Low mic gain when using headphones - Galaxy Note II General

Does anyone know of a work around for using a pair of normal headphones plugged into note 2 but not lowering the internal mic gain?
On my galaxy nexus I could use headphones with phone in car mount and Caller could hear me fine. Since I have been using the note 2 the caller says I am very faint. Unplugging headphones and using speakerphone caller can hear me fine. Obviously I would rather use the headphones so I can hear the caller clearly.
Any ideas......

Earpiece Volume R800x

Anyone else having issues with the earpiece volume being really low? I used to have an HTC Eris and that was loud and could hear anyone even with the phone sitting next to me on high but this phone i have to push the phone basically into my ear to hear some people.
I was wondering if there is any program that will work with an unrooted Xperia (since I have the R800x) ... I have tried countless things on the market but none of it helps.
Stereo speakers on the side of the phone are loud as hell, it is just the earpiece.

The earphones are pretty ****. When I switch it to my senheissers it seems to be fine.
I am still having this issue.. the phones earpeice speaker is like 25% the volume of the speaker phone speakers. in a silent room I have trouble hearing people. I have no other option but use a blue tooth headset which ends up being 50% louder then the speaker phone speakers.
Anyone found a way to boost the headset speaker yet?

System sounds through headset

Hey all,
Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but I was playing around a little and noticed that some sounds (sytem sounds, ringtones, notifications) do not go through the headset when headphones are plugged in.
Turns out if you plug in a headset with the microphone all works fine.
Bummer as most headsets with mic are not so good and this doesn't really help when hooking up to the car.

No sound after phone was wet

My nephew spilled his juice on my phone. Everything is working fine except for the external speaker. It works when being used as a speakerphone, but ring tones and notifications are not as loud any more. And any type of audio from music or YouTube does not play. Anyone have any ideas what I can do?
Probably speaker damaged take it to Verizon

can I make Z3C ring from speaker even headset is plugged in?
I can't find any setting about this in settings app.
Well if you don't keep it in silent mode or vibrate, the sound comes through both headset and speaker as far as i know. You can try it out

Speaker and earphones on call

Just wanted to check that my device is working correctly. When I do a phone call with my earphones plugged in I can hear the call in both ears. When I do a call on speaker phone it only comes out of one speaker not both, is this normal?
Just tested this and noticed the same thing: only the bottom speaker works. Anyone else care to confirm?
Same here. But it was also the same on my HTC one m7 which also had stereo front speakers, on speakerphone only one was operational so I'd say it's normal
