Does anybody know how to change from 3 to 4 the number of the program tab columns?

If you think on Programs menu, answer is like this...
With a Registry Editor to create a new key under:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\
The words as: "IconConfig"
Among them, create the following DWORD value:
"HorizontalIconSpacing" Dec value = "112"
"VerticalIconSpacing" Dec value = "115"
"IconTitleFontSize" Dec value = "6"

it is already like that as default

install hd tweak. its there as an option under calendar (don't ask why its there!)

after installing open the program .... 17.2 icons disposition change it to 4 columns .... then soft reset

[APP][1.5+] Android Resource Viewer v0.0.6

This application will list all public and private Android resources (i.e. resources located under 'android.R.*' and under 'com.android.internal.R.*') for the current device.
If the resource is a drawable or a colour the background colour of the list can be changed to see how it looks next to a different colour.
This app used to be called "Android Drawables".
This is not a drawing app.
Probably only useful to developers
No ads.
Export will be added in the next version (or feel free to fork and do it yourself )

WARNING: Internal resources (anything under 'com.android.internal.R') are not guaranteed to be in all devices/android versions.

Its MUCH safer if you can find and copy the resource into your application from [ANDROID_SDK]/platforms/[API_LEVEL]/data/res/

[Help] framework-res XML editing problems

Hello there
I try to make a theme for the Rascream rom and i have some problems with XML editing and from what i see i'm not the only one with this problem.
I actually try to change colors of the text and a line in popup menu, but every time i recompile the framework-res apk with modified values, the statusbar and the lockscreen are deformated (look the screenshot)

I try to change the blue text and line in this screen to white...
Is here someone can help with this problem. This is the only thing i need to change for finish the theme. I try all i find over the internet, but without success.

Sometimes xml editing involves adding new lines to overlay others somewhere else. With ics ive noticed in arrays there are theme statements which change cursors, texts, and borders just from one change to the statement. Maybe check some source on the reboot options to narrow it down. Are you editing source or decompiling framework-res.apk?

But if i change any line i have everytime the same error.
I decompile the esisting framework-res.

[GUIDE][HOW-TO] Use custom image as Android system background[TW+AOSP]

With the new KitKat update, Android uses black color as System background. In JellyBean,it used to be a png image which resides in framework/drawable folder. But in KitKat, that png has been removed and now it uses solid black color. So here's a method to use custom image as your system background instead of black color.
1.Decompile framework-res.apk
2.Open drawable folder and find this xml file-

3.Now navigate to res\drawable-sw360dp-xhdpi (it may be xxhdpi for high-res devices)
4.Paste your png file here and rename it to tw_background_holo_dark.png
5.Now recompile framework-res.apk
6.Finally push META-INF and Android Manifest.xml in your compiled apk and then zip align it.

Never mind, I did it by myself, though I faced some errors in recompiling.
Anyway, I just had to decompile the framework, remove tw_backgroubd_holo.xml, add the corresponding png file into the drawable folder and recompile and it worked.

Jaguar / Land Rover 10.25" Unit Rooting

Hi friends,
I bought Android HeadUnit from Aliexpress. Its specifications are MT8783 AP, 4GB/64GB. The seller said that O/S was installed Android 9.0. However, CPU-Z is show to be an Android 7.0 device. I want rooting it. It has a built-in CAN module. (It is extremely limited in function.) Cable provided has a female USB port. I had connected it to my computer with a male to male USB cable. However, there was no response. (couldn't use adb)
I want to modify default launcher. Anyone have any good ideas?
