I had sent an email to LG india a few weeks ago. They claim 2nd or 2rd week of Jan for the Indian release.
But they have no idea about the price.
And chances are, unless Google decides to open up a play store here, we'll be looking at premium rates for the phone.

I am planning on buying a new nexus 4 and selling my galaxy nexus which I bought about a month ago.
Is it a good move? I don't mind storage, I am a cloud guy that's y I like Google. They promote cloud a lot
One more thing. If I buy a nexus from US will it work here in India? I'm talking about the radio part of it. (will buy off contract of course)
Thanks in advance

It is a worthy upgrade from the Galaxy Nexus, and since storage isn't an issue for you... even better! And yes, the Nexus 4 is a world phone, which means that any carrier supporting GSM (sim cards) will work with this phone, no matter what location. As long as you pop your SIM card into this thing, it should work well. The Nexus 4 they sell in the US is the same version India will get when the play store is available in your country.
No mahn. Play store mobile buying dont happen in India so people here are expecting high prices plus its coming early December.. so i will probably get a friend to buy it for me from US. Anyways thanks

As like the title, I do really hope that Google Nexus 4 will be available direct from Google. Anyone have any news on this?

I'm looking forward to it too... Hopefully almost the same time as US.
I bought Nexus 7 directly from US but I think Nexus 4 is better to be bought in Malaysia as it is more essential and a must have with you all the time .
Unlike Nexus 7, if anything goes wrong with it then it we can still live with it but Nexus 4 is a phone that you will need a replacement if anything goes wrong with it.
I've some rumors that it will start selling at end of Nov but still no confirmation.
How I wish that will be true. However if we want to buy from US, we either get from grey market, if not get some one from US to buy and forward to you. I hate they have no deal policy for non US credit card...

Hello, is Nexus 4 sold in any physical stores in Canada? Thanks.
No its only available through Google play store.

Best buy told me 2 weeks ago they will carry it locked to certain carriers. Mind you that was before the play store sold all 20 devices in Canada in less than 15 minutes. Who knows whether best buy will be getting their devices from Google or LG, and whether their shipment is considered a higher priority than the play stores.

I wonder if Mobilicity will get it eventually, since they carried the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S. "Eventually" being the key word...
Use this thread, thanks!

Nexus Edition you mean. I suppose anything Motorola releases will have a good shout for having a Nexus edition for purists.
I think an Xperia having a Nexus edition is most likely to come first though.
Know way of officially knowing yet. Could even be another LG....
Too early...

I hope it's not LG unless they can KEEP UP WITH DEMAND!
I want to order it and have it shipped on release date.
If Apple can manage it, so should Google!

Well Google and LG didn't know the Nexus 4 was going to be high in demand. Unlike Apple, the hype for Apple products are higher so the demand is greater therefore a large quantity of Apple products are produced more quickly.

I am travelling to US, France, Singpore by next week. Can you suggest which country would be best to buy Nexus 4 and the store name.
EBay is you're best bet or Amazon as its old now as far as technology goes plus the phone was sold from Google play so not many stores had them in stock officially. At least in Europe not sure about the U.S.
