Where can find the Developer options menu on my new Nexus? Can't seem to find it...
Regards,
BTJ
Ever heard of google? I bet you $1000 you're going to find it if you just type "developer options nexus 4"...
Anyway, tap build number 7 times in 'about phone'.
Google? What? (A)
Thx...
BTJ
In About Phone, tap the build number at the bottom of the screen 7 times.

So, did Google remove developer options from jellybean? Or was it moved somewhere else? How can we disable animations and other minor tweaks?

Go to device info and tap the build number 7 times to enable the developer menu.
Thanks, I just discovered it, and was going to report back. Sorry for the redundant question.
Hi,
Got my S4 today and sadly realized there is no option for USB Debugging. No developers option in settings menu.
Or myabe I'm blind??
Any one can confirm?
Go to about phone, then tap build number a bunch of times. That is the standard way to enable the developer menu in 4.2.2.

It is there just go to settings > about and tap several times on build number to enable the developer settings...
Like the topic says. Above 'About device' I have 'User manual'.
Is this something that my carrier has done? If so, is there any hope other than get a different carrier?
I have the SM-G935F, and using the carrier Telia in Sweden if anyone is wondering.
The developer options menu is hidden, go to settings, about phone, and tap build number repeatedly until it tells you that you are now a developer.

Next thing to learn is how to tap thanks button
Unlike every other Android device that I've used, I get no result from tapping Build Number 7 (or more) times. Developer Options doesn't appear in the menu, there's no toast, nada.
Build NMF26X.T377VVRU1CRA1
7.1.1
Any ideas how else I could possibly turn on Developer Options?
I was signed into a non-admin "profile." After switching to default profile, the option appears in the Settings menu.
New question: How to designate admin to profiles, or is it limited to the first one with no configuration beyond that?

I know this sounds so stupid but I seem to be missing 'build number' in my System -> About. I'm completely bewildered as I've been TWRPing mobiles for years but this one defeats me. When I go to the top of the Setting dialogue there's a Search box, entering 'build number' into there give me 'no results found' . I'm on MIUI 12.0.2.0 and Android 9 PKQ1 190321.001
This is after a full reset.
Is this a permission thang or am I going crazy? It's just sooo weird..
TIA
Update. Tapping on MIUI Global 12.0.2.11 in the About Phone section gave me Developer options. Phew!
