I found today quick acces to Googole Now and search now. Just press Home button for 1 second and move your finger to "unlock to Google now" .

Hi all,
I just can't find an answer to this.
I would like to map the "Device Unlocked" function to a button on the phone - that is, press a button to lock the phone.
Is this available as a Windows file that I can map to a button?

If you download Batterystatus (plusplus), there's a "Device Lock on wakeup" function, so when you press the off button on the side to suspend the device the keys lock. Does that help?

I've done this with the program HButton...to programm a 1 second hold button to lock the device....programm the 1 second hold function to the program devicelock.exe ....you'll find that programm somewhere here....and also HButton....working great!

As a tip from another thread, I downloaded BatteryStatus also, and installed it. After that, I copied BSDeviceLock.exe from my Windows dir to the SD card and made a shortcut to the Start Menu.
After that you can map it to any button you like in the normal button setting panel
i tried few tutorials from youtube one of the is *#0011# and then (menu) press back (menu) enter key number1 and hidden menu option dont popup it stays on service mode i mean the next screen dont popup after i press 1 what option do i have

On Long Pressing Home Button it opens Google App
and also when i Long Press Left Navigation Key it Opens all the running Apps along with Google Search Bar
I want to remove that Search Bar

Here is a foolproof way to put a Bixby floating icon on your home screen.
No need for button remappers, no need to flash or install anything at all.
This method works on all versions of the S8 and S8 Plus phones.
No root required, the only thing which is required is to have Bixby installed first.
Here are the easy step by step instructions:
1: Go into settings>acessibility>dexterity and interaction>assistant menu
and enable it, then you will see another assistant menu so enable it again.
2: Then click on the assistant menu options and select Bixby.
3: Click the back button and you will see the assistant menu again.
4: Now you can select how much transparency you want for the new
Bixby floating icon to have on your home screen.
Once you are done you will see a Bixby icon on your home screen
that you can move to any location on your home screen.
When you click this new Bixby icon it will open Bixby Home and if you
like, you can set the right swipe to google assisant instead of Bixby.
If you choose more than one floating icon then clicking on it will just
open the icon and display more icon buttons, so only select Bixby.

Weird, it works on mine with android 11. Vol down +power button for less then a second.
Open the app and open the menu on the left-hand side and navigate to settings. Toggle “Show Hidden Files” so it is on. Go back to the main menu and you can now either search for, or navigate to, the . nomedia file and rename or delete it.
