Tmobile(USA) HD2 trouble with Android (SD)

I'm using TMOUSA HD2 with stock winMO (stock everything actually), but I am having trouble installing the android. Once I run it, it would pause on the HTC splash screen (with black background and green HTC logo), and I left it there for 30 mins with nothing happening. I did not format the SD card.
Any help greatly apprectiated!!
OS: 21889.5.0.87
ROM: 2.10.531.1 (stock TmobileUSA 6.5 winmo)
Radio: 2.08.50.08_2 (stock TmobileUSA)
Protocol: 15.34.50.07u (stock Tmobile USA)

I think your problem is you really need to update you software. Go here: http://www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade/, select the HTC HD2 and download the 3.14.531.1 version. Then since your using the SD installation, I suggest this rom here: http://androidadvices.com/htc-hd2-steps-to-install-android-2-3-gingerbread-os/. N.B - I used the 1Gb img file for best results (for me). Updating your software as I said earlier will definitely fix your problem because for sd installation it is always recommended to have at least 2.15 rom version but 3.14.531 will be better. Good luck.

Just so you know it does not matter, Windows Mobile ROM you have on your HD2 if you flash a NAND Android ROM. When you flash MAGLDR or cLK to your HD2 it removes what ever Windows Mobile ROM you have and installs MAGLDR or cLK ,which ever bootloader you chose, to the same area or ROM partition of the NAND memory. The only time it mattersWindows Mobile ROM you use as far as Android is concered is when you use a Android SD card build.

Where can I find an explanation of why the Windows Mobile ROM matters when doing the Android SD card build? Does it only matter upon the bootup before you load haret, or is Windows Mobile still loaded even after launching Haret?

[Q] Help needed regarding SD card lock

Guys i have tried "23 Langs HD2 Pdaimatejam Rom Wp7.5 mango 7740 v4"
and it didn't lock my sd card (only made 2 partitions 200 mb and other unformatted)
But when i installed XB mod's WP7 rom my SD card was locked and it was even unreadable for card reader. Later i managed to revive it somehow.
Now my Question is I am going to try "Pdaimatejam ROM WP7.5 Mango 8107 v6.5"
will this Lock my SD card or not ?? because i dont want my sd card to be locked again........

Nope it won't lock up anything ;-) That's the great thing with these custom roms! The reason why Yuki / XBmod locks up the card is that it's as close to stock as possible - and official MS roms lock the SD card because of security

On yukixbmod rom, and you can send sdcard unlock cab to easily unlock card and boot into android or use in pc/reader..

HOW TO flash WP7 after having Android on my HD2

1. Task29 (and format SD Card too)
2. Install Radio
3. Install a WM6.5 ROM.
Then, checkout xboxmod instructions:
----How to Update: ----
-1st it's recommended to flash an old rom wm 6.5 and let it boot entirely
-Format your SD card too
-Flash magldr 1.13
-Enable 24MB extra memory in Magldr services
-Delete MBR of SDcard in Magldr services
-Flash the rom with DWI & Set a correct time & date.
-Install the lastest version of zune client.
- You can Run the zune update process like a real WP7 device & go to build 8107.
-but it's better to look the cab thread and install os update via cab this is really faster than zune.

Flash WP7 after Android
It's pretty simple I've done this several timez cuz android sukz on my HD2 -.-
You need to wipe all your data on you Flash memory of yuor Phone. So Wipe (Task29) all your data, you can do this with the HD2 Toolkit From Here. After you have done this make shure you've got the correct Radio for WP7. Now you go into bootloader (power+vol down) and install MAGLDR (i guess you know how to install this). When you Phone reboots into MAGLDR select Services->UseLast24MB NAND [something like that] and after that choose USB Flasher from MAGLDR Main menue to flash the WP7 ROM you have choosen. I also recommend you to clean up your SD Card before flashing (delete all patitions and data)

i recommended you Pdamatejam ROM, not Yuki....
Yuki ROM lock SD cards (dont forget this)... Pdamtejam also can update with CAB's files

Whats the best wp7 rom out there?

Hd2 windows 7 Problam .

I i have Hd2 windows mobile 6.5 i tryed to update windows 7 ...Allso i update 1_HD2 Pdaimatejam Rom Wp7.5 mango 7.10.8107.79 v7.5 this version after Done mobile Came 7 for windows logo after that mobile went to switch off ...what i did wrong ? how can i recover this problam ?

Mobile Went to Go for menu 1 time I finished All setting's But if i Did power off and again Do power on it's just reboot Maglder Go Go step then again reboot Maglder Go Go option now what can i Do ?

Yes just now i insert the Sdcard one time went to home after switch off ..again i try to power on just it's won't boot . ok i will try to flash again with insert sdcard Allso after installtion can i remove sdcard ?

no.... sdcard must be always inside... sdcard is phone (WP7) memory.... without WP7 dont have space to install apps and memory space for work... all WP7 devices (HTC, Nokia, LG, Samsung) work on same way

It could also be you're radio version, check the rom description on what needs to be installed.

your SDcard not working (in WP7) if you dont have space... WP use SDcard as memory and SDcard must be in device when flashing ROM.... you cant put SDcard after WP7 flash... you must do hard reset or flash ROM again
