Changing Kernels??

example im using Repencis kernel in USSRv5
and then
i want to change it to kuro's kernel
the
RAM MANAGEMENT TWEAK FROM HITME987
v6supercharger
and the a2sd will be remove??? or gone? please do help me :highfive:

its safe as long u always friendly with odin and cwm-recovery before trying something

im friendly with them.. mr. savie what im asking example i use ur kernel the tweak i add on the older kernel will be gone when i flash your kernel??answer please

lol.. kidding...
if
kernel1+tweak1
change with
kernel2
then
kernel2+tweak1
if
kernel1+tweak1
change with
tweak2
then
kernel1+tweak2
Different case if tweak is integrated with kernel (kernel+integrated.tweak)
If
(kernel1+integrated.tweak)+tweak
change with
kernel2
then
kernel2+tweak

cant see text on init.d script

Like the title says ive got init.d scripts on my rom but i cant see the text yet the scripts have got a size in bytes and kilobytes so they must be workin because ive made my own personal stock rom.
The init.d scripts that i have used for my rom are stored on my sdcard and i can see the script text fine so i no that there not just blank scripts
So can anyone help

I dont knw if it helps or nt bt as far as my knowledge init.d works only if u install a kernel that supports it..
So make sure that u have one..
**rooting is new for me...and i am noob to root...**

yup im using hells fusion and it does work just dont understand y the scripts are empty but there still running

Ive solved my problem i used es file explorer to see the scripts but just dont understand why root explorer wont see it

I'm a newbie so you can let me know which kernel suitable for rom USSR v9

You can try these kernel's ( most of them i've tried ) :
- Hell's Fusion #40 or #63 ( you're choice )
- Kuro Kernel
- Whitexp's Kernel 1.3.3
- Savie's Kernel
those are the kernel's i've tried
Performance is very awesome
Battery saving will depend on the frequency you've changed.

it doesn't work , i've found the file on another site because the link is dead . after i flashed it with clockwordmod it didn't work.

you enable inti.d by type a code in post-boot.sh file on the link above
and you can try flash Skernel or monster kernel

didn't work
i edited the post_boot and it didn't work .
do you think thoses custom kernels would work with my custom rom ?

use the kernel that OP give in thread of the rom or use Skernel or monster kernel, and i think all version from beta 9 or above is support init.d

i don't have any init.d problem in beta 11, just flash rom and gapps, then flash mod and tweak i want
