Continuing my previous topics for real Windows Phone Application Bar extracted icons (here and here), I have now extracted 99 new icons from the Windows Phone 8 bits!
The icons are the REAL ones on the device native applications (messaging, mail, office, etc.) as they where obtained directly from these applications resources!
You can find them here!
These are provided free of charge, all I ask is that you link to the post, not to the file (nor copy for redistribution, just use direct linking to the post
Here is the icons preview

It might just be lying right under my nose, but how do I get those icons that show on your Today screen just like the ones displayed on the Windows Mobile ads I see everywhere in the city? (The ones with the Pocket PC with a green wallpaper and five icons displaying outlook, contacts, word, internet explorer, and excel)
I'm sure it's a plug-in, but which one is it?
example below:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I've been looking everywhere for it... haven't found anything sensible yet.
Look at this page

I found 2 programs on the web, and they can be usefull for further development.
First program is called "dynamo", when it is started it show all open application on one single screen. Windows Vista and Apple OSX haveboth the same feature and it looks nice on a PDA.
Here is a screenshot when the program is running an the opened applications are shown:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
In the attachment is the program.
The second program is even more interesting, but still very basic and complete useless at this moment. The program has the ability to change to another screen in an animated way, flipping, sliding, etc.
In the attachements is a demo and it think( !!!!) the sourcecode. I am not a developer, so please excuse me if I am wrong or show up with something old.
Both apps are from Aspecto Software www.aspecto-software.com

Hi everybody
I had this question
Why do we have windows logo on the system hard disk and can't put any icon on other hard disks?!
So I have worked and added icons for each hard disk like this
You can send your desired icon and i will send back the whole modified hard disk icon

Some time ago I published here at XDA an utility which allows you to create from given icon (tile) set(s) a 32-bit resource DLL useable with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8.x

It's about the creation of the icons not the method of changing it my friend
