROM. I don't think my Adrenaline Engine can works together with Lagfree as they will conflict each other, this may cause Adrenaline Engine doesn't work like it should be.
No bugs? It works like a stock-no bugs rom? All the modofied apps causes no crashes or something..? im interested in this rom if its working 100% instead of testing a normal stock one

There is nothing called a bug-less rom my friend. Everything has it's flaws :fingers-crossed:
Very nice rom, just to things to say about it: 1)- why only br language on status bar ?, i would like more languages to be included too.
2)-There is no simtoolkit and i need that one, can you uploaded as a flashable package or just the apk please

No bugs? It works like a stock-no bugs rom? All the modofied apps causes no crashes or something..? im interested in this rom if its working 100% instead of testing a normal stock one

Yes, there are bugs, but I have not found any yet.

Installation:
- Put the file in sdcard
- Go to CWM recovery
- Wipe data, cache, n dalvik cache

Tips :: for who want use a2sd script, please dont do that, because i have set up the file system for a2sd system, so for first time booting the a2sd has activated automatic, the s2e in MiniScape Settings just take free don't use that ..

Installed the Rom about an hour ago.It's a very nice and fluid rom.The only thing annoying me is the little lag because of 4.2.2 statusbar! Please can u provide a zip to revert back to normal statusbar!

I have a lot of problems with systemui.apk and also with settings.apk when I slide from a tab to another one...
I found absolutely no problem with the ROM. It is awesome ! Yeah, there's a little black layer that stays back while pulling up/down the status bar for notifications but not a big problem. Infinite view, bravia engine, etc., all work flawlessly. I was expecting a force close on these apps as they did on previous xperia roms but I didn't get one ! Awesome ! Also so many nice never seen before themes in the theme chooser ! Loved it !
