[Q] Creed v3.5 vs. Repencis 3.5

Can anyone tell me which is best? bugs? and best kernel to use? please kindly help....

idk creeds looks better but reprencis gets high scores on benchmarks.... try them out and pick the one u like ^^

I just rooted my phone and I tried creed rom trying repencis now but I am afraid to brick my phone and is ChobitsDigitalis rom greater than repencis or creed any comment?

i think repencis is more great than chobit,the repencis 3.5 is smooth and fast,also the creeds 3.5 is good.. i rather suggest u to choose between repencis or creeds..

Trying the Repencis V3.5 right now didn't sleep because of this custom rom lol hahaha well gonna test it now and may i ask do i need to run scripts like v6 supercharger and KAK in repencis v3.5?

Repencis 3.5 is the best, i use since repencis 2.5. . .and now its so much better. . .ill say that creds point is 8.5 and repencis poin is 9.3. . . do with your own experiment

yup,u can run v6 on repencis 3.5 i used it and it's so smooth and fast..

i suggest you try them both.. just be sure to backup first before installing.. then you choose..

try them both out since its you whos gonna be using it. so you are the only one who can actually tell which one you will be comfortable using with
PS. lucky choice you tried out creeds 1st than repencis otherwise you would have to flash a kernel again if you flashed repencis 1st coz it flashes its own kernel which is not compatible with creeds making it unable to boot

Yup back to stock rom creed to o bugy and i dont know how to use repencis.

Tweaks: v6 supercharger and kak.
Any suggestions on how to increase ram, phone mem and performance?

for ram u could try integrating swap, just make sure you have a class 10 sd card otherwise it would slow your phone down heres the link to the thread

for phone mem u can use a2sd or link2sd just try both to see which one your comfortable with and for performance you seem to have installed v6 and kak already so thats already cool :good:

I m using repencis, works great . only problem is that it doesnot support hindi language properly, although stock rom supports that. Otherwise maybe its the best.

Long time i was use Terma rom v2.1 after terma i flash creed nd i have bugs nd problems.Now i'm on Repencis 3.5-works fantastic for now.

Choosing a rom really depends on your opinion.....for me the top three are repencis 3.5, chobits digitalis and creed 3.5....

Repencis 3.5 With A2SD through Better Terminal Pro (NOT A2SD GUI Since it will cause you to only be able to boot from CWM and if it reboots it will get stuck on a black screen on startup!)

me too i have developed my SGY to vaporize anyone using gamma rays
we are so in sync...

so far,repencis 3.5 for me..but im trying other roms,,

repencis and creed
stable rom:
repencis, chobits, creed

Repencis roms Come with pre installed titanium backup. I'm not able to un install it or update it.
It starts to force close and I get out of the rom I few hours.
But when ' best rom' kind of thread comes up, Repencis is the answer I see most.
What do you guys do for titanium backup?

Too much does not work, you should rephrase it to what works
For working we have
1. It boots
2. We have signal and data network
3. It has sound
4. It has crt off effect
5. It can call and text

for me Next2ICS v2.0 rom is most stable for galaxy y . While i was using repencis rom i had titanium backup force close issues

No way I've been using it for a while now and I can guarantee that there are no bugs atleast for me

You'll see people posting their problems in every rom's thread whether it be hyperion or jelly blast but those are not bugs in roms they are just glitches we face when we do something wrong while flashing or mess up with something unnecessarily! Devs won't release buggy roms after all

my phone always rebooting after installing meruk and i cant make any phone call it always fc and s0metimes reboot ;( any tips to make it perfect? btw i follow the instructi0ns at the first page of the jbv3 thread using odin.

I'm sure merruk kernel works with all roms
Try to find a guide on installing merruk's kernel in thr general section by mai77

i also tried the procedure in mai general section, but everytime i flash meruk.tar via odin, my phone w0nt reboot and cant enter recovery mode, i also tried to ask in irc but no one is answering sorry for my noobness.

lol i had a hard time installing too in during my first time,
it is complicated and a tiny mistake could brick the phone,
anyways,
just be patient and try it over and over in a very slow pace and note everything you did during the process and i'm sure you'll get it in no time,

I Installed Hells_lock kernel = hells fusion #50 and I am getting wifi problem after installing stock rom too....

go to dev section,search for wifi driver by whitexp.
you flash hells_fusion,why don't u search first in respective thread?

are you mounting everything before install? cuz I fixed all wifi bugs in #50

He might have switched from a kernel using whites modded dhd.ko that means wifi will only work on whites kernel
But buddy helps here .....just extract dhd.ko from a stock rom its there in system/lib/modules ..... Correct me if im wrong...i dont remember....it should be there...or download it from the thread flash or replace and VOILA problem solved.....

I have tried everything but getting prob.... even wifi driver and all other fixes.... 3G also not working

I was using stock kernel on evo x3 rom now i am on jellyblast 3.5 with kuro kernel.....
Hey! Buddy I am on my other Galaxy Y it is working super fine with your hell fusion kernel with creed rom 3.5.....

uou can do ythe following-
1-extract dhd.ko from the stock rom and place it in system/lib/modules
2-reflash rom

Wow....
I told them that my was not working since a week I saw they flashed stock rom (it could be DDLA3) now updated DDLK1.....
They told me it was a minor issue and not a driver problem bcoz i thought be4 I alsi had a hard brick on it......

I use savie's kernel coz it's battery saving + boost up the system.But hell lock's kernel is also good.Just read the reviews in the threads.
