please guys, I'm a noob, help me. I tried to install android 4.1 using nativesd in my hd2. I did the process exactly like this video teachs: "Install Android 4.1.2 On HTC HD 2 NexusHD2 v1.3a English NativeSD", but when my hd2 is turning on, it doesn't work. stay just in the htc white screen. it's driving me crazy 'cause I don't have another cellphone, smarthphone or tablet. please guys, help me with this problem... or how to make the nativesd works great or how to reverse the process to nand and install without nativesd... pleaaaaaaase, help me.
the steps taken are equally important, try the links below it might help

after testing, need to replace 3 lib, and you need root to do that.
and these files only for HD2 SD AD, do not try NAND AD.
libmediaplayerservice.so
libmedia_jni.so
libmedia.so

Tried with SD DL.DesireZ.v1.0, but always sound no image.
Doing this make build not bootable anymore, hang on "HTC" green logo.
Need to boot Winmo and replace "system.ext2".
Anyway thank you trying.
Tried also with MDJ HD 4.6 and same result. Stuck on HTC boot screen. Thanks for drivers but they are not compatible.
Seems people just don't care anymore about this issue.
Hi guys,
it's not working on Desire HD or Z roms, only on plain Desire.
Here are some roms:
Mdeejay_FroYo_Matted_v._1.4_S6.1
Mdeejay_FroYo_Sense_v._2.4_Clean_S6.1
Motoman234_Desire_PCB_Sense_V1.0
Good luck
I have same problem with SPB tv on HTC wildfire S (Just black screen with audio only)
Any idea how to fix this?
Hi
Newbie here... I've searched for this Q & A but ' haven't found anyone with this exact problem...
I've just bought an used but barely used HTC HD2 with WM6.5 from a friend of mine.
I wanted to have both Android and WM, so i did install RAFDROID HD 4.2 on my sd. Everything went smooth on the installation, but now i wanted that Android as my default OS. Every time i turn on my HD2, it loads automatically WM. Tried to install [APP] RunDroid-dual boot to Android [SD] or WM6, and even when i select Android as default, it will load WM first...
Anyone can help me?
Thanks
António

Can you help me, giving me a tip on how i do that? (it is mandatory that i maintain WM intact on the phone memory)
well if you want nand android than your WM will be gone.
but you can always reflash it back to WM later.
if you do not want WM to be gone you should maybe try a different bootloader

Right, you should try a different boot loader
try this: multiboot: http://www.mediafire.com/?nssn9v0ijoy3thv
You can install more than 1 android build on SD card.

Good choice! If you need help, let me know..
does windows mobile 6.5 disappear when I install coredroid?? I would like to have both OS..
Then you need to boot android from SD. Go to the android SD sub forum
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA Premium App
yes but can I have both wm and coredroid installed? I did a flash but then wm was gone.
My camera works fine in wm 6.5 but it doesnt work on any of my sd roms (haret boot), doesnt work on american android or Nexus ICS by tytung hard reset hd2, formatted sd card and clean installed both, fixed permissions, still nothing... everything used to work fine until I got my lcd replaced and updated tmobile rom through t mobile website. in wm6.5 the phone runs flawlessly camera and everything.
What do you mean by "not working" ?
What exactly do you get? a black screen? a force close? an error message?

Black screen then will ask if I wan to wait or force close, have chose the wait option and after 10 minutes still nothing, reinstalled thru system/app camera.apk, nothing... 3rd party camera apps cant open it either.
So it's working under WinMo >>> supposedly eliminates hardware issue.
But it's not working under any "sd" android ROM AFTER an LCD replacement.
Maybe if you provide a logcat other members may be able to help you?
Have you tried it in "NAND" android? Have you tried different Kernels while on sd? Have you tried it on Windows Phone 7?
I'm at the limits of my knowledge, sorry.
I hope you get it fixed.
I haven't tried it on NAND but I'm not that knowledgeable about flashing roms and with all the trouble I've had I don't wanna screw anything else up ill post a logcat under a more defined thread, thanks for your help.

check out the link below if you want to try out NAND, once you know the steps it's actually not that hard.
ughh figured it out went back into windows mobile and it worked fine then it started working on and off, now it wont work at all even after hard reset, looks like its pointing towards a loose connection in the hardware not ROM related after all, thanks for the help. Time to go get in an argument with repair tech

Have you tried getting another camera app off the market? Most have issues with ICS and some others.

Hey Axman, I understand you're trying to help around which is great but before posting could you please read the entire thread? Quite a lot of what you've posted recently in this section has really been irrelevant to the issue/has already been advised. Thanks

hi
do you want your ROM to reside in NAND or SD card?
there are few combinations now on how you & where you want your ROM & Data to be.
the better way (for me) to have Native SD, try some of the links below it might help.
