T-Mobile UK GPRS/MMS Setting

Sorry Mods, I did a search for a already start string, but could not find one that meets the needs!!! Maybe there should be a part just for settings!!!
Ok well i got it working so.... If any people that are T-Mobile UK you can try my cab file!!!
It will setup your GPRS and MMS

Unlike the last cab file i made, this one is tested and works great for me!

I've been searching everywhere for the correct settings since upgrading my Hermes ROM and your .cab was the only one that worked!

Will this cab file work for fresh mobile, which uses t-mobile???

If it uses T-Mobile then this will work for you!!!

Hmm, not sure, have installed them both but can't find any info about them in the connection settings. Do I need to install the arcsoft mms for it to work?

Sorry the FTP has ben tidyed up abit and the file is not there any more!!! But if you look you will find the files in there!!!

Not sure if the cabs were responsible, but after installing them for fresh I couldn't receive any calls, and after installing them I can receive calls. Don't seem to work for fresh mobile.

I just installed the faria rom and it seems great but now i cant connect to internet via GPRS not can I get MMS to work.. have clicked the .cab link in this post but that doesnt seem to work either. Can anyone advise where the cab file is..?
Also I dont appear to be able to connect to the FTP server.....??

I ripped the settings from the T-mobile UK website and these work fine for me with this latest Faria ROM and the 02.25.11 Radio ROM.
This radio rom seems to give me better battery life, and I don't have the missed calls issue that the later radio roms can cause.

Ah - you mention a radio rom.. does that mean that I need to use 2 rom files - not just the faria one..? I have looked at the ftp site and there appear to be rom files and extended rom files - whats the differece?

If you have followed all the downgrade/unlock/upgrade_to_current_provider_ROM/upgrade_to_Faria_ROM sequence you should have a radio ROM of at least 2.xx. This should work fine with Faria's ROM. If you need/want to change your Radio ROM have a look here for a selection.
My own feelings are that the 2.47 radio roms have excellent signal strength but at the expense of decreased battery life, also there have been reports of missed calls with this ROM.

Thanks for that! I also see that you are t mobile uk - does the auto config from farias rom work for you - can you send mms and log onto the web via gprs or have you had to load different settings?

The autoconfig within Farias excellent ROM did not work for me. I have had to re input the settings after every ROM change, so I can nearly remember the settings off by heart The settings in the text file, a couple of posts back) have worked on every ROM for me. (FlexT with Web&Walk)
Yes I have no problem with MMS, Web over GPRS and Windows Live Messenger.

Anyone has the newest multilanguages version of Windows Live for Hermes

I am currently using Windows Mobile 5
I am seeking for multi languages version of Windows Live for Hermes which can set whether I would like to sync the contact list or not instead of automatically sync without notification
The previously version that I am using can not work properly on public wifi
I am looking for the one which can work properly on public wifi without automatically sync the contact list.
Anyone can help?

Is there a reason why you can't upgrade to WM6?
If you feel like doing some digging, my ROM has the latest version, but you'll have to decompile the extended rom to pull out the CAB file...

Up To Date NOT working with Win 6.5 ?!

Greetings. I Just flashed win 6.5 on my xperia, all working good except that Uptodate, medical software that depends on IE, does'nt work anymore.
Any fixes or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does uptodate access an internet site, or is it installed on your sd card?
If the former, try different versions of IE or a different browser like opera or mach5. Mach5 renders pages very faithfully, and an option could be to log onto the desktop www.uptodate.com and just use that instead of the mobile version.

It is installed on the SD card, and the program uses IE by default.

Uptodate may be searching for a specific IE executable file or version
- Did your WM 6.5 come with an updated IE version? If so, try to downgrade to an older version of IE.
- Are you sure you can't choose the default browser that uptodate uses?
- If all else fails, you can temporarily just log on to the uptodate site if you have a username and a fast connection

I quit my Up to Date subscrption this year,
but I remember being able to log on to uptodate.com with Opera
I never even loaded the CD on my desktop PC: I always used the online version

I am using Itje's Touch It 6.5/ Manila. I don't know what version of IE I need to downgrade to?? I also cancelled my uptodate 2 months ago so i can't access online again.

When you say it doesn't work, what do you mean?
I tried installing Uptodate on my Xperia flashed to both 6.5 and 6.1 and it worked fine apart from all the actual content screens being blank . What ROM were you using before when it worked?

Up To Date was working all along, my last Rom was Smaberg Touch X, this is my first Win 6.5 rom with itje and is the best by far.
i will buy epocrates essential instead.

Missing the account tool from the rom and not sure how to find and install

I have installed "Windows Mobile 6.5.1.7 Build 23085 (New GUI) - Clean" rom and very much find that this is an awesome rom. how ever I found that there is no tool built in to access the telco network details.
I used to use CR96 Touch HD - Version 6.5.0.3.3 RC5 Reloaded and previous version but have not been able to find the tool.
please let me know what the tool is call. thanks

[Q] HD2 WP7 8107 Telephone Tile Problem & Cellular Settings Problem

When i install any of 8107 roms and set Polish Language i can't access telephone tile(in my language - "Telefon") - so i can't make phone calls.
Second problem - I can't access cellular settings.
But when i change language of WP7 to English i can acces both of them.
Is there any solution to access Telephone and Cellular Settings in Polish Language?

There aren't polish language cabs for 8107 yet, sorry. If you use Back to the Future, you can wait a bit until they are released, but for other roms I think you will have to wait a bit and reinstall entire OS.

I find a confirmation of @Spaqin words - under one of the WP7 rom topics:
-note: only 0c0a,040c, 0407, 0409, 0410, 0809 advised
users that use other languages, please stay at 1.25 for now.
the rest of the needed language cabs are not available yet.
this causes phone calling not working on all other langs.
now i got access to 0404/0804 but it's not yet in 1.26

im using korean(0412) but i have a same problem.
i think only English(United State) can access celluar setting.
when you want to change celluar setting, just change language first, English(United State).

I backed my 7740 to cab sender, I then loaded the new 8107 update and then sp1. I only loaded the usa language pack. Cab went through fine. I lost all photos on phone and then could not turn cellular data on/off. If I was to load all languages would my cellular switch return? I prefer using me wifi at home at work rather then using my data pack.
My next question is how can I get touch experience to work on 8107 as this failed to work on the phone also. I like having htc hub live tile but not fussed if I lose it to gain touch experiene, compass etc

Try sending all languages cabs and not only your preferred language.
Also, install old HTC drivers for touch experience and old paps to work.. The new HTC hub and compass works well with new drivers in sp1 by xbmod
