Hmm..I'm not seeing anything working on my Modaco rom?

That has been a built in feature of pure aosp since 4.0, it should work unless the dev of that rom went out of his way to remove it.
Volume down and power at the same time.

Best rom for nexus 7

Hi, i would like to know what the consensus of the best rom is for this epic tablet. Usually i would go over a few roms a week and test em all out, but dont have the time Lemme know?
There is no such thing as a "best" ROM. It depends on what your needs are. And ultimately that is going to come down to you trying them out and finding out what works for you.

Been using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1777586 with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1823671 for a few days now. Thinking about trying out CM10's new "M" build.

[Q] how do you change the color/images of soft keys?

Hey I have the cm10 nightly rom and i was wondering if there was any way to change the color or images of the soft keys to something different.
Thanks in advance!

You can do it by replacing the images in the systemui.apk or might be able to do it through a theme as well.

This a link for a simple how to! If you want to pull systemui will need a apk tool. You can do search on that. I hope this helps.

One of my favorite guys for all things Android. Should work the same on your nexus 7 as his Galaxy Nexus. Maybe not the Exact same thing but similar concept and a good start.
P.S. you could also just flash aokp and it should be in settings.

More Volume steps

I want to know if there is an easy MOD I could flash on my nexus 4 that would add more volume steps to my volume controls.
The volumes steps on this phone are really big. One step is really to low and the next one is blasting my ears.
I searched a lot on this forum and I couldn't find an easy way to do it. I don't want to edit hex files or anything like that. So this is why i'm asking if someone know really easy way to do it. Or if there is a custom rom that does just that.
My nexus 4 is rooted and running the latest crDroid (CM version).
Thanks a lot for your help
