You should READ first post and second post before asking.
INSTALLATION:
Copy your "update.zip" to sd card and install with CWM recovery!
v013 and bellow, use xRecovery.
Do a full wipe if coming from other roms.

Note: below issue you can see @xxx -> this means in which version of GDX is issue present.
BUG REPORTS, KNOWN ISSUES:
NOTE THAT SENSE 3 LOCKSCREEN IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT SO YOU SHOULD EXCEPT BUGS. THERE'S A LOT OF THINGS REMAIN TO DO.
TRANSLATION ERRORS: Members here have only translated GingerDX specific settings. All other things are translated by Google or CyanogenMod so it's theirs fault if transaltion is wrong.
General CM7 bugs:
Touchscreen sometimes is not sensitive on some parts on oth Cypress and Synaptics.
Launcher Pro bug: All icons in app drawer are stacked at one place when screen orintation is changed
Check this picture.
WiFi don't work if you use LinuxDX v001 or v002.
There is a bug in the transparent status bar modifications which are made for GingerDX. It somehow breaks the visual appearance of buttons in the Photo Gallery app (which also uses transparency). The buttons are larger than they should be and they are not rendered properly, horizontal lines in random colours are partially covering them.
Accelerometer is lagging, it's not precise.
It works all right for changing screen orientation, but it's NOT good for games.
@I think it's fixed in recent releases...
Album folder shows multiple albums with the same titles.
Songs on Albums with different infos will separate them.

From v012 all Camera apps shuold work fine. No Barcode scanner FC's etc...
If you use 24h clock format, Sense lockscreen will display 12h format, although 24h format is chosen in system options
When you change themes through the T-Mobile app, the theme wallpaper isn't applied. Even after a reboot, the old wallpaper remains.
Some apps can't grant root acces... even SUapp says it's granted (System app remover, Root Uninstaller etc)
FIXED IN v010
Acceleormeter is bugging.
I make a call it is backing with the screen rotated 90° and take a long while to back to 0°. I tried forcing it to rotate, and it is slow to rotate
Next track using volume rocker key work just one time (or 0) and then stops working.
@v007 (not sure for previous versions)
Some camera apps are not working correctly. (Google Goggles, Barcode Scanner..)
camera libs are replaced in v008, all camera apps work fine
There's a bug on syncing contacts with Facebook/Last.FM etc
All the accounts for FB, Viber, Skype, Whatsapp go missing after a reboot.

100% brightness on v006 is incorrect.

ISSUE/SOLUTION:
Issue: I don't have in-call menu (to end call, dial pad etc...) while in call.
Solution: Tick force in-call touch UI in Call settings.
Issue: Autobrightness work incorrectly.
Solution: CyanogenMod settings> Display>Automatic Backlight> check the options Use custom (light levels) and Allow light decrease. (ENABLED BY DEFAULT IN v008)
Check this thread and this picture to set up brightness the way you like.
Issue: Hide LED notification doesn't work correctly
Solution: Set manually to fix.
Issue: When I come back from airplane mode, phone does not allow me to enter PIN number.
Solution: (One or two users reported this, so.. just reboot )
Issue: When someone call me, the phone only ring one time. Is that a bug?
Solution: In v007 theres an option in CMsettings>GingerDX, check "Loop Ringtone"

Issue: My battery drains. How to fix?
Solution: So, doixanh's phone is always connected to laptop because he's needs to develop and he can't test battery yet.
But you can FREEZE unused system apps (like email, gmail etc) with Titanium Backup, or delete from system/app.
You can use Airplane mode during the night.
Issue: LED notifications don't work, work incorrectly.
Solution: Enable succession on CM Settings menu.
CM Settings > Interface> Notification Led >Advanced > Check Succession
(This is enabled by default in v007)
Issue: WiFi problem.
Solution: Forget all remembered networks, and connect again.
Q/A:
Q: How can I set specific ringtone for one contact?
A: Open contact, press "menu" button, tap "Options" and you'll see option there. It's same for all roms around.
Q: How do I get transparent status bar?
A: In v007 in GingerDX options, tick "Semi-Transparent status bar", reboot. Note: not all launcher (or themes) support it.
Q: Do I need to do a full wipe when changing from one version to an another?
A: No, but it's recommended if you have bugs.
You can try clearing dalvik and cache first
Q: Do I need modules if I flash custom kernel?
A: No, all those features are implemented in kernel, so modules are not required. Also, modules needs to be compiled to use with new kernel.
Q: Is required to use a LinuxDX with GDX?
A: No, it's not, but doixanh recommends it!
INFOS:
Custum carrier text appers only on lockscreen as it supposed to.
In v008 fun was how to unlock Sense lockscreen, in v009 it's already there, you don't need to unlock it.

That is a first class suggestion and I am sure this is going to be a fantastic thread.

It's a know issuse if you mean this

i have problem with my router. my phone loses internet connection after 5 secs after wifi connects. wifi connection present but i have no internet. that thing comes with froyobread v20 (not shure) and come here. that not happens with stock rom, so its wifi drivers. i saw somewhere modifien tiwlan file from freexperia for gingerbread and was said wifi works faster (wifi n disabled and "many changes in compare with dx's) BUT i cant find it, dont remeber where i've saw it =( anyone helps?

open the twilan file and copy it as text here so that I can see if wifi n is enabled, maybe that's the culprit.

I don't have that problem on v006.. when I saw your post I took more than 20 pics in a row and cam didn't crash... works as normal

haha sorry everything is ok now...i did again full wipe and everything seems to work with gallery app!
dont know why it was acting weird...coz in first time i did full wipe too!
letters were too small and graphics were really bad! background blur was not blur anymore but some really big squares and image fliped to next sometimes
anyway its ok now!

There is another bug, on games battleheart on this cert ain level when i use a skill it freezes then my phone goes back to menu. rom prob or the game itself?

Maybe it's just a lag... you should wait few moments before tapping again .

someone already tested video performance with this custom rom? stock rom 3.2 struggles to even play h264-encoded 720p mkv-files smoothly :-/

I'm currently on V12. Due to the modding I do (removing certain system apps, editing build.prop, etc.) not sure if it's worth the update, unless anyone can convince me otherwise

Native NTFS support is a great feature. Fat32 and ntfs usb dongles are mounted to the same folder. So the Rom is treating both types of usb devices identically. That is imo a great improvement.

I had no intension on loading any mod rom on my tablet but not experimenting mean i will not learn or cannot assist so i took the plunge, compare the loading of web pages to the factory firmware is like night and day, ..this is a keeper for me....

Was going to try this, and then I noticed the bug list (well only 2...)
The rotation lock not working does'nt bother me - I rarely use it.
But the auto brightness seems to work quite well (on Taboonay).
I don't notice it at all, the screen always seems to be at the right brightness,
regardless of the ambient light around (so I guess its working).
Anyone have a workaround for this - or does just not bother people?

just saw you post on brightness don't know where you saw the bug list but mine work perfect, with automatic brightness don't know if it is working but manually setting it is working, the rotation lock is the only bug i see not working. i will ask thor if there will be a fix for that....

V12 had a screen rotation lock in the screen settings, not sure why he would take it out?.

Screen lock is in the Tiamat custom quickbar (when you touch the clock on the taskbar then expand it by touching the upper clock) the icons slide left and right

It's also an option in display settings, as I posted (at least in very 12). Not sure he would take that out.

thanks, that did the job..the slide is for screen brightness and above it is the on and off rotate option..

I have tested my 720mkv files on just about every ROM. Thor's ROM (I'm running 12 right now) plays the ones that I have FLAWLESSLY whereas they are choppy in every other ROM

My a500 is warming up, very high temperature near the dock connector, the screen on top of the space bar when the brightness is at maximum, the temperature rises quickly and restarts

Troubleshooting:
The unlocked ICS bootloader is required.
If you encounter an error during the flashing process use another recovery, TWRP is known to cause problem with this rom, a CWM based recovery should do it.
If you have problems with the Google Play Store after a bit, uninstall updates for it.
If you want to avoid the lockscreen bug, you can disable it in settings-security.
Report bugs & issues with your attached logcat in the development thread.
How to logcat?

I haven't tested all features yet. The only thing that does not work is face unlock so far.

runs really smooth this is awesome, but I can't get google play store to open, going to try and reflash GAPPS.

You guys may need to track down a better jb gapps package to use, I think the one listed in the thread is causing a lot of the reported issues...

Excellent start... so impressed!!
Only issues I have is with percentage battery not showing in status bar and an invisible slide on wake up. It works but can't see it... a little tricky but no deal breaker.
Huge congrats on a fine and rapid effort!
*EDIT* Odd... as if by magic, the slider is back! Only thing I think I tried was rebooting a few times AND turning off BOTH screen animations on wake / lock... Weird, but happy now!

My test results
Flashed CM10+gapps.jb.20120717. GMail and some other Google apps are not included and you'll need to get those separately from the Play Store.
SOFTWARE: Market apps did not auto restore; but all of them were able to be manually installed with no errors. I used ICSBrowser with Thor's ICS ROM...this app does not work in JB. GoogleNow, Netflix, and YouTube work great. Alternate launchers also work great.
HARDWARE: The rotation lock toggle doesn't work, but there is a quick setting option for that anyway. Sound works flawlessly. External Seagate 500GB hard drive works. Acer USB mouse works. Acer BT keyboard works. DSLR Controller works with my Canon EOS Rebel XT as far as reading the memory card; but cannot capture images which was no different in ICS. I could not get a GPS lock with GPS status nor could the Navigation app get GPS.
I have not tested any games yet. I'll load up some of my favorites tonight or tomorrow and report back.
THIS IS EASILY A DAILY DRIVER. Many many many thanks to WDS!

as for the hardware rotation lock, i need to port my code over. as my birthday is now over, i hope to have some time in the next week to do it.

@waydownsouth: My pleasure, I will maintain this thread no problem. That's the least I can do. Keep it up, it's working amazingly well already.
On my side GPS doesn't work, lockscreen sometime disappears and like most rom since ICS there's some screen flickering noticable on low brightness and dark color (kernel related I think). Battery percentage is also not showing in status bar. I had a couple of browser crash, but it was with Quick ICS Browser wich has been updated to support JB.

There's a lot of CM9 code still to be ported to CM10, things will get better as things go on.
GPS is still very broken, there have been some permissions changes in how the gps lib communicates with the native proprietary daemon... I have a workaround in mind, just need to get it implemented...

Thanks mate..this is far above expectation for the early release..great job.. :good:

If you have problems with the Google Play Store after a bit, uninstall updates for it. I was able to use it after having problems as flashing GApps didn't help.

No sorry, this is CyanogenMod, not an acer based rom.

This is an awesome ROM! Thanks to everyone that has put work into this. Just to report on three issues I have found:
-Gmail app crashes every darn time. The app seems to be a hot mess.
-The unlock screen seems to go "invisible" after the tablet has been on for a while. You kinda have to guess where the button is and swipe.
-I use a bluetooth keyboard. Normally the touch keyboard goes hidden when BT keyboard is connected, but not in this AOSP ROM.

I'm using it as a daily.
I do have the following issues. (This is not a complain, I'm thoroughly impressed with this rom, this is just me reporting the issues i've experienced so far)
1) GPS doesn't work.
2) Gmail, calander, and Reddit is fun GP crash occasionally. Here is the gmail logcat: https://www.dropbox.com/s/taavl8kacv23q2z/gmail-logcat.txt
I think this is those same memory leak issues we had in the ICS rom.
3) after a while the lockscreen becomes "invisible", but still functions. In the mean time I just disabled it.
4) When importing photos from a DSLR into gallery over usb the new photos do import to the tablet but do not get added to gallery. It took an hour and two reboots before they showed up (no matter what i tried).
5) despite being set to "wifi always on" wifi disconnects during sleep
6) Plugging in a usb keyboard does not hide the onscreen keyboard

Just tested it, and it works flawlessly!

Tested the hdmi, audio is not working (it did in hc3.2)
My screen, after wakeup, is black after tab has been asleep for more than a minute. I have to press power button to restart tab every time. I have turned off animation for both on and off.

omg how ?!, it doesn't work for me (i mean the gesture typing doesn't work for me), neither does the camera :c (it says gallery stops working whenever i open the app)
But the CM File Manager works great! and the widget too

I'm on Aurora 4.0 and Android 4.0.4. I tried the camera, gallery and CM File manager. The camera worked very badly for me, couldn't record video (in 720p), neither do a panorama. The gallery was what worked better, only problem is when you try to edit (little icon on the left bottom of the screen) it stopped working. About CM File manager I couldnt even make it work.
EDIT: I downloaded also the Nexus 4 wallpapers. Thanks a lot for that.

You are not doing wrong. In ICS works only clock widget, but no app... If you likes android 4.2 features you can go to my ROM Mlora. :fingers-crossed:

Problem with On Demand TV apps
I have a real niggle at the moment where I cannot use the BBC iPlayer, the ITV Player or the 4OD apps. The apps work and provide the ability to select programmes to watch but each fails to play video and audio (sometimes e.g. iPlayer there is broken/distorted audio).
I have noted that there are a few similar reports on maclaw.pl from other rom users.
In earlier versions of the ROM these apps did work, but I cannot recall which. I am currently using 11-20140318-UNOFFICIAL-golden.
I used to get lots of reboots but after installing this ROM and doing a factory reset these have stopped. This version for me is incredibly stable and works well except for this issue.
Can this be resolved?

Please before reporting about any issue .. make sure that u follow the installation structions and using the latest release cause maye your issues is already sloved

gaming app bugs
I've downloaded two apps on my s3 mini and there are bugs that i never experienced with stock rom
the new app flappy bird makes a distorted sound when the bird in the app falls and some of the letters in the app jus come up as small black boxes.
i was getting the same problem with a game called car parking the letters bearly show up and the sound is distorted when i navigate through the menus.
i have no idea whether its a problem with the rom or if its the apps that bug out itself
ANY SOLUTIONS???

just some minor bugs that doesnt effect daily use.
i have
*sound adjustment and discrepancy
*whatsapp loads late or doesnt load at all
apollo looks weird with scrollbar
didnt Experience clock freeze.

incall loudspeaker volume (have to press vol+ or vol- every time) and delay answering call (people never hear the first "hello").

Maybe the problem with audio driver ..
Just a suggestion try to backup your rom then un install dspmanager and flash acid audio engine with clear audio + addon and see if it is solved .. if not just restore your rom again .... ( just for trying)

camera already fixed in latest release 22/03/2014

The only bug that I have found is about wifi direct.It doesn't work at all jaja

we dobt have a light sensor. so its normal that you cant enable auto-brightness

- background image cannot be set sort of it changes position often afterwards or the zoom doesn't go with what was set
- cannot change network mode (3g, 2g)
- doesn't find software updates

:3 :v we cant directly apply cm updates. maclaw adding theese daily cm updates to his releases.
