Hi,
So I've done something stupid, I've uninstalled root using SuperSU and now I need root back, is there a Cwm flashable way to sort this? Or would I have to use the PC root method? I have Cwm installed(if I hold power and vol down)...

I recommend you do a search before posting... the answer to your question is yes though.

Yeah, I would do... But the free app doesn't have the facility.
And what do you mean yes? That I would need to go through the whole process again via PC?

No, you can flash in recovery. All of the guides in this forum mention it. I don't even have this device yet, but I've read through the forums a bit. I suggest you do the same.

Hello, I am not rooted and know nothing about clockworkmod. (I have tried rooting numerous times but no success. I'm thinking drivers) I would like to know if its possible to flash it with my epic being stock? I have searched and have turned no results about flashing it from stock. Everything refers to rooted. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Download titanium backup.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Ok I will. I just tried flashing the beta and it says something about invalid signature??
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
You still need clockwork to flash.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Do I need to buy clockwork?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
No but I am not sure if you can install it without a pc. Are you using the drivers from samsung?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Yes I downloaded samsung galaxy s drivers from here when I tried to root. Never for them to work even with 2 fresh installs. Thanks for the info on the z4root, by far the easiest and fastest way I've ever rooted before. But ya I have samsung drivers.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
is it the same driver you get from the samsung website? You said you got them here so I am just checking cause I am not sure. I got mine right from the samsung website.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
I got them here from xda. Can I only use clockworkmod from a computer?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App

I am afraid I won't be any help there. I haven't flashed clockwork yet because I am not sure how easy it is to remove (noob) so I am waiting until Froyo releases. Unless I can't find an easy method to install it and uninstall it.
just downloaded z4root and rom manager from market
z4root installing right now

Don't install it, just push it to system/apps with adb or root explorer. That should do the trick.
Can u explain how to do that. I dont want to f**k up something.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Thx i make that. I will see later does it work becouse i dont ha good internet conection.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Nah... Dont work.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I had the same problem as you once,it's a licence/permissions problem if I remember correctly because pushing it through ADB won't work for you either.
Didn't you make a Nandroid backup?
If not then the quickest way I would suggest is to flash an official ROM and start again. All the time it's taken you.............. You could have been up and running hours ago.
Good luck.
Ok thanks for help.z

If you use the forums search function you will find many instances where people ran across the same thing for many different reasons. You will need to check (based on what you will find) and see which reason is causing your problem with ADB. It could be anything from a driver issue to out-of-date SDK tools and many other reasons so there is no way to know until you check and trouble shoot.
the de-odex thread talks about at&t. will this work on other carriers?
Rogers in particular?

What phone are we talking about? GT-S5670?
If your phone is an i9505 and you root using CF-Auto Root, SuperSU will automatically be installed.
Another way is to download and install SuperSU from Google Play Store.
i talk about i-9505...

Well you would need Odin and it only runs on PC (if i recall correctly) so it's a no go..
Can I use this yet to get TWRP on my phone yet?
Just download it from their website then download the flashify app to flash it as recovery. No need for a computer. That's the way I did it

It's really easy to install adb and do it that way. I wouldn't let goomanager hold you back ?

I think I've been around here long enough to know where to look for what I want. Clearly if I am asking in the "HELP" forum, I need help\assistance\direction. If you don't have that to provide, please move on. Thanks!

Come on, you need to do more digging. If you are using the D802, get the twrp(2.6.3.2) from here
http://click.xda-developers.com/api...ers&txt=here&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_13817555670696
Else, the links for all the other available twrp images are here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449670
Then use flashify, unless you really want to use manager.
