I don't know if this is the right place for this or if it's even allowed because the marketplace shut down. I'm in the market for a used phone (T-Mobile USA compatible) to replace my Galaxy Nexus. It seems my only options are eBay, Craigslist and Swappa. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any other websites.
Hmmm maybe this isn't the place for requesting or selling phones. But perhaps a thread dedicated to deal sites would be a good idea. I too have been looking for a cheap ($20) phone to use with Google voice as a home phone. It would be nice if I knew what sites to check for used or discount phones.
Plus more people checking other sites means more people informing us of deals.
If a moderator comes to close this thread, please consider making a sticky that can list deal websites

Yeah... trying to sell an Incredible to a bunch of people who are members who are members of an Incredible forum probably wouldn't be too efficient either lol.

Oh you would be surprised...I sold a 1 1/2 year old blackberry in a blackberry forum. It is amazing what people will buy.
Marketplace section is in general discussion by the way.

Sorry about posting this here, its hard to find people in the marketplace section.
I am looking to trade my HTC HD7 for a Nexus One. The HD7 works on both t-Mobile and AT&T so that should be an issue. I will be shipping with twenty USD so if there is anything left over ill toss it in the box with the phone.
As you can see there is almost no cosmetic damage to the device at all, the phone's screen is completely flawless.
Here are some Pictures:

Makes no difference why you posted here belongs in the market only, thread closed.
I am going to sell my Sprint Epic 4g. It is rooted, CM10, original box, charger, original battery, extra 1800mAh battery, Realook screen protector, no scratches, couple of small marks on the chrome rim, & headphones. I can throw in a couple of cases if you want. $100 + $10 shipping and insurance through USPS unless you prefer a different shipping co. If no one is interested, please let me know of any good sites to sell it on.
You could try and sell it on eBay or Amazon. If you don't mind selling locally you can give craigslist a shot.
Why letting it go so cheap? Does it have a clean ESN?

Happy to sell it for more. Didn't know what a fair price was. Any price suggestions? I just upgraded to the SIII today for .96 at Sam's club. The phone is clean and will be factory CM10 reset before I ship it
A quick search on ebay, amazon, and craigslist shows that you can sell it for $150 to $200. Especially if it is rooted.
An auction just recently ended on eBay for over $190

Thanks, maybe I'll do that.
I needed a cheap phone replacement and bought my Epic 4G for $100 on eBay. It's in perfect condition and has a clean ESN.
I bought one for $40 with flaky speakers. I believe it has a clean ESN too.
This has become a funny thread. I wonder what the next poster is going to say...
..."I got it for free from an Amazon seller and he even included a month of unlimited free service"...
Nope but I did get one for free from an awesome xda member...

Please rush this along
Selling of phones is not allowed outside the Marketplace which has high restrictions.
I am being nice and allowing this for a day or so more then you will need to place it on ebay or craigslist.
Thank you for your cooperation

Yes, I know. Which is another reason I let this go but selling on XDA will no longer be permitted and I am supposed to just close threads. So trying to give my fellow Epicurians a little break.

Thanks for all of the comments. The market place is closed so I was looking for suggestions on other avenues where I could get a good/fair price. I also thought someone here, because of their love of android tinkering, might want or need a new phone. I already listed it on craigslist for $150. I will be listing it on ebay if there aren't any takers soon. Friendly neighborhood moderator, you are free to close the post if you so wish.
Thanks again
Figure I'll put my ad up here..
I have an epic. If you need / want one.. Pm me.
Pretty sure it has a clean ESN, eBay ad said it did, haven't checked.
Also said it had a bad speaker, not sure which. But the loud speaker works fine(though I have torn it down and back together, probably fixed it.)
No screen damage or other, slider is tight.

Now that the Marketplace is closed, where can XDA members trade / sell their accessories? I know the Q&A or the Accessories sub-forum are not a marketplace, but where can members now make these arrangements? I have two cases I'd rather sell / trade with XDA members, so what do I do?
I know there is eBay, but since these are fairy small value items, I'd rather I make some XDA member happy and/or trade for something else, instead of going in the millions of generic auctions out there....
Is there a "parallel" process now?
Ok I guess there is nothing? It leaves us PMing and some way to let people know you have something of lesser value to trade or sell...
So anyone wants to know, just PM me... I can't see anything else

I have a well used AT&T Samsung Captivate for sale. No screen cracks or scratches. It does have some scratches around the body and the slide cover over the charge port is broken. Phone is rooted and running on HellyBean 4.2.2 2-26-2013 release. I know what I'd like to get for it so make me an offer. Seller pays shipping. No charger or accessories included unless you want my wife's purple jelly cover for $5. Thanks for viewing.

Just messing with you dude. But seriously this isn't allow anymore on xda. There's a reason the WTS section is now closed, and soon this will too.

XDA partnered with http://swappa.com/ for members to buy and sell phones and tablets. Read about it here: http://www.xda-developers.com/announcements/xda-makes-swappa-its-official-marketplace/
Swappa is a good place to sell but you might want to try eBay or Craigslist first. You'll probably get more money from them then swappa. Anyways good luck.
