sorry guys I've been away from this forum for a little while and was wandering what you guys thought about the best custom rom so far preferably jb I'm running civatos reflex but have some issues i don't like so looking to change
RandomBlames JellyTime 4.2.1 is killer. Some small issues. Nothing crazy. Deff useable as an everyday driver.
For me,
[ROM]ICS-4.0.4 FLEX-Ressurrection-Aroma_Rev1 made by Civato.
Very stable, smooth. Bug free.
This rom does what I need.
I'm using JB v20 from thor2002ro with jb-kernel t19
It's work in progress but i did not have any issues so far. :good:

I totally agree! Also using this ROM for quite a while now. Works fine, smooth and stable :good:
I'd recommend any of civato's roms
Re-reflex ShellShock was the first custom rom I put on my iconia and though I like it most I use Tegraowners JBv20. the deciding point was a working GPS on JBv20 while nothing could have made it work on ICS. I hope Devs are going to resolve that issue in one of the next roms.
I used to ROM hop a lot but after settling on "[ROM]Jelly-Bean_4.1.2_CM10-FLEX_v6supercharged_Aroma(22-Nov-2012)" I've never had any wish to change. It's great for me in every way.

READ! : The poll doesn't matter anymore, all votes are now false.
Yo guys, I just got back from vacation and also with my GT540 fixed, finding a whole bunch of new roms.
Anyway, I realise there are other threads like this, but they don't give a clear answer. So what do you think is the best rom so far?
Also I need help for choosing a rom since my phone was reset to 1.6. Here's what a need in a rom.
Enough battery life for daily school use.
Quick and Responsive.
Inbuilt Wifi Tethering(not necessary because I can use barnacle)
Root (Obviously).
Beauty.
Stable.
EDIT: I've added a poll of some of the popular roms, I'll add more that haven't been added and have been posted.
EDIT2: Just realised can't edit poll, sorry.
Thanks.

Alright, I'll check it out, but is it good to take the latest? Or is there a specific version I should use?

I'd use the latest (1.1) it seems to be even better than 1.0
Use the latest sdsl or lewa rom.

Lewa rom its very good.
The title says it all. I searched the forums but I find gb builds filled with bugs or too many mods... Isn't there a totally stable , bugless gingerbread with good battery life?

There is, as the new blades, Gen3 come with gingerbread. However, I haven't seem a flashable zip anywhere. Good luck with that
There is one aosp 2.3.7 by Tommie search modaco I would have linked u there but im not able to open modaco I might post the link in an hour or so

I think you are confused aosp is not equal to stock and they can never coexist together in one ROM
Use Swedish Snow,
http://www.modaco.com/topic/350875-romgen2-swedish-snow-rls7-android-235/
It's a stock 2.3.5 Swedish ROM designed for the ZTE Blade, there are a few minor tweaks and customisations to make the user experience better, but it's no where near as customised as CyanogenMod. To be honest it's the nearest you're going to get to an AOSP stock ROM designed for the ZTE Blade
PS: I know it's an awesome ROM since I use it.

Downloading that too.... Is it bugless?
Nope. I think I saw a cockroach in it.

Hahaha! I'm using it now, it's really good and better than the others....
I have themed it to look like a samsung stock rom. Battery is amazing. I can play all my HD games(of course after editing build.prop). This is smoother than CM7 IMHO.

battery drain, wifi lock up. crashes on cyan 4.1.2 yet it is "Stable"
there must be a better JB. Do I have to try them all?

It means it was "stable for the exact model it was developed for", which, apparently, creates lots of problems to others. I'm not sure what subtle differences there are between TF101 models, but it seem to matter with ROMs. I'm still using 4.0.3 stock (rooted) because no 4.1 ROM will work "well enough", I always have major problems. I guess you're in the same boat I am.
However, I had colleagues that use 4.1 ROMs without any issues whatsoever...

"Stable" enough for most peoples for daily use. It's not the "Final" version so minor bugs are to be expected. Off course each and every tablet is different even if it's the same make and model.
As for trying them all, why not? At least till you find a ROM you like.
This is what "testing" is all about.

With my particular device/usage model, I have to agree. It's easily as stable as the most recent official ICS update, and more robust than anything earlier.

Official ASUS updates have not been stable for me since about January, actually since the 1st ICS update was sent out
After 6 months of waiting for ASUS to send out something that didn't reboot every few minutes and didn't welcome you in the morning to a completely drained dock and tablet battery, I gave up on them and went custom
Since I found Team EOS, my tablet is a pleasure to use and never craps out, ever, I have never seen a RR or SoD since flashing their ROM which is why I continue to recommend it whenever someone is looking for a stable ROM

done and thankyou. this is the best this tablet has ever performed:victory:
I was happy stock, but this is superb!
+1 for team EOS. I stopped using my tablet for a few months because of the RRs and SODs. I flashed Team EOS's JB ROM and suddenly my TF101 is usable again!
Unfortunately, now I want to sell it for either a newer TF model or the Nexus 10

Hi folks,
I haven't been on the XDA for like a year, which is a shame... But I haven't followed the updates.
So first: do we have a stable JB already?
Second: did any dev's leave?
Thx people!
Ps. I'll try to update the ROM list and the info-webbsite in my christmas-holiday!

Third: what is the most stable ROM, without WiFi start errors, a proper functioning video player without getting it overheated, and with a nice UI?? (.32 kernel is no problem for me (or will I miss something important))
Thx people!

the 2.6.35 is the most complete not-lg kernel for gt540 and its blazing fast and nearly everything works flawlessy.

Hello!
I'll make this quick and sweet.
I bought my nexus 4 about a month ago and i love it.
However i'd like to customize it, i've rooted it and everything.
I'm currently rocking a 4.3 custom rom.
I need help with recommendation with some ROM, i've tested a few but cant really find out what i like.
Could you guys recommend a ROM for me?
What i want is: Much customization as possible, Decent battery life, Much speed, PIE controls (or something similar to it) and maybe some other stuff what might be useful.
Thank you so much.

I would recommend you SlimBean Rom. Full of customization. PIE, Halo and what not.
I got a battery backup of 1d 10hrs with 4+ SOT , had posted this in Slim thread too. :good:
Just flash it and you will surely love it. :good:
Press thanks if I helped you.

On Beta 5 you can use Hells core kernel JWR version.. but just wait for a day or two beta 6 is coming soon. :good:
The stock kernel is also good, you can test on it and then make a call to take try other kernels.
Well I was on PAC but the last releases were very buggy so I decided to try paranoidandroid nightly and I must say I am very, happy with it! The Rom itself doesn't have all the customization the PAC or AOKP but it has more then Cm!
But the most important thing is that it is 100% stable! And has a very nice battery life! Never had one problem with it!
Oh and Pie and Halo are originally from paranoidandroid so they also work here the best!
