Any idea?
I tried to modify some reg values (default SIP) and my Omnia was bricked again.
It´s possible to quit this keyboard?
Many thanks for your comments.

Why you wont the ms keyboard?
I think an edit of the title of this post to state that this is for the Samsung Omnia device ONLY would be in order?
you saved my day! thank you very much!
I installed a custom ROM on my Omnia, now i dont have the Omnia keyboards anymore (i used the phonepad) Is it possable to install it? Anyone have it?
bump
anyone tried to use this in other devices? Maybe add the registry options to use it as a sip?? I like the fact that there is a soft keypad out there with the comfortable option of quickly toggling between two languages with t9 support (I HATE TouchPal`s prediction )
Maybe someone has some idea on how to cab it?

Davas,
Funny thing is when I extract the files from the Windows.rar archive in only get a windows map but there seem to be no files inside. Checking the properties of this map shows there should be 67 files , 3.05 mb.
Also showing hidden files brings no solution here, what is wrong ?

hi, i want download samsung phonepad in russian language.are you help mee?
didn't understood very well
hi,
if I install your package every time I'll open the keyboard it will be in greek and than I can switch with xt9 button or, I can choose starting languages?
Because I was interested in having Italian as first language and the possibility to switch with english, french or spanish which are the languages I usually use.
Looks like such a gem of a spot mate! I love the look of those big old trees running along the banks.
Great to see the bass are still in there growing big and fat!
This does not work on Cloudyfa's Soft4V WiMo 6.1 ROM for the HTC Prophet.
Is it possible to get it working ?
Hi guys!
I'm Polish and pretty pissed off. I run a stock rom, Eastern European version. To have it in my language, I had to install a semi-official mod by Sunnysoft. Still, there is no xT9 in Polish. I enquired about it in HTC Poland and theire was "There is no T9 in Polish for HTC HD2".
Could you please tell me, in what EU and possibly other european countries is the situation the same?
Cheers
I don't know what is the situation in other countries, but in your case some one at HTC was just too lazy to help you.
htt p://pda. pl/news/htc_chyba_przygotowuje_prezent_dla_polski/
I can't post external links so just remove gaps before ps. It works with the phone bought in UK so I'd assume that it is goiung to work on the one with Eastern European rom version as well.
to add polish to your xt9, install a registry editor and go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Tegic/eT9
click AvailableLanguages and add 0115 to the end of the value like:
0109,010C,0107,0110,010A,0115
then go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Tegic/eT9/LdbFiles
and add a new String value named 0115 with a value of PLlsUN_xt9.ldb
then go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\Sip\Language KeyBoardIDMapping
and add a new String value named 0115 with a value of 0915
reboot your device...

whatch out on what version you install these.. because these cabs assume you have WWE with french, spanish, english, german and italian..
the manual way is more safe...
these cabs don't check the current registry values and add the language, but replaces all registry entries that are there or messes with the once you already had..
not everything can be solved with a simple registry cab.

do you have a cab-file for Russian XT9 as well? And perhaps a cab file allowing the normal HTC soft keyboard for cyrillic letters? It really would help me a lot!

I don't know where you get those from, but they are not for HD2, they work but they alter and add all kinds of registry entries that might cause problems, as well as unneeded images for a keyboard layout that does not excist in this phone..
You are right, they not made for HD2 so may mess up registry a bit. I found them on XDA ages ago and used them on my HTC daimond, in fact not all of them just polish one I have never had any issues with them either on diamond or on HD2 now.
[How To] Change XT9 dictionary
________________________________________
I have seen a lot asking how to change the XT9 dictionary to a language not listed. After having a hard time finding a solution myself i decided to write this guide.
If you are using a ROM with another language than the language you want your XT9 dictionary to be and that dictionary language isn't in the XT9 language menu, don't worry. All you need to do is adding a few things in the registry.
First go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\
Open the key:
AvailableLanguages
In this you will see a Value like:
0109,010C,0107,0110,010A
These are the langues (you currently) can choose between. Add the language you want to use, ex. danish is 0106:
0106,0109,010C,0107,0110,010A
Here's a list of most of the dictionary codes (sorry i don't know all of them, if anyone got a complete list be free to reply with a link or the list and i'll add it):
• 0105 = Czech
• 0106 = Danish
• 0107 = German
• 0109 = English
• 010A = Spanish
• 010B = Finnish
• 010C = French
• 0110 = Italian
• 0113 = Dutch
• 0114 = Norwegian
• 0115 = Polish
• 0116 = Portuguese
• 011D = Swedish
• 010e = Hungarian
• 0118 = Romanian
• 0108 = Greek
Next go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\LdbFiles\
Add a new key with the name of the language you want to add (ex 0106 for danish). Then in value add the filename of the dictionary you want to link the language to. Here's a list of the dictionaries in the WWE 1.61 ROM (my guess of languages in parentesis):
• ARlsUN_xt9.ldb (Arabic)
• CSlsUN_xt9.ldb (Serbian)
• DAlsUN.ldb (Denish)
• DElsUN_xt9.ldb (German)
• ELlsUN_xt9.ldb (Greek?)
• ENlbUN_xt9s.ldb (English)
• ESlsUN.ldb (Spanish)
• FIlsUN.ldb (Finnish)
• FRlsUN_xt9s.ldb (French)
• HUlsUN_xt9.ldb (Hungarian)
• ITlsUN.ldb (Italian)
• NLlsUN_xt9.ldb (Dutch)
• NOlsUN.ldb (Norwegian)
• PLlsUN_xt9.ldb (Polish)
• PTlsUN_xt9.ldb (Portuguese)
• ROlsUN_xt9.ldb (Romanian)
• RUlsUN_xt9.ldb (Russian)
• SKlsUN_xt9.ldb (Slovak)
• SVlsUN.ldb (Swedish?)
• TRlsUN_xt9.ldb (Turkish)
After adding the value, soft reset your phone and you can now choose the language you added in the XT9 menu.

Tip:
Edit or new words mauel in your xT9 wordbook
eT9MyWords opens a tool to edit the words
You can directly edit words in eT9MyWords
This file you can find : \windows\ET9MyWords.exe on the phone
Make sure u can see all files
Clik on the file and you will see all words
You can edit and new words

there's a setting missing in this guide that is crusial for the keyboard layout..
here is the complete list for locale IDs - h ttp://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/goglobal/bb895996.aspx
Hi guys,
During the weekend I finally upgraded from 2.2.1 (Darky's) to 2.3.3 JVh downloaded from [Firmwares]Stock I9000 and I9000M Firmwares collection [Latest: DDJV9, XWJVK, XXJVQ]. Even though, the ROM has CSCs for Bulgarian carriers (VVT and MTL) I can't select Bulgarian locale or Bulgarian as input language for Samsung keyboard. I can actually select it as an input language, but each time I select it during typing, the label switches to English US/UK and language doesn't change.
Locale is not an issue and it can stay in English, but I really need Bulgarian for my keyboard.
Is there a ROM with this included or a way to install Bulgarian?
If possible, I would prefer to use the existing keyboard and not install third party one.
Thanks in advance for all the help.
EDIT: If it matters, the phone is rooted using Chainfire's method and his CWM.
Same here, actually it's since stock 2.2.1
(Изтегли си от маркета Bulgarian Keyboard 2, няма друго спасение)
Damnit, I was hoping for some solution using the built in Samsung keyboard. The design and usability in this version are stellar.
Bulgarian Keyboard 2 installed, thanks for the advice Travel_Mate!
You are probably missing the corresponding files in /system/T9DB . Τhe csc οn its own is not enough.
You can find them in a Bulgarian rom and copy them over.
From the name of this directory I suspect this is only for T9 dictionaries or am I wrong? In any case, the issue is, that I can't find a 2.3.x ROM with Bulgarian included. Can files from 2.2.1 be used?
Working on:
- should work on any rooted I9000 Gingerbread
Odexed / Deodexed:
- BOTH
CWM2 / CWM3:
- BOTH
Troubleshooting:
- if you got any problems regarding language showing up on the list but youre unable to switch to it, check your Product Code (*#272*imei#*)
one that shows there must match one that you flashed with fw (for JVB those are XEE & NEE, for JVA it is LUX and so on... that is the CSC file from odin...)

I have this one:
From [Firmwares]Stock I9000 and I9000M Firmwares collection [Latest: DDJV9, XWJVK, XXJVQ]
After flashing I switched the CSC to VVT via *#272*imei#*
which if your packages should I flash with CWM? Or is it possible to only copy the files to /system and reboot?
Will the same thing work with 2.3.4? I.e., flash JVQ from the same thread above and then apply one of your packages to add KB language, even though there is no Bulgarian CSC for 2.3.4 ROMs.
you might want to also copy over

have you used also /system/T9DB files from jvb?
also try wipeing application data - hope you know how
and dalvik cache - also hope here
hey but the fe youre using got your countr CSC
so you must have done something wrong while flashing ...

Exactly, we are looking for this "something". We are two different persons sharing the same problem.(and probably all the Bulgarians using android)
I am using the same JVO with multi CSC like him. Even Bulgarian is in the list of available languages, when u mark it, it's not possible to switch to it. I've noticed this since 2.2.1
- have you cnahged to your product code?
- i know that changing pc wipes data but can you do a factory reset after that ?
and tell if factory reset produces any error in cwm afterwards if so
you should flash some froyo as a base change pc on froyo to bulgarian and then flash 2.3.4 that will have your bulgarian pc afterwards and it will work probably then
Well, every time I flash a fw. I'm using *2767*3855# before the flash and after . So it means I am doing factory reset two times. Product code is not changed, it stays MTL.
In my opinion simply the necessary files are not included in this firmwares.
Which begs the question -- can we just copy the keyboard language from an older version, like Froyo?
Sorry to dig this up from a shallow grave, but there is a new GGB version -- 2.3.5JVS, which has Bulgarian in locales, but not in keyboard, so has anyone managed to import BG or any other Cyrillic language in default Samsung keyboard?
I also heard, that Bulgarian is available in SGS2 stock kbd, so I wonder if it will work on our devices. Does anyone have the files?
I think if you can find a solution on... market
I was in similar situation, while looking for russian keyboard on english ROM.
Try to look on Gingerbread Keyboard 2.3+.
You can install as much languages as you want, and download several dictionaries.
Toggle between the input lang is by swap the space key.
hope this will help you.
Does someone have the link or file of the dutch language pack for the SGS 4 ?
